WWE NXT UK Recap (07/28): Ilja Dragunov vs. Wolfgang

WWE recently held the latest episode of their WWE NXT UK brand, which saw current WWE NXT UK Champion Ilja Dragunov defend his WWE NXT UK Title against Wolfgang in the show's main event.

Below are the results from the show, courtesy of F4WOnline.com:

- Josh Briggs and Brooks Jensen (c) def. Mark Andrews and Wild Boar to retain their WWE NXT UK Tag Team Championships.

- There was a backstage segment, where Tyler Bate said he had loved Trent Seven like a brother but now he was coming to get him.

- A press conference then took place between WWE NXT UK Women's Champion Meiko Satomura and her next challenger Sarray. They spoke in Japanese and Sarray then said in English that she was the sunrise and Satomura was the sunset. Satomura then said no one could beat her. They then posed for a photo and Satomura stared at Sarray, which slightly flustered her.

- Blair Davenport def. Amale.

- We then see Oliver Carter at Die Familie's dinner table as he did a voiceover with a German accent, just as Teoman usually does. Carter then switched to his own accent and started upsetting the table decoration. Carter then wrote a letter to Die Familie and told them that Rohan Raja was next. Teoman then read the letter and was furious.

- We then head a backstage segment, where people were still cashing-in their bets with Sha Samuels. Since he had no money left, Sha Samuels were paying people with his shoes and various track jackets. Samuels was then distraught and half naked by the end.

- A segment then took place, where it was announced that WWE NXT 2.0's Chase U will be making their WWE NXT UK debut next week. Oliver Carter vs. Rohan Raja also was made official for next week's episode of WWE NXT UK.

- Ilja Dragunov (c) def. Wolfgang to retain his WWE NXT UK Championship. After the match, Ilja Dragunov helped Wolfgang back to his feet and Wolfgang pointed to the WWE NXT UK Title and seemingly offered the champion some words of encouragement before shaking his hand as the show came to a close.
