Top TNA Star Announced For SVR, WWE Website Removes Matt Hardy's Profile

-- WWE Games announced today on Twitter that TNA wrestler Rob Van Dam will be one of the "Legends" featured in the WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2011 video game, which is set for release in the United States on Oct. 26. It was also announced that WWE Hall of Famer Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat will be a playable character in the game.

RVD is not the only current TNA star in the game as it was announced last Thursday that former WWE Diva Mickie James would be a playable character.

-- Friday's episode of SmackDown garnered a 1.87 cable rating, with 2,876,000 viewers. It is the third consecutive week in which viewership has risen.

-- The WWE website removed Matt Hardy's profile from its SmackDown Superstars section this afternoon. It was deleted altogether and not moved to the Alumni section.
