Ring Announcer: Lilian Garcia

Greetings. This Highlander free edition of Heat has three matches on offer. We begin with...........

Paul London vs Charlie Haas
London sleepwalks on the entrance ramp before charging to the ring. Lilian wrongly announces Haas as being one half of the World's Greatest Tag Team. Coachman gets mad at this, urging her to pay attention before revealing himself as the president of the Lilian Garcia haters club. Hey cut the girl some slack. Everyone makes mistakes. Haas has his own music and titantron. Two tussles to the corner lead to a stalemate. The crowd boo Haas' stall tactics. London starts with some side headlock takedowns and hits a modified Dudley dog out of the corner to keep the hold applied. Haas hurts himself delivering a back suplex allowing London to apply a headscissors on the mat. Haas thinks about headstanding free but ends up in a front facelock. Haas lifts London onto the ring apron to break the hold. London lands a punch counter before Haas avoids a top rope Mushroom stomp. Haas gets caught in another side headlock takedown. Haas gets London in the corner and knees the gut to escape. Haas checks his jaw before Irish whipping London. London floats over a charge then goes back to the side headlock takedown. Haas sends London off the ropes, London ducks underneath, Haas hits a shoulder tackle. Haas telegraphs a London leapfrog and shoves him down. Haas talks trash while slapping London in the head and face. London retaliates with kicks sending Haas to the corner. London Irish whips and hits a corner dropkick for a nearfall. London grabs an arm, Haas punches free, stomps on London's hand then applies a headlock. Both exchange some shots, London off the ropes comes back with a hiptoss counter and two armdrags. London ducks a lunge but Haas thwarts a rollup attempt by grabbing the ropes. London rolls back before knocking Haas through the ropes with a spinning heel kick. The crowd get behind London. London tries a plancha as Haas rolls back in. London manages to land on the apron. London comes back in hitting Haas with a kick for a nearfall. Haas goes to the corner and reverses an Irish whip. Haas charges into an elbow. London blindly leaps from the second rope, Haas quickly catches him in an armbar as Heat cuts away for a brief Armageddon ad. We return with London still in the armbar as Haas modifies his positioning. Haas cuts off London's punches with a knee to the head. Haas ties the arm up then slams London down for a nearfall. Haas punches away on the head then goes back to the armbar. Haas cuts London off with another knee before throwing his shoulder into the corner twice. Haas hits an armbar takedown for a nearfall. London rests in the ropes so Haas presses London's arm and shoulder with the side of his boot then sits on another armbar. The commentators put over the Haas beatdown and London's toughness. London tries to press at Haas' face but Haas simply applies more pressure to the arm. Haas drives knees into London's arm then switches to another armbar variation. Grisham makes a note of this. London gets Haas in the corner for some head rams to the gut but Haas kicks and wrenches at the arm to regain control. Haas legdrops the arm and gets a nearfall. Haas applies another armbar variation before hooking and pulling at London's hand. Coachman says it's masterful work, amazing to watch and not boring as Haas keeps London down with a kick to the chest. Grisham likens Haas to a surgeon as he gets London on his shoulders. London manages to slip down and hang Haas up on the top rope in desperation. Both men stay down as the referee lays the count on. Haas gets up at eight but London fights back with an inverted atomic drop, headscissors, two forearms, dropkick and standing Shooting Star press (reverse backflip according to Coachman) for a nearfall. Haas reverses London off the ropes who telegraphs a backbodydrop with a boot to the head. Haas ducks London's swinging kick and London lands on his feet following Haas' german suplex attempt. London hooks a rollup for a nearfall which comes across as a three count. Alas we continue as Haas boots London in the head which sends him to the corner. Coachman speculates on this lasting an hour and wouldn't mind seeing that. Haas Irish whips London, London gets his feet up but Haas catches them and pushes London out to the apron. London sends Haas away by driving his head into the gut. London goes to springboard back in but falls down onto his arm. Haas covers and presses down onto the arm to get the 1-2-3. This didn't look like a botch as the commentators play this up as London's mistake and him going to the well one too many times. Good match which went around 15 minutes. May be the longest match in Heat history. Here is Your Winner: CHARLIE HAAS. Post match sees Haas smile and get his arm raised as London gets checked on by referees and a trainer. The commentators speculate on London's wellbeing. Hopefully London doesn't get fed to Mr Kennedy on Raw like Brian Kendrick did this past week.

