TNA IMPACT REPORT (11/21/13) by Nicholas Sebastian
TURNING POINT EDITION
From Orlando, Florida, we open the show with Mike Tenay and Taz in the commentary booth. Mike Tenay tells us that James Storm was the victim of an unprovoked attack the previous night by Bobby Roode.
We're shown handheld camera footage from Impact 365 where Booby Roode finds James Storm sitting at a moderately busy bar and punches him right in the face. Storm is floored by the sneak attack as Roode continues with the punches and throws Storm into some bar stools against the bar, breaking them in the process. Roode pours a beer over Storm and smashes a metal trash can over Storm's back. No offense from Storm at all as Roode continues to verbally berate him, breaks a pool cue over his back and throws him across the billiards table to the other side. All the while Roode is taunting a dazed and staggering Storm to hit him. After a punch to the head, Roode leaves Storm in a heap, humiliating him by leaving some money on his head, saying it was on him.
We're then shown a video package that talks of the tournament to crown a new TNA Heavyweight Champion, given that A.J.Styles has walked away from the company with the original version of the belt. Highlights of Jeff Hardy's win over Chris Sabin and Kurt Angle's submission victory over Austin Aries, show that these two grapplers are headed for the semi-finals. In the same vein, we're told Bobby Roode will take on James Storm in a bullrope match, and Samoa Joe faces Magnus in a falls count anywhere match.
We're also told that Ken Anderson will face Bully Ray in a no disqualification match, with the stakes being should Anderson lose, he will have to leave TNA wrestling for good, but should he win, Bully Ray will have to disband Aces and Eights forever.
Dixie Carter, the president of TNA Wrestling, finds Samoa Joe backstage and tells him after watching a video of what happened between them last week. She called her own performance outstanding, and Joe's quite a bit less than spectacular. She warns him not to take that tone of voice with her again or he'll be joining A.J.Styles wrestling in Third World countries for pesos. She also tells him that should he win the championship, a unification match with A.J.Styles for his version of the belt will never happen because A.J.Styles will never be back in TNA and that Joe is lucky to be there himself. She then says she's going out first to start the show because the fans would rather see her, than him.
This brings on a negative reaction from the crowd in attendance. Dixie tries to talk above the boos and A.J. chants. She speaks about a Sports Illustrated article about her, then goes on to claim the fans are booing him for how he his treating her. She says it's because of his decision not to go along with her plans that he's wrestling all over the world for minimum wage. She feels no sympathy for him, only disdain for the fact that he's taken TNA intellectual property and misrepresented it in other parts of the world. This is a reference to A.J.Styles defending his version of the TNA Heavyweight Championship in other wrestling promotions. She says her lawyers will shut him down and no other company will make money off her & TNA. She speaks to the camera directly at A.J. saying there will be big consequences for his actions.
She's then interrupted by James Storm, who comes down the ramp holding a bullrope. Storm gets in the ring and asks Dixie if she saw what happened the night before on that video. He says Bobby Roode jumped him from behind at the bar to have a better chance of winning their match tonight. Storm shows Dixie the bullrope but says this type of match picked from her infamous "Wheel of Dixie" won't be enough for what he wants to do to Roode, and insists on using tables, chairs, and anything he can get his hands on. Storm announces that with TNA being back once again in Orlando, he wants a "Florida Death Match".
Dixie says she doesn't care about his brawl from the night before and that a match spun on the wheel doesn't get changed. Storm counters that he could have had Bobby Roode arrested last night but chose to settle this with him tonight in the ring. He tells her that if he doesn't get his way, he'll have Roode arrested on the spot and that there will be no match between them tonight.
Huge "Cowboy" chant from the crowd. Dixie tells Storm she will not be blackmailed, but has it pointed out that's what the crowd wants. Storm changes strategy and asks Dixie very nicely and politely for his Florida Death Match, and Dixie, seeing the reaction of the fans, agrees.
Taz and Tenay hype up the matches coming up on this Turning Point edition of TNA Impact. Joseph Park has called out his brother Abyss and we will see both of them together in the ring for the first time. Bully Ray takes on Ken Anderson where Anderson's career will be on the line against the disbanding of Bully Ray's club, the Aces and Eights. Taz predicts victory for his fellow gang member Bully Ray.

Magnus climbs to the top again, jumps and delivers his patented elbow drop to Joe. Cover, and almost two and a half as Joe is feeling the effects of a longer match with lots of offense. Joe is still down as Magnus grabs both his legs and attempts a Cloverleaf submission. Magnus is nowher near locking it in as Joe pushes him off with his legs and sends him to the corner.
Joe goes to the opposing corner and Magnus spies his opportunity. Charging Joe, he's met with Joe's power and is literally just thrown down with one arm by the huge Samoan. Magnus now on the outsde, Joe comes off the far ropes, flies through the middle ropes and suicide dives onto Magnus. Just a two count for Joe as he covers Magnus outside the ring. Magnus grabs Joe's shirt and pulls him into the side of the ring, temporarily stunning the big man. Magnus looks all around the ring and finds a chair. He wedges the chair in the corner between the bottom and middle rope.
Both men still outside the ring, uppercut to Joe as Magnus tries to throw him into the steel chair that's at head level when standing outside the ring. Reversal by Joe, who ducks under a clothesline, gets behind Magnus and in a standing position, locks in his rear naked choke submission. Magnus is fading outside the ring, but manages to smash Joe into the side of the ring to break the hold. Magnus recovers near the ring steps in the same area where the chair is wedged. Joe ran towards Magnus, but the British grappler moved at the last second sending Joe's head straignt into that chair. They say Joseph Park is not a man, he's a waterbed, a loser and that his brother didn't come to wrestle him is because he's a loser. Christopher Daniels continues to belittle Joseph Park calling him an emabarassment and a failure. Daniels says Joseph Park is wasting everyone's time and taunts him to be a man for once and punch him in the face. Park doesn't react, and Daniels realizes they need blood to get things going, so Kazarian comes up behind Parks and dumps a bucket of "blood" over the head of Joseph Parks.
