WWE SmackDown Viewership And Rating Report For Last Friday Night

WrestleNomics reports that the post-WWE Night of Champions and Independence Day episode of SmackDown, which aired last Friday on the USA Network, attracted an average of 1.166 million viewers and achieved a rating of 0.32 in the key 18-49 demographic.

This represents a 19.59% decrease from the previous week's viewership of 1.450 million and a 21.95% drop from last week’s rating of 0.41 in the same demographic. Last Friday's rating and audience figures are the lowest since the show returned to the USA Network, and the lowest overall since the Best of 2023 episode, which aired on FOX on December 29, 2023. The July 4th holiday likely contributed to these numbers, as it has often led to record lows in viewership. Despite this, SmackDown was still the #1 show on cable during primetime and the top show across all networks, even surpassing NBC’s broadcast.

So far in 2025, SmackDown is averaging a rating of 0.433 in the key 18-49 demographic, with an average of 1.488 million viewers. In comparison, during the same period in 2024 on FOX, the show had a rating of 0.955 and an average of 2.324 million viewers.

The episode was headlined by "The Samoan Werewolf" Jacob Fatu and Jimmy Uso competing against WWE United States Champion Solo Sikoa and JC Mateo in a tag team match.