Carlito vs Christian York
Carlito comes out munching apple with an expressionless look. Carlito backs York to the corner then shoves. York shoves back, Carlito feigns backing off before landing boots, clubs and a head ram in the corner. Carlito follows up with a boot/punch combo in the corner. Grisham takes digs at Carlito being disinterested, lapsidaisical and lazy as Coachman sticks up for him and his style. York telegraphs a Carlito backbodydrop with a boot to the head. York ducks a clothesline but gets sent out of the ring by a running backelbow. Carlito goes out, rams York's head into the apron, puts him back in then hits a bad looking missile dropkick from the top rope for a nearfall. Grisham thinks York looks like Ric Flair as Carlito traps him in a head vice. Carlito rubs his forearm down York's face during the resthold. York starts to punch free until Carlito counters with a roll the dice neckbreaker. Carlito sits up with a look of disgust on his face. Carlito puts the boots to York. Carlito slams then hits a legdrop off the ropes before asking York if that's all he's got. Carlito Irish whips York then charges into an elbow. York Irish whips then dropkicks Carlito who slumps in the corner. York hits a rolling senton then pulls Carlito out of the corner and into a cover for one. York goes for a slam but Carlito slips down and hits the backstabber. Carlito sits up in disgust again before covering for the win. 1-2-3. Carlito phones it in but still provides a good match. He's capable of so much more though. York has another good showing on Heat. Get him signed WWE. Here is Your Winner: CARLITO. Post match sees no apple spit as Carlito simply gets his arm raised while out on the apron before taking off to the back. Coachman alludes to there being more to this situation which translates that the end is very near for Carlito. I see him being fed to Ric Flair and being done possibly tomorrow or maybe the week after.

Jillian Hall vs Maria
Main Event time. No singing by Jillian this week who is looking the hotter of the two divas. Someone in the crowd has a sign saying "Maria'a Future Husband....CM Who?". I guess he doesn't know that Maria and CM Punk broke up some months back. Both trade wristlocks early before Jillian sends Maria off the ropes. Maria ducks a clothesline and hits a tilt-a-whirl headscissors. Jillian reverses off the ropes and catches Maria's boot attempt before turning it into a backbreaker for a one count. Jillian repeatedly drives the back of Maria's head into the mat. Jillian sends Maria's head into the corner after Maria blocks an initial effort. Jillian kicks the gut then throws Maria down by the hair. Jillian pauses to sing before kicking Maria in the head. Both exchange forearms. Jillian throws Maria down and stretches out her arms while stepping on her back. Maria makes it back up but Jillian knees the gut. Maria manages to reverse a head ram in the corner. Jillian kicks the gut but Maria cuts off a rope whip and lands two clotheslines, an Irish whip and monkey flip. Maria clotheslines Jillian back into the corner then hits a bronco buster. Maria lifts Jillian up by the feet then drops her back first to the mat for a nearfall. Maria goes for a running bulldog but Jillian counters into a bad looking full nelson frontal slam for the 1-2-3. Short but sloppy. On the bright side Maria is improving as she continues her training and isn't half as bad as she used to be. Here is Your Winner: JILLIAN HALL. Post match, Jillian raises her arms then leaves up the ramp as Maria looks on. The commentators hype up Beth Phoenix vs Mickie James at Armageddon. Grisham says Jillian will be wanting the winner of that match. I think we'll get Mickie vs Jillian tomorrow on Raw.

Grisham thanks us for watching to end the show. A clean sweep for the heels who all win this week.

Best Match: Paul London vs Charlie Haas.
Worst Match: Jillian Hall vs Maria.
Show Verdict: Thumbs up. I'd rather see people like Haas and London in long Heat matches than two minute rush jobs on Raw.

I'll see you back here next week. Until then have a good week. Shaun.
