WWE House Show Results (11/18/05) - Manchester, England

Report by: Wrestlemag.com, rajah.com reader

Wrestlemag are at the MEN Arena in Manchester, England for WWE's first stop
in the UK on their European tour. There's about 13-14,000 in the Arena,
although a lot of the top tier is taped off. Results as follows:

- The show began with Eric Bischoff leading a 10-bell salute after huge
"Eddie, Eddie" chants throughout the arena.

- Shelton Benjamin beat Carlito after avoiding an attempt by Carlito to spit
apple in his face. Benjamin hit the T Bone suplex for the win.

- Tajiri beat Nick Nemeth. Nemeth looked totally out of place, and the
finish was a mess. The referee counted two, released it was the finish, and
called for the bell anyway.

- Ashley Massaro won a "Best Body Diva Contest". Victoria and Candice
Michelle attacked her afterwards until Lilian Garcia made the save.

- Rob Conway beat Eugene.

- Shawn Michaels beat Chris Masters. Masters put on a lot of rest-holds, and
HBK bumped all over for him throughout.

- Lance Cade & Trevor Murdoch beat Viscera and Val Venis. They teased a
Val/Vis split afterwards, which got booed....when they didn't go through
with it.

- Triple H beat Ric Flair in a non-title match after the pedigree. Very good
match.

- John Cena beat Kurt Angle in a cage match. Cena was over huge and the
match was match of the night by far. After the match, Cena got an Eddie sign
from the crowd and showed it off from the top of the cage. The night ended
with everybody chanting Eddie's name.

It was announced that WWE will return to the United Kingdom in April 2006,
with house shows in Cardiff, Belfast, Newcastle, Birmingham and Nottingham.
RAW and Smackdown! will take place in London, which is bound to please a lot
of UK fans who have been waiting for WWE to return to the capital for a
long, long time.
