Hype for Rob Van Dam, Big Show, and Marky Henry vs. The Shield, and Daniel Bryan vs. Wade Barrett in a No Disqualification match is shown.
Show starts with the Wyatt Family coming to the ring. A recap is shown showing the feud between Kane and the Wyatt Family. At Summerslam, it will be Kane vs. Bray Wyatt in a Ring of Fire. The Wyatt Family is in the ring. Bray is in his rocking chair with Harper and Rowan standing behind him. Bray says hello everyone, my name is Bray Wyatt. He introduces his brothers Harper and Rowan. He says his actions lately have been misinterpreted. He says I want tell you a story a special story. He says once upon a time there was a little boy a special little boy time that went to school with all other kids, but kids can be so cruel. He says even though the little boy was bigger than the rest of the kids, he would still cower to their harsh words. The kids called him names like freak and others and send him home crying. One day this special boy was going to change the world but instead he ran away. He hid behind another crutch. This crutch gave him a new sense of power and allowed him to be whatever he wanted to be. This crutch was a mask, and it gave him a new name "Kane." He says no more lies. He knows who he is what he is. He walks on water just to prove he can. He says he bites the head off of a snake just to taste its poison and this Sunday in the city of angels that one he will prove to Kane one man's hell is another man's paradise. "Follow the buzzards." Fire from the ring posts and Kane's music hits. Wyatt Family anticipate Kane. Kane attacks the Wyatt Family from behind. First Rowan and then Harper. Kane gets in the ring welcolmed by Bray. Staredown between the 2. Kane does the throat slash taunt. Bray charges Kane and Kane unloads on Bray. Harper and Rowan interfere and pay for it. Bray with a big forearm on Kane. Rowan and Harper pound on Kane while he is on the ground. Bray looks on in the corner bending over backwards. Bray grabs Kane and delivers his finisher. He then hovers over Kane and yells out "follow the buzzards!"
Back from commercial break, Rob Van Dam vs. Dean Ambrose at Summerslam kickoff with special guest commentators Shawn Michaels, Booker T, Natayla.
Damien Sandow is shown at ringside with his briefcase getting ready for his match. Recap of last week's SmackDown is shown showing Christian vs Alberto Del Rio. Christian delivers Killswitch to Del Rio. Sandow comes out to cash in the MITB briefcase, but Cody Rhodes interferes and delivers Cross Rhodes to Sandow. Christian is out. Cole discusses this Sunday could be Christian's last chance for the World Heavyweight Championship.
First match: Christian vs. Damien Sandow
Sandow with some offense to start, Christian with a missile dropkick for 2. Sandow with a right hand. Sandow suplexes Christian onto the top rope and then kicks him off the top rope to the outside. Sandow rolls Christian in the ring for 2. Sandow pressure hold on Christian. Sandow with a right hand to the back then throws Christian outside. On the outside, Irish whip by Sandow to Christian into the steel steps. Back from commercial break, Sandow with a reverse chin lock on Christian. Christian fights out, but Sandow takes control and delivers some knees to Christian. He then steps on Christian. Christian with a sunset flip but Sandow rolls through. Christian with a back body drop then some right hands. In the corner, Christian with a reverse DDT for 2. On the top, Christian misses a body splash. Sandow with a neckbreaker for 2. Sandow misses a clothesline. Christian with a sunset flip from second rope for 2. Christian with a reverse elbow off the second rope, Sandow gets a side Russian leg sweep and signals for the Elbow of Disdain, but Christian gets a small package on Sandow for 3. After the match, Christian Spears Sandow and then Del Rio attacks Christian from behind. Del Rio says you will never get to hold the gold. He asks are you loco? You will never be World Heavyweight Champion again. Some right hands by Del Rio. He attempts a Cross-Arm Breaker, but Christian counters into a Killswitch.
Backstage, Renee Young introduces Rob Van Dam. RVD comes out. Renee asks him his thoughts against Ambrose for the U.S. Championship at Summerslam. She asks is he worried about The Shield getting involved in the match. Then Big Show and Mark Henry come out, and he says he's not worried. Renee asks Big Show what brought him back. Show says what brought him back was unfinished business with The Shield. He says the Hounds of Justice are about to become the hunted. Mark Henry says RVD has nothing to be worried about this Sunday. RVD says The Shield needs to be worried cause they're going to get a taste of justice courtesy of Big Show, Mark Henry and RVD.
Back from commercial break, Summerslam theme is Gold Rush by Clinton Sparks ft. 2 Chainz Macklemore and D.A.
