MATCH 1: GOLDUST VS RYBACK

We open the show right away with one half of the WWE Tag Team Champions, Goldust, making his entrance to his theme music. He's accompanied by his half-brother and fellow Tag Team Champion, Cody Rhodes. Tony Chimel then announces Ryback, his opponent, who comes down to the ring with his own tag-team partner, Curtis Axel.

Singles action gets underway as the bell sounds. Both partners of the competitors get out of the ring to watch the action from the outside. Goldust tries some mind games with Ryback, first sitting in the corner just staring at him, then at his invite, getting up and meeting him in the center of the ring. Face to face with his opponent, Goldust takes a deep breath, and makes Ryback flinch with a quick move.

Ryback, not amused, pushes Goldust back, who then promptly pushes Ryback. A quick punch is missed by Ryback, only to have Goldust connect with a stiff slap of his own to the jaw. Ryback goes to his knees, gets up against the ropes to recover and then stands in the corner, grabbing his jaw, seeming to be shocked at the force of the blow.

The two men circle each other and Ryback draws Goldust near him with the premise of a lock-up. A kick to the midsection by Ryback and a forearm smash to the back has Goldust on one knee. A couple of punches to the head by Ryback are followed by Goldust being thrown to the ropes. The reversal by Goldust and then a big elbow to his adversary's jaw sends Ryback down. The Human Wrecking Machine then goes to sit up in the corner, his back on the middle and bottom turnbuckles.

Curtis Axel on the outside, comes over to where Ryback back is in the ring, and gives some moral support. Ryback gets up and in a fighting stance, backs Goldust up, getting him close to the opposite corner. He draws Goldust near him again, feigning a test of strength. A kick to the midsection of the Bizarre One is followed by a punch to the head and a vicious chop to the chest.

Goldust comes out of the corner almost staggering, and is met with a forearm smash to the back that sends him to his knees. Ryback connects with another strike of the forearm to the back. He picks Goldust up off the mat by the head, grabs the hair and delivers a headbutt that has the tag-team champion going back to the ropes and holding the top one for much-needed support.

Goldust is then thrown to the ropes but manages an innovative reversal around Ryback's attempt at a back body drop. Ryback comes off running the ropes as Goldust goes down to let him pass. On the turnaround, Goldust misses with a clothesline, but performs an arm drag take down on the big man during his third crossing of the ring. A dropkick to a stunned Ryback standing near the ropes sends the Human Wrecking Machine tumbling to the outside of the ring.

Goldust goes to the ring apron and connects with a big boot to Ryback's head, then another stomp of the big man's right hand where he rested it momentarily for some support. Ryback screams in pain, as Goldust jumps down, grabs that same arm of his and drives it into the padded barricade that surrounds the ring.

Ryback makes it back into the ring rolling under the bottom rope, but stays down and keeps rolling to stay away from Goldust. Ryback is almost crawling when Goldust delivers a couple of swift kicks and then a couple of knees to his targeted right arm. Goldust gets an arm bar on his opponent as Ryback tries to figure a way out of the rest hold.

Ryback manages to power his way to his feet and gets his competitor to the corner. An Irish Whip into the opposite corner sends Goldust in there back first. Ryback runs in to deliver some quick offense but Goldust avoids disaster at the last second and sidesteps his foe. Ryback hits the corner chest first, comes out of there backing up slowly right into another arm drag take down by Goldust.

Goldust, always working on Ryback's right upper limb, keeps his opponent down on the mat with an arm bar. Lots of noise from Ryback as Goldust twists the arm with a wrist lock to inflict more punishment, trying to wear the big man down. A strike to the chest by Goldust is followed by a kick to the same right arm. Goldust gets another arm bar on Ryback who's made it to his feet, but is backed up into the corner by the powerful man.

Ryback in a more dominant position at this moment, hits Goldust with two shoulders to the midsection and then a shot to the head, bringing his opponent to his knees. Lots of kicks, punches and strikes to a kneeling Goldust has him reeling. Ryback grabs Goldust by the head and hair to deliver a verbal assault, only to have the referee count to four before breaking the vise.

Ryback pulls Goldust out of the corner and hits a huge bodyslam on the Bizarre One. Ryback goes for an elbow to his fallen opponent but catches nothing but canvas as Goldust had the presence of mind to move out of harm's way. On his feet now, Goldust goes to work on Ryback's right arm again with a kick and a punch.

Goldust puts Ryback in the corner and whips him into the opposite one, only to have it reversed by the stronger man. Goldust, with his back to the turnbruckles, is able to connect with an elbow to the head of a charging Ryback, sending the man down to the mat.
Goldust climbs to the top turnbuckle, facing away from the ring. Looking behind him, he sees Ryback get to his feet. Instead of a moonsault as intended, he leaps off and spins around to deliver a cross body into a pin attempt. Ryback powers out with authority at one.

