Here Are Your Winners: VAL VENIS & VISCERA. Post match before posing and gyrating again Val gestures he wants the tag titles. Looks like these are the next challengers. Well they're the only ones left as Cade and Murdoch have split up but I have heard 3 Minute Warning are on their way back.
Lance Cade vs Tajiri
Cade is announced as Murdoch's former partner. They've pushed the wrong partner in Murdoch as the misuse of Shelton Benjamin continued on Raw this past week. Cade comes out with a more cocky persona. Cade avoids a Tajiri baseball slide and levels him with a clothesline on the outside. Cade with a nearfall drops two elbows off the ropes for another nearfall then traps Tajiri's head in a vice. Cade drops a fist to the fallen Tajiri who responds with a kick to stagger Cade into the ropes. Tajiri with some punches to the gut, Cade thottles Tajiri into the corner and pounds him down with clubs, boots and knees and another choke. Cade turns away to argue with the referee, Tajiri gets up and hits Cade as he turns back round with a side kick that floors him. Tajiri sizes Cade up nips up, stalks Cade who gets to his knees and Tajiri turns his lights out with a Shining Wizard. 1-2-3. Nice unexpected win for Tajiri but the story of the match was Cade being too cocky and losing his focus. Here is Your Winner: TAJIRI.
Rob Conway vs Chavo Guerrero
Big pops for Chavo who thankfully has returned to his roots. Lots of Eddie chants which Chavo applauds. Conway passes his shades to the referee but Chavo steals them and makes some poses to rile up Conway before giving them back to the referee. Chavo begins with an arm reversal and armdrag. Chavo drop toeholds out of a hammerlock and applies a leg grapevine then switches to an armbar. Conway sends Chavo off the ropes, Chavo with a shoulder tackle then a side headlock. Conway tries to muscle out and throws Chavo down by his head. Conway with a side headlock takedown, Chavo counters with a headscissors, Conway gets free and repeats his last move as does Chavo. Conway goes for it a third time but Chavo rolls Conway onto the mat and scores with his own side headlock takedown. Chavo sent off the ropes hits a shoulder tackle then keeps Conway grounded with another side headlock takedown. Conway punches free, tells the crowd Chavo sucks and Irish whips but Chavo floats over a charge and punches Conway down who rolls to the outside and vents his anger. Conway gets back in says Chavo sucks again and both exchange some shots in the corner until Chavo gets reversed off the ropes and comes back with a tilt-a-whirl headscissors followed by a clothesline over the top rope. Chavo does some jumping jacks in the ring and a Chavo chant starts as we break off for Commercials. Back from the break and Conway in the corner pokes an advancing Chavo in the eye and hits some punches. Chavo off the ropes ducks Conway and boots him in the head and punches away. Chavo runs the ropes but Conway hits a flapjack and clothesline. Conway with some forearms hits a high knee to the gut off the ropes then Conway mocks Chavo. Conway with some boots to the gut suplexes Chavo onto the top rope and Chavo bounces off and hits the mat. Conway with a couple of nearfalls traps Chavo in an abdominal stretch, cue another Chavo chant. Conway uses the top rope for some unfair leverage, Chavo refuses to quit so Conway wedges his arm into Chavo's side at the same time. Conway beats on Chavo's side. Conway goes for the top rope yet again but Chavo inches away and eventually armdrags free. Chavo sends Conway away with shots to the gut then staggers him with a series of punches to the head. Chavo salutes Eddie and hits Conway with a clothesline, shoulder tackle and a high knee after a boot to the gut. Chavo sends Conway off the ropes, Conway with a duck underneath goes for a hurricanrana but Chavo turns it into a powerbomb for a nearfall. Chavo with some uppercuts for another nearfall. Chavo kicks Conway in the gut and delivers a Gory Bomb/Gory Special (Coach and Grisham claim they've never seen it before) for the 1-2-3. Here is Your Winner: CHAVO GUERRERO. Really good main event that was given some time. It was clear to see Chavo talking Conway through the match and Conway's recent push has hit the skids but nonetheless both men had a good showing. Chavo salutes the crowd and Eddie to end.
That's all for this week folks. I'll be back next weekend with Heat and Velocity. Have a good week and I'll catch you later. Shaun.
