What You Didn't See On RAW: Dark Match Main Event & Live Notes

Thanks to reader Calen Shaw for sending in this live report of what happened after last night's iMPACT! went off the air

The Superstars taping got the crowd really warmed up as the triple threat main event was a real hit with the fans. People absolutely loved Christian, one of the bigger pops of the night.

As for the start of the show, the opening segment with Undertaker and Shawn went off really well, the crowd was really mixed between cheering and jeering both of them. One second they would cheer for Taker, the next minute they would jeer him. It went back and forth during the entire opening segment.

The women's match was pretty dead, it's unfortunate as they worked really hard.

The Tag match with Show/Miz and Morrison/RTruth was disappointing as it didnt last long, but Truth and Morrison are majorly over. R Truth is really over with the fans, pairing him up with Morrison is really good move.

Handicap match was up next and ended up being a really good bout. The crowd seemed to be still getting used to Orton as his reaction was very mixed. I know the second that I was in was cheering for him hardcore. Legacy however, looked really good in the ring together, and I can only guess how much them pulling off a win over Orton will help their reputation.

Money in the bank match was next, and I must say, they're under utilizing Evan Bourne. The fans were REALLY over for him, a lot of people were happy to see him advance into the Money In The Bank match. When jumped off the top rope about a dozen people behind me yelled "Fly Bourne, Fly!" It was fantastic!

Now for the main event. Crowd went ABSOLUTELY CRAZY for John Cena. It doesn't matter what you hear on television crowd wise, I practically went deaf from all the cheers in my area. A lot of people were a bit disappointed in the match when McMahon made it a gauntlet match.

There were a few pops when John got some offense in, but it pretty much killed the crowd. Huge pop when Kofi came in and took the offensive to Batista towards the end, only to get squashed just as quickly. The pin on John grabbed the most heat out of anything during the night, a lot of people were NOT happy.

After the show went off the air, Sheamus charged the ring and began to assault Cena, but only long enough for Triple H to charge the ring and clear it of both Batista and Sheamus. But wait! That wasn't all. Hunter grabbed a mic and asked John if he had enough left for a match and John welcomed it.

The match started quickly and the crowd was on its feet the entire time. The match was evenly fought with Cena taking a lot of the punishment. He then got the hot tag to Hunter and Hunter cleaned house. A little more mayhem ensued, Batista got the FU from Cena, Hunter hit the Pedigree on Sheamus and sent the fans home happy.

Absolutely terrific show! Was a lot of fun to attend and I can't wait for the next show that comes our way, I'll definitely try and make it 3 for 3 when it comes to attending shows here in Portland.
