At Thursday night’s WWE SmackDown tapings from Houston, Texas, a 3-way match was held to determine the #1 contender to Alberto Del Rio's World Heavyweight championship.
Rob Van Dam, Randy Orton & Christian squared off to determine who will get a shot at the World Heavyweight championship at SummerSlam.
After a hard fought battle, it was Christian who came out on top.
The match will air on next Friday's (August 2nd) episode of WWE SmackDown on Syfy.
