Mayweather Update: House "Ransacked" By Police, Rolls Royce Searched

As reported earlier, the home of boxing champ Floyd Mayweather Jr. was searched by Las Vegas Metro police this morning. Mayweather's Rolls Royce was seen leaving the scene of a shooting that took place late Sunday night at the Crystal Palace Skating Center.

TMZ.com spoke to Floyd Mayweather Sr., who says he spoke to his son today. Floyd Jr. told his father that police "ransacked" his home looking for a gun but didn't find anything. Floyd Jr. said he takes his kids to that skating rink often on Sundays and confirmed that police were talking to him because his car was seen there at the time of the shooting.

The Associated Press has also issued a statement that included some new details. According to Lt. Patrick Charoen, police obtained a warrant to search Mayweather's Rolls Royce after a witness spotted it leaving the skating center right after the shooting. Lt. Charoen says no one was hurt in the shooting, but a vehicle was hit with several bullets. Mayweather isn't named as a suspect, as witnesses only identified his vehicle.

As of this writing, there are no changes to the plan for Floyd Mayweather Jr. to serve as the special guest host of tonight's WWE Raw.
