Steve Austin Back On Good Terms With WWE

After their latest fallout earlier this month, Stone Cold Steve Austin and WWE are once again back on good terms.

On the RAW before Taboo Tuesday, Vince McMahon announced that Austin had been in an accident and as a result, the former WWE Champion would be unable to participate in his match against Jonathan Coachman. While Steve Austin was reportedly very upset with WWE when he found out he was scheduled to lose to Coachman, WWE officials do believe that Austin was legitimately hurt. Austin did indeed suffer an injury to his lower back and an inflamed sciatic nerve when he fell while moving furniture over the weekend. Austin would have had to been heavily medicated to get through the match and it was concluded that putting him in that situation was simply not worth it.

WWE still plans to have Austin wrestle Hulk Hogan at WrestleMania 22. Vince McMahon and Hogan are very anxious to sign the match, while Steve Austin remains understandably hesitant.
