Hello one and all. I got to go to Raw this week but had to miss SmackDown! and I missed a great show. Oh well. Anyway here's Velocity and Heat for you so enjoy.

Simon Dean vs Taylor Phoenix
Simon with some mic work to begin. Simon was appalled when he arrived in pathetic England to find out the people are fatter and more out of shape than Americans. Simon doesn't know how it's possible because the food stinks and peoples teeth are so rotten he doesn't know how people chew the food in the first place. Simon makes his opponent introduce himself then tells him he's in pathetic shape. Simon asks him to consider supplementing his poor diet with a Simon System protein bar. Phoenix says no and Simon says he should have said yes. Simon slaps Phoenix with the bar then clubs and slams him down. Simon with a series of boots and a butt wiggle at the crowd then clubs Phoenix and hits him with a knee and a butt blow. Phoenix counters a hiptoss off the ropes then hits an armdrag and a series of forearms. Phoenix runs the ropes and ducks underneath Simon but Simon throws Phoenix down by the hair then kicks him into the corner where Simon stands on his chest. Simon stomps a mudhole in Phoenix before hitting a cheeky back kick. Simon with a slap and a swat with his boot. Phoenix blocks a suplex so Simon shoves him into the corner but Simon walks into a boot. Phoenix fights back and rams Simon's head into the corner, Simon reverses an Irish whip, Phoenix leaps from the second rope but comes up short on a cross body attempt and Simon drops an elbow. Simon with some pushups slaps Phoenix in the head. Simon applies a front facelock while driving some knees into Phoenix's head. Phoenix fights out but charges into a drop toehold and Simon delivers the Curbstomp. Simon covers Phoenix for a nearfall while doing some pushups on him. Simon chokes Phoenix on the mat whilst tying up his arm, Phoenix gets up and tries to fight back again but Simon cuts him off with knees in the corner. Simon with an Irish whip charges into a boot but recovers to knock Phoenix down. Simon hooks an arm and traps Phoenix in an abdominal stretch. Simon goes for a suplex but Phoenix reverses and after fending Simon off Phoenix hits a couple of dropkicks. Simon reverses Phoenix off the ropes who hits a cross body for a nearfall. Phoenix runs the ropes right into Simon's bicycle kick. Simon checks his pulse then finishes Phoenix off with the Simonizer. 1-2-3. Simon got some time to showcase his amateur wrestling background but too bad his character isn't going anywhere quickly. Here is Your Winner: SIMON DEAN.

Sylvan vs Funaki
Funaki gets the crowd going to begin. Sylvan powers Funaki down then mocks Funaki's clapping to the crowd. Funaki with a go-behind, Sylvan reverses and shoves Funaki's back. Funaki slaps Sylvan's face then Sylvan gives chase outside then back in where Sylvan leapfrogs Funaki but turns round to another slap in the face. Funaki ducks a clothesline and nips outside again and mocks Sylvan. Sylvan gives chase again and manages to pull Funaki back outside by the legs and Sylvan goes to work with punches and kicks. Sylvan whips Funaki into the ringsteps then orders the referee to count. Sylvan cuts the count off by press slamming Funaki onto the steps before posing to the crowd as the referee resumes his count. Sylvan cuts it off again to put Funaki back inside where Sylvan covers for a nearfall. Sylvan gets Funaki up who tries to fight back with punches but Sylvan cuts him off with a boot to the gut then whips him to the corner twice before catching him in a bearhug. Funaki punches free, Sylvan punches back and Irish whips but charges into a boot. Sylvan charges again and catches Funaki's leg but Funaki swings the other one round and connects with an enziguiri. Funaki with a series of punches ducks a Sylvan lunge and runs the ropes and hits a clothesline. Funaki with a dropkick and more punches then an Irish whip and bulldog off the ropes. 1-2-no. Funaki fires up while holding his lower back but manages to nail a cross body from the top rope for another nearfall. Funaki rams Sylvan's head into the corner three times then mounts the second rope and motions for a Tornado DDT after some more mocking of Sylvan. Sylvan counters by throwing Funaki to the mat before quickly finishing things off with the showoff (DDT) 1-2-3. Here is Your Winner: SYLVAN. Post match Sylvan does his model pose.

