RAW this week starts with a picture of Killer Kowalski, his birth and death dates and RIP (my heart goes out to his family at such a sad time, “Killer” will be missed).
- Commercial (The US Open went straight to the memorial for Kowalski without a commercial, so they threw on in - just one!)
Orton slowly comes out to the ring without any pyro. He gets huge heat, but a little pop from his hometown. He says he’s still injured. He didn’t want to come back until he was 100% but he feels a brand is only as strong as its champs. When he was champ RAW was the top, now it’s a joke. He rips on Beth for being a lovesick teenager. He tells her it’s not 90210 and she’s embarrassing herself. She’s in love with the weakest IC Champion ever, Santino. Even with a broken clavicle he (Orton) can beat Santino. And the team that calls themselves Priceless, they’re worthless. If someone stole his belt he hunt them down and beat them to a pulp to get his belt back. But the worst is the guy running around disgracing the World Heavyweight Championship. When Orton first won the World Title, Punk was wrestling in no name towns. Punk then won a little title and climbed the ladder to be where he is now. Orton would love to challenge Punk tonight and take his title back, but Orton’s not medically cleared. But when he is, and it won’t be long, he will challenge him and reclaim this show. He will make everyone forget about the sorry mess that is Punk.
Punks music and he comes out to huge pop. Punk gets in the ring and right in Orton’s face. “CM PUNK” chants. Punk says he got a headache listening to Orton talk. He liked the history lesson, even if it’s wrong. Not everyone has granddaddy and daddy to usher him into the WWE. It doesn’t matter how it happened, but punks champion. He says he doesn’t drink or smoke. He also doesn’t get on his motorcycle in the middle of the night and tries to pop a wheelie only to re-injure himself (Orton looks pissed, but it seems like the truth might finally be coming out).
He went from the age of Orton to a complete afterthought. He doesn’t blame Orton for all he’s said because in Orton’s shoes he’d be jealous too.
Orton is incensed with that and start to argue.
Punk says he’d like to do this now but he has a Battle Royale to win tonight and a Scramble to win on Sunday. The way Punk sees it there one person in the ring who’s pathetic and it’s not Punk.
Orton says this conversation will have to continue at a later time. Orton then leaves the ring.
Punk says they’ll talk later, but Punk’s going to do everything to hold onto the title so Orton can see what he’s all about and...
JBL’s music and he comes out to the ring looking royally pissed off (huge JBL signs up front). JBL gets in the ring and tells Punk fairytales are not real. In six days it’s going to strike midnight Cinderella. There’s an 80% chance Punk will lose the title. JBL thinks the odds are higher. One move, one clothesline from hell and it’s JBL’s. Then JBL will walk out champion. As much as JBL hopes it’s him, but it could be any of the other guys in the match.
Kane’s music and fire. He comes stalking out to the ring. Kane gets in JBL’s face says he’s been to hell and didn’t see his clothesline anywhere. But he did see Rey there. Adamle can make all the announcements he wants but Rey won’t be at Unforgiven or there tonight. Kane made sure of it. That means there’s one less person in the Scramble. That means Kane’s one step closer to...
Batista’s music and out he comes to huge pop. Batista rips the mic out of JBL’s hand he looks around then spears Kane. Then he spears JBL. He stops, stares at Punk, then spears him. Batista leaves the ring to huge pop.

A commercial/promo about SD! moving to MyNetwork TV.
Cena comes out to the ring? Nope it’s Charlie Haas as Cena. He runs around and bounces just like Cena. He rips of his hat and shirt, sending both into the crowd. Video of Haas as Carlito last week. Haas grabs a mic and says that Cena might be out of action but it’s okay because the Haas is here and you can’t see me! Kofi comes out to the ring all bouncy and happy but confused about Haas being dressed and acting like Cena.
They lock up then run the ropes. Monkey flip to Haas. Haas takes him down but when he goes for the five knuckle shuffle he gets kicked in the head by a prone Kofi. Cross body by Kofi. Kofi then hits his standing double leg drop. Haas hits Kofi in the jaw hard. Haas goes for the FU but Kofi reverses it and takes him down. They get screwed up somehow and end up in the ropes. Kofi then takes Haas down for three.
- Winner: Kofi
Kofi celebrates in the ring.