Ryback comes back with a knee to the midsection that staggers Goldust. Ryback then whips the Golden One into the comer. Goldust hits the turnbuckles back first with tremendous force, sending him down to the mat and looking up at the ring lights. Goldust takes his time getting up, allowing Ryback to run the ropes and deliver a flying shoulder tackle. The force of the strike sends Goldust through the middle ropes and down onto the arena floor. Cody Rhodes goes around to help his half-brother as we go to commercial.

We're back from the break and both competitors are back in the ring. Ryback is still in control of the match and has Goldust on the canvas in a rear chin lock. Goldust makes it to his feet and fights out of the hold with an elbow to Ryback's gut. More punches by Goldust are followed by him running the ropes to get momentum. A hip toss attempt by Ryback is blocked. Goldust manages to get around Ryback and rolls him up in a school boy pin attempt for a two count.

Ryback is up quickly and runs at Goldust, nailing him with a clothesline that sends him down and rolling onto the apron. Ryback goes over and picks up Goldust who's still on the ring apron, but is met by a punch to the midsection before he can deliver any offense. Goldust puts Ryback in position to suplex him out of the ring and onto the floor. His two tries are successively blocked by Ryback, who then uses his own immense power to lift Goldust into a suplex of his own. Ryback brings his opponent into the ring and in a show of strength, walks around holding his adversary in a vertical position for a remarkable length of time before finishing the devastating maneuver. A hook of Goldust's leg and a cover by Ryback is only able to get a two count.

A kick to the back of a sitting Goldust is followed by Ryback getting behind him and putting his hands around his midsection, squeezing the ribs and causing immense pain. Goldust is fading in the rest hold as Ryback wrenches him around. Goldust makes it to his feet and gets out of the hold by stomping on Ryback's foot and elbowing him to the head twice each time.

Ryback connects with two forearms to the back that send Goldust the corner. A punch to Goldust's head and Ryback then sends the Bizarre One into the corner. Goldust makes his way gingerly out of there to run right into a running Ryback. Powerslam attempt by Goldust is messed up as the two combatants hit the canvas quite hard at the same time and are both down and out.

Both men are struggling to get to their feet. Once up, Ryback attempts a clothesline but misses. Goldust comes off the ropes with momentum and hits two of his own lariats. Goldust throws Ryback to the ropes and delivers an inverted atomic drop on the big man. Another run of the ropes and Goldust connects with a bulldog that has the Ryback reeling.

We get a view of vintage Goldust as he delivers a shot from below to a bent over Ryback. The Bizarre One comes off the ropes into an inverted atomic drop attempt by Ryback. Goldust floats out of it and hits a huge spine buster into a pin attempt. The referee counts two but The Human Wrecking Machine is able to kick out.

Ryback makes it near the ropes but is followed there by Goldust and met with a clothesline that sends the bigger man down to the floor but still onto his feet. From inside the ring, Goldust slingshots himself over the top rope and onto Ryback, sending both men crashing onto to the padded floor.

Goldust hits Ryback with repeated shots to the head. Curtis Axel makes is way over to break things up and give his partner a hand, only to be clobbered with a flying forearm by Cody Rhodes. Rhodes literally flew over Goldust and Ryback on the floor to deliver the punishing blow to Axel.

The referee continues his count as Goldust picks up Ryback to throw him back into the ring. Ryback pushes him off and rolls underneath the ropes to enter the squared circle. Goldust climbs into the ring as well but receives a kick to the gut for his effort. Ryback lifts Goldust to deliver a powerbomb, but is thwarted when Goldust gets free after being lifted up high.

Goldust comes down and gets Ryback into a front face lock, then delivers a swinging side suplex to his opponent, a version of his "Final Cut" finisher. A cover and a count of two on a motionless Ryback is broken up by Curtis Axel running into the ring and kicking Goldust in the back. The referee calls for the bell and disqualifies Ryback because of outside interference, giving the victory to the Bizarre One.

WINNER: GOLDUST

After the match, Cody Rhodes runs in to strike Axel and chase him out of the ring. Rhodes then delivers a disaster kick on Ryback who had just made it to his feet after the pin attempt. Ryback rolls out of the ring to the outside. Curtis Axel gets back in to run at the Rhodes brothers, only to have Goldust lift him over the top rope and onto his partner Ryback. Axel and Ryback are a lot worse for wear, lying in a heap outside the ring.

We're shown a video from Monday night Raw where Kane, the Director of Operations for the Authority, puts Daniel Bryan in a three-on-one handicap match against all the members of the Wyatt family. This will take place at the TLC (Tables, Ladders, and Chairs) pay-per-view on December 15th.

We go the the commercial break as we see Jimmy and Jey Uso making their ring entrance. They're performing their tribal war dance ritual and trying to get the crowd in attendance to participate in their bellowing.

MATCH 2: JIMMY & JEY USO VS 3MB (JINDER MAHAL & DREW MCINTYRE)

3MB make their way to the ring composed of only two members this time around, Jinder Mahal and Drew McIntyre. The announcers mention an alleged vocal cord injury is keeping Heath Slater, the third member of 3MB, out of action and away from the arena this week.