MNM w/Melina vs Paul London & Brian Kendrick
Steve says this is a tag team title match but Tony Chimel doesn't announce it as such so I don't think it is. London and Kendrick have a combined titantron now with London's music and come charging down and perform stereo backflips from in the corner. Kendrick begins against Mercury. Lockup, side headlock by Mercury and a shoulder tackle off the ropes. Mercury misses an elbow and Kendrick with an armdrag into an armbar. Kendrick gets sent off the ropes by the hair. Both men block hiptosses, Kendrick flips over and ducks Mercury then scores with a monkey flip, an armdrag, hiptoss and back to the armbar. Mercury takes Kendrick to his corner and Nitro tags in but Kendrick rolls out of harms way and armdrags Nitro. London tags in and Nitro gets a double armdrag off the ropes. Nitro sits up then gets double kicks in unison and London covers for one. Nitro knees the gut and forearms London into the corner. Nitro Irish whips London but charges into an elbow then London scores with the Mushroom stomp and another armdrag. London and Kendrick make frequent tags working on Nitro's arm then hit a double backelbow off the ropes. Kendrick runs the ropes and London elevates him and Kendrick splashes Nitro and Mercury breaks up the cover at two. MNM attempt to work Kendrick's arm but they hit each other. Mercury goes for a back suplex, Kendrick rolls back and shoves Mercury off the ropes who hangs on and ducks outside. Mercury ducks a Kendrick baseball slide and flips Kendrick over but Kendrick rebounds off the ropes and delivers a headscissors on the floor to Mercury. Kendrick dodges Nitro trying to help his partner and London flips over the top rope hitting MNM with a suicide dive as we cut off for Commercials. We come back to see London and Kendrick hit flying forearms to Mercury in the corner followed by a double dropkick. Kendrick with a nearfall traps Mercury in a headlock, Mercury takes him and whips him to the corner but Kendrick slips out onto the apron to avoid a charge. London boots Nitro off the apron as Kendrick goes up top and seeing the referee distracted Melina brings Kendrick down onto the top rope allowing MNM to take control with a double legdrop then a double gutbuster. Mercury with some mounted mat punches then stands on Kendrick's chest and covers for two. Mercury drives his head into Kendrick's gut in the corner then Nitro enters and shows off with a flip then delivers a knee to Kendrick's gut. Nitro with a reverse chinlock, Kendrick with backelbows and a jawbreaker to escape. Mercury goes for a neckbreaker on Kendrick who counters out and hits a heel kick and tags in London who forearms Nitro down then hits Mercury with a dropsault. Nitro gets a spinning heel kick but Mercury boots London in the gut. London off the ropes ducks underneath Mercury and gives him a hurricanrana before dropkicking Nitro in the knee. London steps off Nitro and hits a Shooting Star Press on Mercury 1-2-broken up by Nitro. Nitro uppercuts London into the corner and MNM double team and Irish whip London who slides outside just as Kendrick who's on the top rope hits MNM with a cross body. Kendrick hits Mercury with a high knee to the head then goes for Sliced Bread #2 on Nitro who counters by sending Kendrick outside. Back inside and MNM are dazed and London sizes them up but gets distracted by Melina allowing Nitro to leap over the top rope and hang London up. Mercury gives the sign and Nitro gets back in and MNM deliver the Snapshot to London and Mercury whose nose is busted open covers for the 1-2-3. Great match. Here Are Your Winners: MNM. An idea for Survivor Series for another traditional elimination match. MNM, Nunzio, Vito & Kid Kash vs Paul London, Brian Kendrick & The Mexicools. I think that would be a great showcase for Tag Teams, Cruiserweights and all around SmackDown! talent. What do you think? I'd love to see that as none of them are on the card thus far and what harm will it do? I'd rather see that than Bischoff vs Long anyday.

Carlito vs Taylor Phoenix
This Phoenix guy was just on Velocity and was from Sheffield but here he's announced from Leeds. Where's he really from is what I want to know WWE? Phoenix is booed out of the building as Carlito gets some pops and a Carlito chant starts. Carlito hands his apple to Lillian Garcia who looks hot as always. Carlito starts with a slam then shrugs the fans off but they're still behind him. Carlito with an armwringer, Phoenix flips and rolls into an armdrag to escape then follows up with a dropkick and Phoenix plays to the crowd who boo. Carlito stops Phoenix just before a lockup and slaps him then boots and throws him over the top rope but Phoenix skins the cat back in but charges into a boot to the gut. Carlito with punches in the corner and an Irish whip, Phoenix avoids a charge and rolls Carlito up for one. Phoenix goes for a slam but Carlito slips behind and hits a lung buster. Carlito takes Phoenix to the corner and chops before punching him down then delivering a suplex for a nearfall. Carlito with stomps then chokes Phoenix in the bottom rope and kicks him to the outside. After driving Phoenix into the apron Carlito puts him back in and traps him in a bearhug. Carlito spits at the crowd and Phoenix grabs Carlito's hair to escape and the crowd dump all over him. Phoenix ducks a Carlito lunge and attacks with punches then hits a clothesline off the ropes. Phoenix with a second clothesline and a gutwrench suplex for a nearfall. Phoenix goes up top and leaps off but Carlito catches him with a dropkick then Carlito gets Phoenix up and delivers a roll the dice reverse DDT for the 1-2-3. Here is Your Winner: CARLITO. Post match Carlito teases an apple spit but walks off keeping it in his mouth.

