RAW this week starts with music and pyro.
Cena out to the ring, all bounce and smiles. Points to the crowd and props to certain signs, then to the ring. He says it seems as though last week's excitement has carried over to tonight. Mixed reaction for Cena, then the very loud "Cena" chants start. He asks if the fans always notice how everyone comes down, grabs a mic, then talks about last week? Well, he's going to do the exact same thing. It started off like tonight. Some glad to see him, some indifferent and that's alright. Lot of energy in the room. They were fresh off TLC, then Vickie out and the impromptu roast of Vickie, it was a party. But, alas, every party has a pooper. Off the heels of his match with Dolph, then this happened. Video of punk attacking Cena with a chair last week.
Consider the party officially pooped on. He feels he brought this up on himself. "CM Punk!" chants. Cena says he brought this on himself. In his relentless pursuit of Nexus, he accidentally spilled Punk's diet soda. He set him back $0.75, $1.25 in some vending machines. He can understand that he was so out of line, spilling his soda that Punk did this on SD last week. Video of Cena with Vickie up for the AA, but then Punk was there and nailed Cena with a chair. Cena said all zero calorie joking aside, you know how much energy it took to lift Vickie that high? Punk, he can't replace that diet soda, but he can allow Punk to air his grievances.
Someone was at the switch, but Cena played it of well when Punk's music hit. Punk, to the stage said Cena's out every Monday, he's excitable, he throws his hat at someone, everyone lives him. He gets everyone to believe he's that friendly smiling wonderful man, but Punk knows the truth. Cena's thoughtless, heartless and above all else, he's dishonest. There's millions of people word wide who'd love to think this is about his spilled diet soda, but it's not. "You suck!" chants. Cnea was fired and gave this great speech about going home to his family, being the man of his word, but he was back later that night and every night after. Proving that Cena's word is worthless. Heat for Punk.
Then there's TLC, he had Wade beaten, but then Cena pulled Wade over and dropped 15 chairs on him. He wants to know who he thought it was alright to gloat about the next night on RAW!
Cena says that's balderdash! It was 23 steel chairs! Wade and Nexus gave Cena about 5,000 beatdowns, made him their slaves and ended his career. Punk says Cena ended the career of his good friends Batista. He had Batista beaten, but then he hit an AA on him through the stage. And the lovely Vickie, Punk's surprised that she hasn't quit for all of Cena's abuse. It's not just the Batista and Wade thing, it's all the abuse to the lovely Vickie.
Cena whined back at Punk, calling him Mr. Finger-Pointer. One, Batista broke his neck. Two he came out and quit on his own. C, he picks on everyone, not just Vickie! Like Cole, he has an uncommon fetish for Beiber! And has the word Miz manscaped below his belly button. Look at Cena, he looks like the love child of the Incredible Hulk and Grimace. Then there's Punk!
Punk cut Cena off and says Cena's not funny. The fans and Cena know he's right. Punk will facilitate the change in Cena. The first two were warning attacks. Punk knows the real Cena and it will stop. "You suck!" chants grow through the arena. Cena says it doesn't sound like anything is stopping anytime soon. Punk's talking all these theories. They don't have to sit through People's Court, they have the best place to solve their issues, right here in front of the WWE Universe! Will Punk sit up there talking or will he come down there so they can do this. Punk thanks Cena for being so predictable. This won't happen on Cena's terms, but Punk's terms. Sometime tonight it will be Punk in the ring calling Cena out. If those two attacks weren't eye opening, then what will happen in the ring later will be a real eye opener. Punk wishes Cena and his fans a very Happy Ney Year! Punk salutes, laughs and stares down at Cena.

Ted DiBiase w/ Maryse Vs. Santino w/ Tamina
Ted and Maryse already in the ring. Cole says Maryse is wearing a Kim K. dress designed for Maryse. Santino comes out with Tamina in a red mini dress on his arm video of Tamina flying last week.
Santino tentative, but Ted gains control with punches then a clothesline for two. Elbow to the top of Santino's head. Chinlock on Santino. Santino runs the ropes, holding on and avoiding the drop kick. Santino rolls Ted up and somehow gets three. Santino and Tamina celebrate in the ring, then he goes outside and gets her a gift. In it is his hand, the cobra.