Cody and Ted are out back talking to Orton. Orton asks if Cody remembers when they first met and he slapped Dusty in the face?
Cody says he does.
Orton bitch slaps him Orton says they’re the most talented tag team in the locker room but they let Cena beat them two on one. So until they step up Orton will stand behind his words.
Tiffany and Teddy are in talking to Adamle. They talk about the Scrambles. Adamle makes an off color remark about sick kids, but it cut off when Kane comes in.
Kane asks why Mike would lie by saying Rey will be back.
Adamle said he was sending out a message that they want and need Rey on RAW. He hopes Rey will show up.
Kane says Rey’s body’s massacred and his soul demolished, but Mike can keep hoping.
Matt Hardy comes down to the ring for the ECW Battle Royale. Chavito is next. Finlay follows with Horny in tow.
- Commercial
Miz comes out the ring next. Mark Henry comes out last with Tony Atlas in tow.
Henry glares around the ring at everyone. Everyone surrounds Henry and attacks him. They beat him down until he tosses them all off. Matt and Miz start to work over Henry and hit a double DDT on him. Finlay scoops Chavito up and drops him back first onto Henry. Miz tries to eliminate Finlay, but Finlay hits the apron. Side effect on Miz. Finlay and Matt clothesline each other. Chavito and Miz are about to work together and attack Matt and Finlay, but Henry eliminates them both. Henry works over Matt and Finlay through “Hardy” chants. Matt starts to gain control over Henry and Finlay joins in to help Matt. They get Henry off his feet on the top rope, but Henry fights back and eliminates Finlay. Matt keeps working on Henry through more “Hardy” chants. Henry easily picks Matt up and drops him over the side and out.
- Winner: Mark Henry
Atlas takes off his jacket and enters the ring to celebrate with Henry.

Y2J and Cade are out back talking about the contract with a ‘lawyer’.
Jamie Noble is in the ring, Layla is outside the ring looking bored. Regal comes out to face Jamie.
They lock up but Jamie’s backed into a corner with a bunch of knees to his gut. Regal tosses Jamie across the ring. Full nelson on Jamie. Jamie stomps on Regal’s foot to get out. Regal covers for two, Jamie reverses for two. A hard punch drops Jamie. Jamie gets whipped then Regal stomps him down in the corner. A horrible flip slam to Jamie. Regal drags Jamie to his feet, but Jamie somehow rolls Regal up for three.
- Winner: Jamie Noble
Jamie rushes to Layla who actually looks a little impressed. He follows her from ringside like a puppy dog.
Out back Kelly, in green camo, talks to Mickie who’s wearing this quite daring cut-out halter.
- Commercial
Jillian is in the ring in all black singing (the pain!). Katie stands off to the side in a blue and black two piece outfit shaking her head. Mickie comes bouncing out. Kelly’s out next. Beth comes out in her black halter jumper to join the heels. Beth says she wants Orton to take a close look at this. She’s the Glamazon, the most beautiful and talented Diva to step foot in the ring. There’s no one who can match her poser. There’s no one who can.... Candice comes out in black laced up pants and a black boob top with studs.
Kelly starts with Katie. Katie gets a hammer lock on Kelly and covers for two. Katie flips Kelly who lands on her feet. Standing drop kick to Katie’s gut. Mickie tags in and takes Katie down hard. Mickie covers for two. Mickie gets slammed into the heel corner and Jillian tags in. A kick to Jillian’s face, then again. But Beth and Jillian double team Mickie, Beth from outside. Beth tags in and suplexes Mickie for two. “Mickie” chants. Katie tags in and kicks Mickie in the gut while Beth holds her. Katie chokes Mickie on the second rope. Forearms to Mickie’s upper back. Mickie gets whipped but Mickie moves and takes Katie down. Both are down. Beth tags in and grabs Mickie’s ankle but Mickie’s able to tag out. Candy tags in and goes for head scissors but her legs never make it around Beth’s neck. Beth pulls it off somehow. Candy takes out the two other heels on the apron. She climbs the heels corner and the heels try to stop her but she kicks them both down. Candy hits a cross body on Beth but Beth rolls through to cover Candy for two. Beth goes for another move but Candy reverses it to cover for three.
- Winners: Candy, Kelly & Mickie
They celebrate their win on the ramp, Candy looks about ready to cry.