Snitsky & Tyson Tomko vs Chris Chaos & Brandon T
Two more enhancement kids here supposedly from Sheffield but Coach nor Grisham never reveal who's who. One has blue tights the other mixed colours so we'll have to go by that. Tomko and Snitsky fire up to start by slapping and shoving one another. Tomko starts with blue tights but Tomko turns to jawjack with mixed tights and blue tights from behind gets some shots in before Tomko lifts him up and drives him into the corner. Snitsky tags in and Tomko shoves blue tights into Snitsky who applies a bearhug before driving him back into the corner. Snitsky slugs mixed tights off the apron then knocks blue tights down with a punch and tags in Tomko who hits a punch to the gut followed by knees to the head on the canvas. Tomko and Snitsky take it in turns to punch blue tights before Snitsky hits a boot to blue tight's head on the canvas. Snitsky with a slam drops an elbow and covers 1-2-broken up by a Mushroom stomp by mixed tights who then hits Tomko on the apron. Snitsky grabs mixed tights by the throat and throws him to the corner before Irish whipping him into a Tomko big boot (which looked great live by the way). Tomko grabs mixed tights by one arm and deposits him in the corner then Snitsky lifts blue tights into a sidewalk slam position and Tomko comes off the ropes with an elbow (which looks really bad as he didn't connect at all). Snitsky covers and gets the 1-2-3. Here Are Your Winners: SNITSKY & TYSON TOMKO. Post match Snitsky and Tomko slap and shove each other and square up as Grisham drops hints on a feud with Big Show and Kane which I never want to see.

Lance Cade vs Viscera
Both men come out without their respective partners Trevor Murdoch and Val Venis. Viscera gyrates to begin and Cade talks trash and shoves and slaps Viscera who responds with a slap of his own resulting in Cade doing a Flair flop. Viscera gyrates in Cade's face and Cade ducks outside. Cade gets back in and applies a side headlock but Viscera sends him off the ropes and takes him down with a shoulder tackle then delivers a headbutt to send Cade into the corner. Cade with a knee to the gut attempts a slam to no avail. Cade runs the ropes ducks Viscera's clothesline attempt but Viscera catches a cross body attempt waves to the crowd and slams Cade down. Viscera punches Cade to the corner then clubs the back and Irish whips. Viscera gyrates and sets up for a charge but Cade goes outside again. Viscera advances and Cade hangs him up on the top rope then climbs to the top rope and hits Viscera with a flying shoulder tackle for a nearfall. Cade beats on Viscera's back and knees the gut and runs the ropes and attempts a sunset flip. Cade dodges Viscera's sit down splash attempt and hits a clothesline off the ropes for another nearfall. Cade applies a rear naked choke, Viscera gets up, Cade clubs the back and runs the ropes but Viscera catches a boot attempt reels in Cade and clotheslines him down. Viscera with a backelbow and headbutt whips Cade off the ropes into a swinging side slam. Viscera delivers the Visagra/Viscerape then whips Cade off the ropes but puts his head down allowing Cade to boot it. Viscera catches a charging Cade and delivers a sitdown powerbomb for the 1-2-3. Here is Your Winner: VISCERA.

My quick Survivor Series predictions are: CHRIS BENOIT, JOHN CENA, TEDDY LONG, MELINA, TRIPLE H, SHAWN MICHAELS (Sole Survivor). Maybe Mr Kennedy vs Matt Hardy will get added to the card or the idea I pitched in my Velocity recap but nonetheless wherever you are enjoy Survivor Series. I'll be back tomorrow with the pre-Survivor Series Heat recap. Later, Shaun.
