According to the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE has been purchasing advertisements on HBO Max that air during episodes of AEW Dynamite to promote their upcoming television tapings. An example of this occurred during this week’s episode of Dynamite, where ads for an upcoming episode of RAW in Evansville, Indiana were shown.
This move follows a pattern where AEW previously bought local ads on WWE programming, and WWE has also engaged in similar practices. However, this marks the first instance in which WWE has advertised on a streaming platform.
