-- Last night's WWE Monday Night Raw averaged 1.73 million viewers and a 0.62 rating, both figures quite impressive considering the circumstances. Raw once again aired on Syfy due to USA Network's coverage of the Olympic games and went head-to-head against that coverage on multiple networks, including NBC. The show featured fallout from SummerSlam and would generally be expected to draw one of the best audiences of the year.
-- Raw helped power Syfy to the top of the cable charts and the show actually outdrew the Olympics coverage on USA in an interesting twist but would have trailed NBC's coverage. Compared to last year, Raw was down only marginally which would be remarkable considering both the competition and the change in station.
