The Orlando Sentinel has a new article online today hyping all of the wrestling events that are scheduled for WrestleMania weekend next weekend in Orlando, Florida. Below are quotes from the article from TNA President Dixie Carter, Kurt Angle, Ring of Honor owner Cory Silkin, and Gabe Sapolsky.
"I'm real excited about it from the fact that WWE is coming to our home in Orlando, and I love the fact that we're able to tape our shows and do the live show for the first time," Dixie Carter told the newspaper.
Kurt Angle said, "TNA is now going to be a competitor of the WWE. I think Vince McMahon knows that."
Ring of Honor owner Cory Silken said, "One thing that we've definitely done is we make this a sport - it's pro wrestling that I used to like and people used to like... It's not all showbiz; it's not all story lines. It's action-packed. If you like wrestling just a little bit, come see us because you will enjoy what we are doing."
"No one wants to go to Orlando and have the fans say that was the worst show out of all the groups that run there," ROH booker Gabe Sapolsky said. "Everyone wants to go to Orlando and say that was the best show, the show of the weekend. That's bragging rights, and that's going to push everyone to put on better shows. It's a really exciting situation."