Ted attacks Santino from behind. Maryse on Tamina, then they land double head butts and then double cobras!
Miz talks to Riley about face JoMo tonight. Riley says he'll pin JoMo 1-2-3. Miz says that's not good enough! He needs to beat JoMo so he won't want to face Miz! Riley asks if that's what Miz will do to Lawler? Miz says he'll pick King apart, make him crawl! Suddenly JoMo's there and says if JoMo beats Riley, then he can pick the stipulation and when they'll meet. Riley said that might be fine, but what about when he (Riley) wins the match? JoMo looks at Riley and asks how many times a day people look at him and say, "Duuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuhhhhhh?" if Riley beats him, JoMo will no longer be #1 contender. Miz really likes this. Miz turns and demands to know if Riley really understand the magnitude of this match now? Riley says he does -

JoMo Vs. Riley
JoMo out in his normal, slo-mo way. King thanks the fans for tuning in last week, making it such a big week for WWE and USA. Riley out to Miz's music. Riley is still carrying around a case, but this one is silver. Miz followed Riley out. Riley poses for the fans and Miz yells at him to get his mind on the match.
They lock up. Hammer lock to Riley, but he kicks, stomps and punches free. Punches, kicks, then stomps to Riley. JoMo tries for a backbreaker, but it looked slo-mo and fake. Not sure Riley is able to bend that way making the move look really lame! Side Russian leg sweep takes Riley down for two. Miz on the apron yelling as the ref counts. Miz distracts JoMo and Riley attacks. JoMo whipped, then into a clothesline. Riley pins for two. Riley slams JoMo for two. Chinlock on JoMo on the mat. He gets up fairly quickly, then free. Riley slams JoMo back for two.
Riley chokes JoMo with a foot. JoMo whipped, then into a clothesline for two - so original. Chin/arm lock on JoMo. Miz yells from outside as he paces. JoMo to his feet, slams Riley to the mat. Blows from JoMo, then a big clothesline and a heel kick to Riley's jaw. Riley reverses a whip, but then JoMo gets a foot up. JoMo goes to bounce off the ropes, but Miz grabs him. The ref throws Miz out.
Riley rolls JoMo for a long two. Another kick to Riley's face. A knee to Riley's jaw and JoMo gets the three.
Winner - JoMo
Miz, up on the stage, looks about to cry or throw up. JoMo to King for a handshake and a hug. JoMo says that he'll be facing Miz next week in a Falls Count Anywhere Match. King loves this as Cole wants to protest every bit of it, Miz is an athlete, not an animal!

Miz goes ape shit on Riley about losing this match. How could Riley do this to him. Riley starts to yell back and Miz cut him off. Riley better do as he should in Miz's match with King.
Punk is talking to a cameraman about making sure everything goes right when he calls out Cena. It will be better than when they shove Snookie in that big ball and drop her on New Year's Eve, got it? The cameraman nods.
Bryan talking to the Bellas about Christmas. Kidd comes in with his body guard. He wonders if Bryan is a millionaire? Why else would they be all over him. In 2010 Kidd will be the new US Champion because of the best bodyguard, Jackson Andrews. Bryan should watch what Kidd does to Henry, then think about what he can do to Bryan.
Josh in to talk to Orton. He says 2010 has been impressive for Orton. At NOC he beat Sheamus to win the WWE Championship. He retained against Sheamus, but then lost when Miz cashed in. Orton says nothing against JoMo, but he hopes Miz wins so when he wins he can beat Miz. When he meets Sheamus. Josh says he's King Sheamus. Orton says that tonight his reign comes to an abrupt and painful end.

Mark Henry Vs. Tyson Kidd w/ Jackson Andrews
Henry out with a big smile on his face. Josh is out to sit in for King. Cole says there won't be much for Josh to do as it will be a slaughter. Josh agrees, King will kill Miz. Kidd out with Jackson Andrews in tow. Jackson into the ring with Kidd, but then made to leave, over the top as it's easier.
Kidd tries to attack Henry, but then head butts to Kidd followed by punches. Kidd whipped and hit’s the mat. Scoop slam to Kidd. Henry lines up to land on Kidd, but the little one moves out of his way. Kick to Henry's head, then Kidd with a front facelock on Henry. Henry throws kiss off easily. Henry rushes Kidd in a corner, but eats feet. Kidd flies, but Henry catches him and slams Kidd to the mat for three.