Santino comes out to the ring. He says he hopes Orton is satisfied. He insulted his girlfriend and him. He has a ‘Honk-A-Meter’. The Honky Tonk Man was IC Champ for 64 weeks. Santino has been IC Champ for two weeks. Just 62 more weeks and he’ll be the best of all time! D-Lo comes down to the ring.
Santino kicks D-Lo in the gut and backs him into a corner. Shoulders to D-Lo’s gut in the corner. D-Lo gains control and covers Santino for two. D-Lo grabs the ropes sending Santino flying when he tries to hit a dropkick to mid-air. D-Lo misses a frog splash and Santino covers for three.

Miz and Morrison meet them at the bottom of the ramp and talk smack before attacking them. Cody and Ted show up and blind side them. Ted hits Shad over the head with one belt. In the ring Cody hits a DDT onto the belt on JTG. The fans give them huge heat over this all. Ted and Cody hold their gold high.

The fans are pumped for Rey.

Video of Y2J hitting HBK’s wife at SS.
The contract table is set up in the ring. Y2J is out to the ring first in a suit and tie looking quite cocky. King is in the ring. He said he was asked by Adamle to watch over the contract signing. It’s an Unsanctioned Match which means there’s no rules and WWE can’t get in trouble for anything that might happen. He welcomes HBK to the ring. HBK comes out looking pissed. Y2J sits in a chair staring off into the crowd and not looking at HBK. HBK takes off his cowboy hat and sits.
King says that it doesn’t matter that security is around the ring. If they touch each other at all tonight the match at Unforgiven will be called off.
Y2J slides it to himself. HUGE “HBK” chants. Y2J signs. HBK then takes it and signs. “Jericho sucks” chants.
King thanks them but Y2J says it’s enough. Y2J asks why all the security. Does he think he needs it?
HBK says it’s not his security. If it was HBK’s way it would be the two fo them.
Y2J says he wants to talk to HBK one on one.
HBK says they can leave.
Y2J tells them all to leave including King. He says he followed HBK’s advice. At SS before he hit inadvertently HBK’s wife. He sat his family down and told them he’d never be a lying, cheating SOB like HBK. Then he forbade his family to watch. But if he thinks Y2J is going to go easy on him because of what happened to his little wife, he’s not. He’s going to show people what happens to people who live their lives like he did. Remember how he said to flair at WM that he was putting him out of his misery, well Y2J is going to do the same but not apologize for it when he’s doing it. Then when he’s at home watching, broken and forgotten, the only person he can blame is himself.
HBK says he takes comfort in knowing his wife and children won’t be watching, his won’t either. But someday he’ll tell his kids about this, how he was this close to walking away. While it’s better to turn the other cheek, sometimes you have to look evil in the eye. Pain is going to rain down on Y2J at Unforgiven. He’ll never apologize for who he is or the life he lived. Unforgiven is an appropriate name as he’ll never forgive Y2J for what he’s done to him. He just hopes someday God will forgive him for what he’s going to do to Y2J.
They’re about nose to nose over the table. Y2J backs up and stands. HBK stands and removes his jacket. HBK turns and attacks Cade who was about to attack him from behind. HBK cases Cade as he’s trying to get away. HBK somehow falls from the ring through the bottom and second rope. He lands on his chin, pushing his head back and to the side hard (this might be where he got injured). Cade’s head is hanging off the apron and HBK kicks him in the head hard. He looks like he didn’t hold back at all in that kick as if he knew he had hurt himself and was frustrated. HBK re-enters the ring, glares at Y2J and attacks Cade some more. Y2J just glares from high up the ramp.
