WWE Suspends GUNTHER For Attack On Pat McAfee

WWE authority figure Adam Pearce has handed down a major punishment: Gunther has been suspended indefinitely.

The former WWE World Heavyweight Champion unleashed chaos on the Raw after WrestleMania 41, attacking commentators Michael Cole and Pat McAfee. The incident began when Gunther targeted Cole for praising Jey Uso—the man who forced him to tap out on the grand stage. McAfee jumped in to defend his colleague but was quickly overpowered and choked out by the furious former champ.

On April 25, Pearce took to X (formerly Twitter) to announce that Gunther had been fined an undisclosed amount in addition to his suspension. He also confirmed that Pat McAfee will appear on the upcoming episode of Raw in Kansas City.