Henry looks out at Jackson. Jackson into the ring and Henry looks up at him as they're chest to chest. Jackson tries to attack, but he is caught and slammed to the mat as well! Henry poses as video of Henry slamming Jackson to the mat. Henry is quite pumped up and all smiles.

Miz w/ Riley Vs. Jerry 'The King' Lawler
Miz out with Riley in tow. Cole yells and screams at Riley for being a buffoon. Miz grabs a mic and says he knows the fans are all frightened by him. Orton's frightened of him. JoMo is also afraid. King needs to change his Depends diapers when Miz is around. Miz is the most must see WWE Champion. He doesn't get intimidated, he intimidates. He knows they all think he's the best brawler, the best fighter. That's not all. Nobody compares to him in the WWE. He says it over and over through the 'what's?' All the HOFers, the Lou Fez's, the Harley Race's of history don't hold a candle to Miz's talent. He tells the fans they sound like a bunch of ducks, shut up when he's talking. He's a scientific master of wrestling, he's a technical wizard of wrestling. Really? What? Really? What? Really? What? He tells the fans to shut up while he's talking. He tells everyone to email, Tweet and call everyone because he's going to beak King in honor of all the 'What' people. He's the Miz and he's awesome! Out to the ring comes King who looks rather pissed. He comes out in a WWE t-shirt and black pants. Josh says that they're at the tail end of a huge blizzard (my kids have been shoveling all day!) and King's flight was cancelled, as was so many other Superstars. He lost his luggage, but he's still ready to fight, no matter what. Cole, of course, made cry baby sounds and says King should know not to check his gear. Miz will take King apart, a slaughter. "Jerry!" chants.
Miz grabs King, takes him down, then poses. They lock up, side headlock on King. Shoulder block to King who then stares at Miz's smack talk. "Jerry!" chants. They lock up, King backed into a corner. Miz goes for a cheap shot, but King ducks and works on Miz. Three shoulder block to Miz! Miz hides in the ropes, the ref stops King. Cole says Josh likes the King in the ring so Josh can be at announce with Cole.
Drop toe hold to King, then Miz on his back with blows. Kick to King's ribs. Blows drop King to the mat. Miz chokes King in the ropes with a foot. King pulls himself up to his feet. Snap mare to King into a chinlock. Josh actually tells Cole to shut up after saying King should be calling the action, not wrestling. King to his feet, punching out until Miz slams King back by his hair. Miz stomps King, then talks smack in a big way. Josh continues to talk up King and how he won't back down to anyone. Miz chokes King in the ropes with a knee to the back of his head, then Riley takes a cheap shot from outside. Miz drops stomps from the ropes on King. King comes back with blows from on his knees, but then Miz on King with kicks, then ripping at King's face as well as talking smack. Big blows to King, then King into the top buckle padding before again choking King in the ropes. Another cheap shot from Riley outside.
Cole says Miz should just end this, but then JoMo's music hits. JoMo walks out to the ring. Running clothesline to King in the corner, but King ducks the second one. King then avoids Miz who gets caught by the ropes. Blows to Miz, then a drop kick! Then another! And a third! King pins and gets a long two. Ming gets Miz up but can't slam him. King into a corner but moves out of Miz's way! Miz hangs King up top. Miz climbs, but King kicks Miz's foot off and Miz eats the stairs. Riley on the other apron and the ref goes to him. JoMo takes Miz out with a kick to the head. The ref keeps counting. Miz gets to the apron, but the ref is at ten!
Winner - King via Count Out!
JoMo into the ring, tells Miz that you're only as good as your last match! JoMo raises King's arm high. JoMo and King smile at Riley and Miz backing up the ramp.
Backstage Sheamus is approached by Punk. Punk says Sheamus's not a self-proclaimed King. How many times has Cena treated Sheamus bad? Sheamus should watch tonight as Punk's doing all this for anyone who's taken one of Cena's little jokes and insults. Punk wishes Sheamus luck. Sheamus says he doesn't need any.

