-- TMZ.com did a post yesterday morning acknowledging the Internet report on Coca-Cola backing away from talks with Ric Flair after seeing a photo of him with a black eye on their site a few weeks ago (following a parking lot scuffle involving his daughter's boyfriend). According to TMZ, Flair's people are saying that he never had endorsement deal with Coca-Cola. Although, the original report was that he was simply in talks with the soda company. TMZ pokes fun at the situation by posting a photoshopped photo of him in a "TMZ" wrestling ring with a can of Coke in the background, and that may he should do a concealer ad for Revlon. {Flairwell Coca-Cola}

"HERE IS A WARNING --- Greg Valentine and Brutus Beefcake were the RUDEST SOBS we have ever seen in Connersville. My son took his wrestling belt up there to have the two sign it. They wanted to sign it in black sharpie and my son had a silver sharpie sp their signatures could be seen...Valentine said he doesn't sign in silver sharpie and THREW the belt onto the table. Aaron said they didn't greet anyone, they snatched articles to be signed by them out of the people's hands and were out and out rude b*****ds....THANK GOD I didn't get the wrestling show put together cause they showed up 5 HOURS LATE!I will be posting this all over the internet cause YES I AM PISSED OFF! ANOTHER black eye by some has beens!"
-- Ring of Honor has postponed two shows scheduled in Florida next month for undisclosed reasons. They posted the following on their website: "The 10/10 Coral Springs and 10/11 Orlando events have been postponed and will be rescheduled for early 2009. All tickets purchased for these events will be honored on the new dates. We hope to have a new dates announced next week. Sorry for any inconvenience. Thank you for your support."