Jinder Mahal will start this match against Jimmy Uso as the bell sounds. A collar and elbow tie up between the two men has Jinder Mahal getting his opponent into a side headlock. Jimmy Uso throws Mahal into the ropes to break the hold but is then taken down with a shoulder block on the turnaround.

Mahal showboats a bit to the crowd, runs the ropes going over, then under a jumping Jimmy Uso, over again on the third run but meeting an elbow to the jaw after that. It's Jimmy Uso's turn to showboat a bit as a chop to Mahal's chest sends him into the Uso's corner. Jimmy tags in his twin brother Jey as he holds Jinder Mahal against the turnbuckles.

Jey Uso goes to the center of the ring as his brother throws Jinder Mahal right into a running clothesline of his. Jinder Mahal goes down in a heap and then crawls to the ropes for some support getting up. Jey just runs at him near the ropes with another clothesline. McIntyre is able to make the blind tag just before Uso strikes, sending the Samoan and the Canadian-Indian over the ropes and crashing to the outside.

Jinder Mahal, now the illegal man unbeknownst to Jey Uso, is thrown back into the ring under the bottom rope. The Samoan is still on the outside when he's hit with a huge running kick to the jaw from the other member of 3MB, Drew McIntyre. The Scotsman lands on his back after the maneuver and both men are in obvious pain. He throws Jey Uso back into the ring and gets back inside himself, resuming the match after the blind to his partner. A cover on Jey Uso by McIntyre just gets him a one count.

Jinder Mahal tags in and strikes with a kick to the gut on a fallen Jey Uso as McIntyre holds his opponent's right leg. After some more kicks to Uso, Mahal picks him up and drapes his neck across the top rope, close to his corner. Mahal pushes down with his weight trying to crush the larynx of Jey Uso. The referee counts to four and then Mahal is forced to break the hold, throwing the Samoan down onto his back. Another kick to the gut by Mahal for good measure and afterwards tags his Scottish partner into the match.

Drew McIntyre gets in on the double team as he and his partner bring Jey Uso down by the midsection onto the top rope and then leave him hanging there. A series of forearms to the back of a dazed Jey Uso sends him lying on the ring apron, trying to recover from the punishment he's taken. He's rolled under the bottom rope into the ring and is met with a couple of big stomps to the neck and chest by Drew McIntyre.

Jey Uso is picked up by the hair but manages to fight out with some shots to the gut of the Scotsman. A chop to Drew McIntyre's chest gets Uso the response of a boot to his jaw, a fall to the canvas and a pin attempt by his opponent. The Scotsman only gets a count of two as the Samoan is able to kick out.

An arm bar on Jey Uso has him sitting up on the ring mat. Drew McIntyre is doing a masterful job keeping his adversary away from the tag to his fresh partner. Jey Uso makes it to his feet, gives a couple of strikes to the midsection of McIntyre and then is pushed to the ropes. Drew McIntyre misses with a clothesline, as Jey Uso floats over him and delivers a DDT that sends both men to the mat.

Both men struggle to get up and then tag in their respective partners. We now have Jimmy Uso facing Jinder Mahal. The Indian-Canadian eats two clotheslines and a kick to the gut before he's thrown into the ropes. Jimmy Uso goes for a back body drop but receives a kick to the gut after Jinder Mahal stops his own momentum on the turnaround. Mahal then comes off the ropes in an attempt to deliver some more punishment but ends up on the receiving end of a big Samoan drop.

Jimmy Uso gets some crowd involvement by screaming out to them as Mahal makes his way to the neutral corner, sitting up with his back against the middle turnbuckle. Jimmy Uso runs at him to deliver a running back-first splash but gets the empty corner as his reward. Trying some offense of his own, Jinder Mahal comes off the ropes right into a solid kick to the jaw. A hook of the outside leg and a cover by Jimmy Uso is broken up by Drew McIntyre at two.

Jey Uso is now in the ring and he draws Drew McIntyre towards him. Jey Uso throws the Scotsman through the middle and top ropes to the outside. Jey then runs the ropes, jumps over the top rope and suicide dives right onto Drew McIntyre on the arena floor. Both men are down and struggling right around the end of the entrance ramp.

Back to the ring, the two legal men continue their battle. Jinder Mahal has Jimmy Uso in the corner, delivering some punishing blows and then sets him sitting on the top corner. Mahal climbs to the second rope in what looks to be an attempt to superplex the Samoan. Jimmy Uso fights out of it and headbutts Mahal twice to send him crashing down to the mat.

Jimmy Uso, climbing high, hits a top rope flying splash onto a prone Jinder Mahal, then rolls him over onto his back and gets the 1-2-3, much to the delight of a good part of the crowd.

WINNERS: JIMMY & JEY USO

He called the upcoming title unification match one of the biggest matches in history and definitely the biggest of this generation.