Video of King winning with JoMo's help. Cole calls it a travesty. King says after all Riley interfered, JoMo's one is nothing. Natalya's at announce in a very low cut black dress.
Melina & Fox Vs. Gail Kim & Eve
Melina in black, Fox in gold are already in the ring. Eve and Kim out in teal. Video of Melina winning last week, then attacking Natalya. Melina glares over at Natalya.
Fox on Eve very hard, but Eve rolls over Fox's back, but her standing moonsault on Fox doesn't go well as Fox gets her knees up. Eve into the heel corner, Melina tags in. They double team, then Melina pins for two. Melina whips Eve, then works her over in the corner. A big kick to Melina and both are down. Kim tags in and clotheslines Melina, then a drop kick. Full body to Melina gut in a corner, then a missile dropkick to Melina for two. Melina fights back with a huge kick, then her screaming leg drop for three.
Winners - Melina & Fox
Natalya into the ring, Melina looks like she's going to fight. She talks to Natalya and offers a hand to shake. They do, but then Melina's look turns evil and she swings. Natalya blocks and drops Melina.
Backstage Punk's with two trainers. He tells them he needs them to be alert, sharp as a tack. Get the EMTs ready. It's not Punk's responsibility of what happens to Cena. It's all on the shoulders of Cena's fans in the WWE Universe.

Zack Ryder Vs. Daniel Bryan w/ The Bellas
Side headlock on Bryan as we come into this match already in progress. Shoulder block to Bryan. Hip tosses to Bryan, but then he eats a big boot in a corner. Ryder fights back with a couple running big boots to Bryan sitting in a corner for two. Neck breaker to Bryan for two. Ryder tries for another neck breaker, but can't execute. Bryan locks on his LaBell lock for three.

The Bellas in to celebrate with Bryan, but then -
Ding-Ding! Cole gets huge heat, of course! And I quote, "I can only hope that everyone across the WWE Universe has enjoyed the holidays. I vow as the GM that this coming year will be the best in the history of Monday night RAW! Happy New Year to the-"
Miz is behind King, chinlock on with one arm, punches to King's skull with the other! Miz pulls King back and continues punching on King through huge verbal abuse from the fans. King pulled up and slammed into the barrier right next to announce. "You suck!; chants from the fans right there. King is then slammed down on announce. Miz pulls King up, talks smack and slams him into the stairs. Heat from the fans grows even louder. Miz pulls King up, talks even more smack, then hits his SCF onto the floor. About two guys chant, "This is awesome!" as the rest boo and call out nastiness to Miz. Miz backs around announce, sucking up the heat, enjoying every moment of it.

Video of the attack on King. Cole says there's no way to condone this. Josh is back at announce and Cole can't condone what Miz has done. Josh says Cole is feigning sympathy.
King Sheamus Vs. Randy Orton
Sheamus out to the ring in his knew garb. This crown is gold, no where near as cool as the green leather one he wore his first RAW after he won KOTR. Orton out to face him with some serious pop. Orton poses, but peers over his shoulders at Sheamus.
They lock up through "RKO" chants. Orton backed into a corner. Sheamus on Orton with cheap blows. Orton turns it around and punches on Sheamus. Sheamus then turns it around and blows on him. Upper cuts to Sheamus, but then Orton face first to the buckle padding. Sheamus stomps Orton down, but Orton back with a fez press and stomping on Sheamus. Orton tries to drop a knee but Sheamus moves. Sheamus drops a bunch of knees, then locks his chin hold onto Orton. Orton free with blows. Sheamus grabs Orton, Orton reverses and clotheslines Sheamus for two. Orton drops his knee for two.
Sheamus kicks at Orton's knee, then chokes Orton under the ropes with a foot. Sheamus then back choking Orton with a knee. Shoulder blows to Orton in a corner. Sheamus rips at Orton's face, but Orton fights back with a clothesline out of a corner. Orton sets Sheamus up for that DDT, but Sheamus into the ring. Sheamus rushes Orton who pulls the top rope down sending Sheamus outside. Upper cut to Orton, but then he's slammed back into the post. Seems as though his head hit hard. Sheamus rolls Orton into the ring. Sheamus on the apron and comes over the top with a huge shoulder block.

