-- According to sources from WWE's production studio, the company's switch over to high definition programming is a massive undertaking and will mean a lot more work for the staff. We reported here last week that WWE is spending over $20 million in new equipment to become "HD ready". WWE will likley need to hire some people to help launch the process.
-- Last week, WWE officials had all of their developmental talents at OVW and FCW take photos and video explaining who they were, when they were signed and how long they had been in the WWE developmental system. This is part of a new process to track the progress and improvement of those in the developmental system. The talent will get "report cards" to inform them of their progress. According to Mike Johnson (PWInsider), some workers were worried that the company was looking to monitor who had been signed the longest as a way to look at making cuts. After new year's is typically when WWE lets a few guys go.
