This week's RAW starts with Nexus in the ring and huge heat from the fans. Wade steps forward, gets more heat and soaks it in. He says it's fitting. More heat. How fitting that tonight's RAW is from this nation's capitol, the site of so many historic rallies and groundbreaking speeches. Last week he said Nexus would do something that would be talked about forever. They systematically destroyed a WWE institution - Taker. Video of them taking apart Taker.
Otunga says that right there should put to rest doubts about Nexus and their weakness. They're the new phenoms of WWE. They're it! They trimmed the fat with Young, lost Skip to injury and still managed to have the greatest night of their lives.
Tarver grabs a mic and asked if anyone has done anything unprecedented to Taker? No. if they did, they'd sit back and enjoy it for the rest of their lives. Not them, later in the show they took out five of RAW's top Superstars. Heat from the fans. Jericho and Edge were so scared they took themselves out of the match because they wanted nothing to do with Nexus.
Slater stepped up and said what happened next was he pinned the WWE Champion. He said it again, he pinned our Champion. He doesn't think the people in the cheap seats heard him. He did it! Heath Slater!
Gabriel stepped up and told Slater to calm down. Slater was still thrilled. Gabriel said he's done something even more impressive. Who can say they delivered their finisher to Taker and Cena in the same night. He nailed Taker with a 450, then later he did this. Video of Gabriel nailing Cena with the 450 and pinning him for three. Gabriel was all smiles. He says it's like the third time, or fourth. Each time it gets more and more satisfying. Cena can see him slamming down on his lifeless body over, over and over again.
Wade then takes the mic and says he personaly de-venom-ized the Viper. He pinned Orton. That's just a taste of what's to come in RAW. In two week's time, in the 6 Pack Challenge, he will beat Orton, Cena, Sheamus, Jericho and Edge to bring the WWE Championship back home to the Nexus. It will be historic, groundbreaking, will be everything he said -
Orton's music and he comes out with an evil smirk on his mug. Orton says what he took away from last week was the fact that he took out two of Nexus in less than 30 seconds, but Wade won't roll footage on that, will he? Don't worry, Orton will just do it again. He doesn't care who he has to pin at Night of Champions to win the Title, but rest assured, Wade Barrett, he will make it his business to hit him with an RKO. Wade says Randy's real tough. If he's so tough, why not come to the ring right now and give him an RKO? Orton slowly starts heading for the ring.
Ding-Ding! Cole gets heat for stepping up to read the email. "Last week was indeed an historic night for Nexus, as a unit. I think we'll find out how some of the members fare individually. Tonight, for the first time ever, the master of the 450 splash, the South African Sensation, Justin Gabriel will face John Cena. In addition, Randy Orton, you won't have to wait until the Night of Champions to see if you can hit an RKO on Wade Barrett. Tonight, the former bare knuckle Champion and the fearless leader of Nexus, Wade Barrett will go one on one with Randy Orton. Gentlemen, one more thing, to ensure both matches are fair, Nexus is banned from ringside tonight!"

To his feet, head held low, he leaves the ring only to sit on the steps and looks about to cry. He's bleeding from the mouth - blood on his teeth - then gets up and leaves to some pop from the fans, some heat too. He goes up the ramp to chants of "Y2J".

Melina out to the ring, strap held high, beautiful smile on her face, purple/blue and gold outfit on and he normal split entrance. On the stage Fox informs her she won't be competing at Night of Champions. If anyone will be the Un - Defined Champion of Divas because she's more talented, more beautiful and has more followers on Twitter than Melina and Lay-Cool combined. We will be seeing her at Night of Champions, but not as a lumberjill, but as the most fierce Divas Champion in history. (That whole thing was really robotically delivered and yes, she did say un - defined with a huge space in there as she obviously forgot what she was supposed to be saying. Her face had no character or change to it the whole time, she delivered the whole thing in monosyllabic bits that could have better been enunciated by Hal! Melina was laughing through the whole thing and had to be laughing at how bad Fox screwed the whole thing up!)

Miz in the ring with his curtain covering something. He introduces himself. He says his name is Mike Mizanin and he has no right to be there. That's what they told him six years ago. He was the lowest form of life, a reality TV star. A picture of Miz on Real World. He had to start on Tough Enough. A picture of Miz on Tough Enough. Miz said he was a nice looking guy, the fans don't agree. As a competitor on Tough Enough he started hearing the voices of wrestlers, legends and fans - all telling him to go back to MTV. He refused to leave, refused to cave into the pressure. He moves on, did whatever he had to. He became the host of SD! Picture of him being SD!'s host. The voices got louder. Rather than asking him to leave, they told him to leave. Miz has no talent, doesn't belong. Each and everyone one of us would have left. He didn't. he stuck around and formed a tag team with Morrison. He thought he'd made it, but no. Despite becoming Tag Team Champions, everyone said Morrison was the star and Miz was the sidekick. Said he was riding Morrison's coattails if they spilt Miz would vanish. They did split and what happened? Miz became the US Champion. We all called it a fluke and Miz wouldn't rise to the next level. Then what happened? He won MITB! He punched in his ticket to becoming a WWE Champion. The man who didn't belong, was shunned, was ostracized can be the top of the company. Which leads him to this - drum roll please. He removes the curtain to show his cover to the WWE Magazine. We might wonder why this is such a big deal? As a child he bought every issue. He'd put them in his bedroom and dream of getting the cover of this magazine. Now he wants to hear it from each and every person in this arena. He wants them to get up and do what they should have done a long time ago, admit they're wrong. Each and every single one of them. He's the poster child! Not Cena, not Orton, Miz! More heat. He says the fans can't deny it, can't hide from it, don't have any choice to admit we're wrong because he's the Miz and he's earned the right to say he's the Miz and he's awesome! (My daughter told me about Miz on Real World. I thought she was insane. Miz has proven my wrestling theories wrong and my little girl has impressed me by telling this wrestling fanatic about this funny looking kid who's managed to become a HUGE star.)
Daniel Bryan comes out cutting Miz off. Cole really rips on Bryan coming out to the ring. Bryan has a huge smile. He comes out and introduces himself to Miz. Bryan says he's out there to congratulate Miz. No one thought Bryan would make it either. Miz says he didn't make it. Bryan says touché, touché, Miz is right. Bryan says he came out to generic Rock music even he can't recognize. He doesn't have Miz style. He has a $10 haircut. He has to wear his ring gear in the back so security doesn't throw him out, even then he's had to show his ID three times. If anything, he's the anti-Superstar. He does know if he faces Miz for the US Title, he can beat Miz.
Miz agrees - that Bryan paid $10 for that haircut. Laughs from the fans. Miz asks what makes Bryan worthy to go against him for the Title? Bryan says if it did happen, the WWE Magazine next month could look like this. On the tron is a mocked up cover of Bryan putting the crossface on Miz and it says 'Miz taps' across the top.
