- Late night television host Jimmy Fallon's production company, Holiday Road, recently pitched a pro wrestling-themed sitcom to NBC. The show, tentatively called Slammed, is written by one of Fallon's writers and takes place behind-the-scenes at a pro wrestling promotion.
- NXT Champion Seth Rollins and Cody Rhodes have been feuding via social media this week. After Rollins took offense to The Miz calling Cody the "Future of WWE" on RAW, the second generation superstar issued a challenge to Rollins at the upcoming NXT show from Fort Pierce, Florida on Friday, September 14th.
