WWE's week-long activities in Las Vegas for WrestleMania 41 were obviously a massive success with the company touting the actual event as their highest grossing event of all-time. The company "absolutely loved" working with Las Vegas as a partner for the show and related festivities with the final event airing tonight (NXT). PWInsider reported that it would not be a surprise to see WWE bring WrestleMania back to Vegas in the future.
Prior to his injury, WWE had plans to recreate Rey Mysterio's old leaping entrance on the stage at WrestleMania. Mysterio of course injured his groin at Smackdown the night before WrestleMania and as a result, the plans for him were not only scrapped but that element was not used for anyone else either. Mysterio's replacement - Rey Fenix - received considerable praise backstage for stepping into the scheduled match against El Grande Americano on such short notice.
The Tiffany Stratton - Charlotte Flair match went off without a match but there were some rough moments with both wrestlers working relatively stiff. Flair for one was said to be "absolutely laying it in" on Stratton and there was some backstage chatter that Tiffany may have chipped or broken a tooth.
In order to keep the element of surprise intact, WWE did not list Joe Hendry as Randy Orton's opponent on any internal run sheets. Hendry was hidden backstage and only came out right before his entrance. Becky Lynch was also not listed internally as Lyra Valkyria's tag team partner, however, she was not hidden at all and was actually seen practicing in the ring in the afternoon prior to Night Two.
