As Michael reported earlier tonight, Rob Van Dam is scheduled to appear during tonight's Royal Rumble match. However, RVD is not returning for good.
Van Dam has not re-signed with WWE, according to one source. His appearance at tonight's Royal Rumble will be merely be a one-off appearance.
Additionally, RVD was seen greeting fans outside the arena this morning. He was telling fans he'd be a surprise entrant in tonight's Rumble match.
