RAW Report 4/14/08 London

This RAW in London starts with Regal out back sipping tea. The fans go wild and chant his name. JBL comes in and they glare. JBL says he doesn’t care that they’re in Regal’s country or that he’s facing Orton. What he cares about is Cena and HHH in his title match at Backlash. They had their chance, now his one on one title match has become a fatal four way.
Regal says he’s glad it did because it saved him charging people twice to see two great matches. He asks JBL what he wants.
JBL says he wants a private plane home out of this hell hole.
Regal says he’s been too accommodating. It’s time for him to Show some authority. JBL’s not going home, he’ll be facing HHH tonight.

Music and pyro.

HBK comes out to the ring. He’s in a white dress shirt, jeans and his cowboy hat and looking less upset than he has since WM. The fans love him on the other side of the pond. Huge “HBK” chants. He says the last thing he wanted to do is go out there and once again address the issue between him and Batista. ‘Boos’ from the fans. He recaps - Flair demanded he be the man to face him at WM. They had the match of the ages. He beat him, they hugged and it was over. Everyone he knows has accepted that except Batista. ‘Boos’ for Batista. He says last week they got to what’s really bugging Batista and it’s HBK. He thinks HBK’s held people down and backstabbed his way to success. In 1998 he was told by doctors never to wrestle again. In 2002 he astounded people by coming back and wrestling to this day. He’s done it because he loves this job and it’s what he’s built to do. He might not be proud of all of his actions, but he’s sick of apologizing for his past. Batista says the only reason HBK retired Flair was to boost his ego and that’s not true. But what will boost his ego is to kick Batista’s teeth down his throat.
“Wooooooo” Everyone thinks Flair’s coming out to the ring, that he’s there, even HBK. When Y2J comes out he gets huge heat from the fans.
Y2J says he’s sorry he misled HBK with the music, but he had to prove a point that they’ll never hear that music again due to HBK. He’s done soma analysis since last week’s Highlight Reel and decided HBK’s a phony. Batista thinks he’s a phony. Batista thinks HBK enjoyed retiring Flair, thrived on it. Y2J says he knows HBK apologized, but he knows HBK thrived on screwing Bret Hart. In screwing Marty Jannetty. If he admitted it Batista would back down. But in Y2J’s unbiased opinion he thinks Batista is being irrational about Flair being gone, but not about how he feels about HBK taking Flair out. Y2J says he wouldn’t be surprised if HBK put the retirement stipulation in Vince’s ear. Y2J tells HBK to admit it.
HBK hits sweet chin music on Y2J. HBK then says he admits that what he did very good.
Video replay - a couple times - of the sweet chin music.