Sheamus with a chin hold on Orton. Orton's back is bleeding a tiny bit, but no one out with a towel! Orton to his feet, tries to get free. Head butts to Sheamus, but Sheamus gets Orton up for a big power slam. Sheamus only gets two from it. "RKO" chants from a small group of kids. Sheamus chokes Orton in a corner. Orton out of the corner with a blow, then another, but Sheamus with a blow to Orton's gut drops him. Sheamus from behind with forearms to Orton's chest for two.
Sheamus with that chinlock on Orton, but Orton up and whipped, but side steps Sheamus who goes shoulder first to the post. Sheamus, on the apron, eats the top buckle. Orton climbs, bringing Sheamus with him and hit’s a huge superplex for a long two. They stagger each other with blows and kicks, both continue swinging. Orton hit’s a couple of great clotheslines, then that sick scoop slam. Orton rushes Sheamus but eats a foot. Angle slam to Sheamus for another long two.
Sheamus telegraphs and is kicked for it, but Sheamus back with the Irish curse back breaker for two. They both dodge each other until Sheamus hit’s a clothesline and they're both down. Sheamus up and poses, but gets heat. He motions for the high cross. Sheamus pulls Orton up, but Orton slides out and hits his backbreaker! Orton pounds the mat, but Sheamus rolls to the apron. Shoulder to Orton's gut. Sheamus goes for the over the top shoulder block, but Orton catches him with the RKO for three.

Cena comes out to the ring. I thought punk was going to be calling Cena out? Cena into the ring and throws his hat from the ring, then his shirt. Josh is as confused as I about Punk calling him out. Cena says earlier Punk, who Cena calls CM Sucks, was going to call him. Surprise, Cena showed up early. You want some? Come get some! Punk's music, but no Punk. Cena looks around and says that's the big surprise. This is the playing CM Suck's music, but no CM Sucks. So he's going to find CM Sucks.
But then Nexus' music. Otunga leads Slater, Gabriel, Husky and McGillicutty to the ring. Otunga into the ring and says this isn't what Cena thinks. Two weeks ago Cena assaulted him with a steel chair. He watched Cena take out Wade and the rest of Nexus. The thing is, it's exactly what Cena said he'd do. So Otunga made a decision, Nexus is under new management now. He doesn't want to have a conflict with Cena. Why can't they get along. Let's start the new year off right. He wants to offer Cena a truce. Otunga extends his hand. Cena takes Otunga's mic.
Cena says he knows why they did what they did to Cena. If he thought that one word Otunga was speaking was genuine, he'd shake his hand. You know why he got to each of them? He studied each of them and Otunga is nothing but a backstabbing, slimy worm of a man. Cena doesn't trust him and there will be no moving forward. He has two options, turn around and move backward or throw hands and see what happens.
Otunga leaves the ring, talks to the rest of Nexus. He tells them he tried. They head up the ramp, but not far as Otunga turns, tells them to go, go, go. They rush the ring and attack Cena. They gets him stomped down then Slater hit’s a very interesting move that slams Cena down. Swinging neck breaker from McGillicutty. Slater and McGillicutty line Cena up and Husky back splashes Cena. The they slide Cena over and Gabriel climbs. His newly dyed back hair makes him look more malevolent as he smirks to the camera before his 450 splash on Cena. Nexus then raises their arms over Cena's prone body. Nexus' music plays and they leave the ring.
Part way up the ramp Punk's music plays. They split for Punk to go through. Punk into the ring and a GTS on Cena. Huge heat for Punk from the fans and announce. Punk leaves the ring, grabs a chair, then back in. Punk rears back, about to nail Cena with the chair, but then stops. Punk sets up the chair and sits. Punk looks down at Cena, spread eagle on the mat. He reaches down, picks up a Nexus arm band and then slides it up his arm. "CM Punk!" chants through some males in the stands. Punk raises a fist to Nexus. They all, except Gabriel raise their fists. Finally Gabriel joins the rest, six fists in unity. Punk beams up at his new (or not so new?) faction.