Kaitlyn and Natalya come out. At Summerslam, it's going to be A.J. Lee and Big E Langston vs Dolph Ziggler and Kaitlyn. A.J. Lee and Layla come out. A.J. kisses her belt.
Second match: Kaitlyn and Natalya vs. Layla and A.J. Lee
Natalya with a side headlock takeover on Layla. Layla with a head scissors. Roll up by Natalya for 2. Nice roll up by Layla for 2. Natalya attempts Sharpshooter, but A.J. distracts Natalya and Layla gets the upper hand. Layla with a grapevine on Natalya. In the corner, A.J. with a reverse chin lock on Natalya's back on top of her. A.J. cheap shots Kaitlyn on the apron then goes back to reverse chin lock on Natalya's back. Natalya fights out Kaitlyn with some offense. Splash in the corner by Kaitlyn. Back breaker by Kaitlyn on A.J. for 2. Kick by A.J. Kaitlyn with a gut buster for 2. Natalya attacks Layla. Layla kicks Kaitlyn in the back of the leg and A.j. hits a shining wizard on Kaitlyn for 3.

Backstage, Renee Young is with Ryback. She asks him is the reason why he isn't on Summerslam because of brutality to his opponents Ryback says he lives for brutality. Ryback asks some one off screen what he is looking at. He walks over to the guy and belittles him. Then punches him in the midsection. Then a slap to the face. Then throws him over a table then laughs about it. Ryback then says to Renee I would say people are scared of him.
Up next, a special look between CM Punk vs. Brock Lesnar.
Back from commercial break, Cole and JBL hype CM Punk vs. Brock Lesnar. Video package is shown showing Punk talking about working with Paul Heyman. Heyman talks about Punk and how he accomplihed everything he thought he would. Highlight clips of Punk's title run is shown. MITB ppv clip is shown when Heyman turned on Punk. Raw is shown with Heyman saying he turned on him because he is not the best in the world. Lesnar and Punk brawl. Punk says he is not afraid of The Monster. Punk challenges Lesnar and Heyman accepts. In the end, Punk says he is not afraid of Brock Lesnar. CM Punk vs. Brock Lesnar at Summerslam.
The Shield is out. It will be The Shield vs Rob Van Dam, Mark Henry, and Big Show up next. Back from commercial break, a recap of earlier tonight is shown showing the Wyatt Family promo and Kane's attack on the Wyatt Family and then the Wyatt Family getting the upper hand in the end. All three members of The Shield are shown in the ring. RVD is out. Mark Henry is out. Big Show is out. A recap of Raw is shown showing the battle royal. RVD eliminates Henry to win. Henry and RVD shake hands show. The Shield comes out and surrounds the ring. Then Big Show comes out and The Shield retreats.
Third match: Rob Van Dam, Mark Henry, and Big Show vs. The Shield
Mark Henry with a scoop slam on Seth Rollins to start. RVD with a kick off the top on Rollins. High monkey flip by RVD. Standing moonsault by RVD on Rollins for 2. Ambrose with a clothesline with some clotheslines on RVD from behind. In the corner, Ambrose with some right hands. Reigns with a cover for 2. Scoop slam by Reigns on RVD for 2. Reverse chin lock by Reigns. "RVD!" chants. RVD battles out, but Reigns stops the offense by RVD. More "RVD!" chants. Cheap shot by Reigns to Henry. Off the distraction, RVD with a spinning heel kick. "We want Big Show!" chants. Show with some clotheslines on Ambrose. Reigns low bridges Show. Henry throws Reigns over the announce table. Rollins takes out Henry. "RVD!" chants again. Show gets in the ring at a 9 count. In the ring, Show with a Knockout Punch to Ambrose. RVD hits the Five Star Frog Splash on Ambrose for 3. Highlights of the match is shown.

Back from commercial, The Miz will be a guest on the JBL and Cole show. Jack Swagger is out with Zeb Colter and Antonio Cesaro. Colter cuts a promo and says Miz no one likes you. He says you're fake and phony and walks around with his head in the clouds with his celebrity friends and is oblivous to what is going on in America. He says everybody stand up and say "We the people!"
Fourth match: The Miz vs. Jack Swagger
Swagger with some right hands, but Miz fights back. Boot to the face by Miz. Swagger with some clotheslines on Miz. Swagger does pushups on Miz's back and says "we the people!" Shoulder block by Swagger and another. Miz counters with a neckbreaker. "JBL!" chants. Miz with a DDT on Swagger for 2. Miz misses a kick to the face. Miz hits a clothesline on Swagger. In the corner, Cesaro distracts Miz, and Swagger with a club to the back knocks Miz off the apron. Ref throws Cesaro and Colter out. Off the distraction, Miz rolls up Swagger for 3. After the match, The Real Americans are standing in the ring looking mad.

