Ahead of WWE SummerSlam as well as Netflix's upcoming docuseries "WWE: Unreal", injured superstar Bianca Belair was interviewed by CBSSports where she provided an injury update on the broken fingers she suffered back in April at WrestleMania 41 that has subsequently sidelined her for much longer than anyone expected.
Belair is still unable to nail down an in-ring return, initially believing she would be out for about 4-6 weeks. However, three months later she noted that one finger is still giving her problems as it fractured at the joint.

"I broke it in three places and the joint. It healed, but it won't bend. You can't wrestle with a straight finger because it'll break again... I can't even sew right now. I can't even make gear."
She shared that she is waiting to see if the finger heals on its own or would require surgery, but would not rule out an "appearance" at SummerSlam despite her slow recovery.