Fifth match: Curtis Axel vs. Zack Ryder
Rollup by Ryder for 2. Arm drags by Ryder. Hammerlock by Ryder. Axel knocks off. Ryder Right hands by Ryder. Elbow by Ryder. Flapjack by Ryder for 2. Boots by axel. Suplex attempt by Axel, but Ryder counters with some knees to the face. Ryder attempts kick to the face, but Axel rolls to the outside. Ryder misses a flying body press from the top. Clothesline by Axel. Axel beats down Ryder. Snap suplex by Axel. "Punk!" chants. Neckbreaker by Axel for 3. After the match, Heyman presents Axel with the Intercontinental championship.

Back from commercial break, Paul Heyman says last Monday on Raw he got outsmarted by CM Punk. Congrats Punk you pulled off the impossible. He conspired against Punk, and Punk hit Lesnar in the face with a camera. Heyman ladies and gentleman all Punk did was prove why he was the best in the world. He says Summerslam is about Punk's revenge but that has changed because Punk has become the target of revenge, and it will come in the form of The Beast Brock Lesnar.
Cole and JBL discuss the WWE Championship match at Summerslam. Video package is shown showing the fued between Daniel Bryan and John Cena and all the events that has transpired leading up to the match for Summerslam
Daniel Bryan is out. Back from commercial break, Wade Barrett is out. A recap of raw is shown showing raw last Monday when Barrett beat Bryan due to a fast count by Brad Maddox.
Sixth match: Daniel Bryan vs. Wade Barrett -No Disqualification
In the corner, Bryan with some kicks to Barrett. Leg whip by Bryan and then gets a submission pulling Barrett's nose back. Barrett with a knee to the midsection on Bryan. Kick by Barrett. In the corner, kicks to the midsection by Barrett. Irish whip by Barrett. Bryan counters and hits a clotheslines. Then gets a clothesline to the outside on Barrett. On the outside, Barrett rams Bryan into the barricade. Irish whip by Barrett sends Bryan into the barricade. Barrett misses a kick and gets hung up on the barricade. Bryan gets some kicks to Barrett's chest. Bryan pulls out a table. Barrett attacks and slams Bryan into the announcer table then into the steel steps. Barrett smiles in admiration. Barrett grabs a kendo stick. In the ring, Barrett with some shots with the kendo stick. Bryan counters and grabs the kendo stick, but Barrett rolls outside and Bryan hits Barrett with a running knee off the apron. In the ring, Bryan nails a dropkick off the top. McMahon's music hits and he comes out. Back from commercial break, swinging neckbreaker by Barrett for 2. During the break, Bryan went shoulder first into the ring post. Live action, Barrett set up a table in the corner. Powerbomb attempt by Barrett, but Bryan counters. Bryan hits a running knee off the apron. "Yes!" chants. McMahon looks on from the ramp. On the outside, bryan with some kicks. Barrett counters a suplex attempt with one of his own. McMahon mocks Bryan's yes! chants. Barrett throws Bryan into the ring post. In the ring, Barrett grabs a chair. He nails Bryan in the back then in the midsection a few more times. Off the second rope, Barrett misses a chair shot. "Yes!" chants again. Drop kick by Bryan then another into Barrett's face. Bryan points to the kendo stick and nails Barrett with the kendo stick and kicks to the chest by Bryan many times. Bryan misses a kick to the face. Roll up by Barrett for 2. Bryan with the Yes Lock, but McMahon pulls the ref outside as Barrett taps. Bryan yells at McMahon "what are you doing!" McMahon replies, "doing my job." Off the distraction, Bull Hammer by Barrett. Maddox counts 2. Barrett attempts pump handle slam, but Bryan counters with a kick to the face. Maddox is unsure of what to do. "Triple H!" chants. Maddox doesn't know whether to count or not with the boss at ringside. Barrett attacks with a kendo stick from behind but hits Maddox. Bryan throws Barrett into a table on the outside. McMahon has a ref shirt in his hand, but Triple H's music hits and he comes out with a ref shirt on. On the top, Bryan hits a flying headbutt as Triple H counts for 3. After the match, Triple and Bryan both do the "Yes!" chants much to the crowd's delight. Triple H shakes Bryan's hand and clarifies him as the winner. Randy Orton's music hits, and he comes out he stands at the top of the ramp and holds the MITB briefcase above his head.
