Welcome aboard everyone. Let's get things going with the weekend WWE action. We begin with Velocity and a tag team matchup is first out of the chute this week.
The Dicks vs Scotty 2 Hotty & Funaki
Chad backs Funaki to the corner, both exchange shoves, Funaki with a hiptoss, armdrag and legdrop onto the arm. Funaki with an armbar, Scotty tags in, he and Chad exchange some arm reversals then Chad gets some shots in in the corner. James tags sends Scotty off the ropes, Scotty ducks underneath wiggles and hiptosses a charging James twice. Scotty with a side headlock as Animal and Heidenreich come out to watch on the ramp. James delivers a back suplex and the Dicks get distracted by Animal and Heidenreich allowing Funaki to dropkick James into Chad then deliver an inverted atomic drop to James. Scotty follows up with a bulldog and connects with the W-O-R-M. 1-2-broken up by Chad. The Dicks stomp and choke Scotty in the corner and Chad scores a nearfall while using the ropes for leverage. Scotty tries to fight back but the Dicks beat him down and James traps him in a front facelock. Scotty inches to the corner but James releases and beats him away. Scotty rolls back from a back suplex attempt and finally makes the tag. Funaki springs in with a cross body on James and nails a bulldog on Chad then an enziguiri kick to James. The Dicks receive backbodydrops by Funaki who fires up. Funaki grabs a headlock on Chad, The Dicks hoist him on their shoulders but Funaki counters with a double headscissors takedown. Funaki comes off the top rope with a cross body on James who rolls through but Scotty breaks up the count at two. Chad throws Scotty through the ropes then the Dicks hit Funaki with a double firemans carry drop then Chad delivers a Guillotine legdrop from the top rope and James covers for the 1-2-3. Here Are Your Winners: THE DICKS. Post match The Dicks staredown Animal and Heidenreich and both talk trash from afar.
Simon Dean vs Caprice Coleman
Simon has some trouble starting his Dean machine during his entrance. Simon with some mic work to begin as always. Simon introduces himself and says he's having a terrible week because of being forced into a match with the Boogeyman and being dragged into the ring by arena security to wrestle a lunatic. Since then Simon can't sleep, eat, is unshaven and his workout has suffered greatly. What makes him sick is everyone thinks it's a big joke. Simon notices Coleman laughing then says the joke's on him before nailing a cheap shot and stomping him down. Coleman reverses Simon off the ropes and lands a hiptoss. Coleman with a headlock, Simon sends him to the corner facefirst and clotheslines him down from behind. Simon drops a knee from the second rope then takes some shots at Coleman before driving his head into the mat while doing some pushups. Simon covers for one, Simon tries a reverse chinlock, Coleman armdrags away and fights back. Simon cuts Coleman off and throws him to the mat face first before bringing an elbow down onto his back and applying the Curbstomp. Simon with a nearfall then wraps himself round Coleman and applies a neck tie. Coleman knees free then knocks Simon down after a series of punches. Coleman delivers two dropkicks then after a kick to the gut Coleman nails a spin kick on the back of Simon's head 1-2-no. Coleman Irish whips Simon but misses a sitdown splash and Simon finishes him off with the Simonizer. 1-2-3. Here is Your Winner: SIMON DEAN. Post match Simon gets a cheap shot in after doing some Simon squats. Good squash with some nice offense spots for Coleman (Shelton Benjamin lookalike).
Paul London & Brian Kendrick vs Nunzio & Vito
Kendrick and Nunzio begin with a hammerlock exchange. Nunzio snapmares free then throws Kendrick down by the hair. Nunzio pulls down his kneepad but misses a kneedrop and Kendrick scores nearfalls first with an Oklahoma roll and then a rollup maneuver. Nunzio off the ropes boots Kendrick in the head but charges into Kendrick's feet. London tags in and hits Nunzio with a cross body from the top rope for two. London slams Nunzio and hits a swanton bomb off the ropes for another nearfall. Kendrick tags back in and he and London land a double armdrag to Nunzio off the ropes then nip up but Vito takes them both down with a clothesline. Nunzio tries to suplex Kendrick who slips behind and grabs Nunzio before shoving him into Vito no Nunzio puts the brakes on and the FBI charge but Kendrick rolls under allowing London to hit both with a dropkick. Kendrick with a nearfall on Nunzio then another after a small package off the ropes but Nunzio pushes Kendrick into the ropes where Vito nails Kendrick with a shot to the head from the outside. Nunzio stomps Kendrick, tag to Vito who sends Kendrick off the ropes and levels with a clothesline. Vito tags Nunzio and throws Kendrick to the mat by the arm and Nunzio hits Kendrick with a dropkick to the face for a nearfall. Nunzio with a snapmare and hammerlock on the mat. Kendrick goes to elbow free but Nunzio puts him down by the hair and drops a knee for a nearfall. Vito tags and Nunzio hooks Kendrick while Vito stomps. Vito slams Kendrick then nails a Vader Bomb from the top rope. London breaks up the cover, Nunzio tags in boots Kendrick snapmares and re-applies the hammerlock. Nunzio breaks the hold then slams Kendrick. Nunzio from the top rope catches Kendrick's foot rolls him back up to his feet but Kendrick answers back with a neckbreaker. Nunzio grabs a leg but Kendrick still manages to make a tag. London takes down Nunzio after a series of kicks then hits a hurricanrana off the ropes. Nunzio reverses an Irish whip but charges into a forearm allowing London to hit the Mushroom stomp. London follows up with a rolling wheel kick and Vito breaks up the cover at two. London charges Nunzio in the corner who gets his knee up then rises to the second rope and connects with the Sicilian Slice. 1-2-Kendrick breaks it up and snaps back on Nunzio's neck in the process. Vito comes in and hiptosses Kendrick. The FBI go to suplex London but Kendrick pulls him down and the FBI receive crescent kicks in stereo (shades of the Rockers there). Vito rolls outside and Kendrick runs the ropes and leaps off London nailing Vito with a suicide dive attack over the top rope. Back inside London catches a Nunzio boot spins him round and ducks as Kendrick catches Nunzio and delivers an STO as London hits an enziguiri kick. London covers and gets the duke as Kendrick stops Vito coming back in. Great matchup. Here Are Your Winners: PAUL LONDON & BRIAN KENDRICK.
Sylvan vs Matt Hardy
Lockup leads to Sylvan backing Hardy into the ropes and patting his face. Sylvan poses so Hardy punches him in the face and mocks. A riled up Sylvan lunges but Hardy ducks and boots. Hardy gets reversed off the ropes but he avoids a Sylvan leapfrog and instead punches him in the face again. Sylvan punches back, Hardy reverses an Irish whip telegraphs a Sylvan float over and punches him in the face again before ramming his head into the corner x10 and clotheslining him over the top rope and waving bye bye. Hardy goes out to punch Sylvan then back inside Hardy applies a side headlock. Sylvan to the ropes knees Hardy then sends off the ropes, Hardy boots the head but Sylvan drop toeholds a charging Hardy out of the ring. Sylvan goes out drives Hardy into the apron then back inside Sylvan stomps Hardy and drops a fist. Sylvan with a punch then Irish whips Hardy face first into the corner gets Hardy on his shoulders and delivers a gutbuster for a nearfall. Sylvan sends Hardy off the ropes and traps in an abdominal stretch and digs his elbow into Hardy's gut. Sylvan uses the ropes for leverage, Hardy refuses to quit and eventually punches free and catches Sylvan with a side effect. Both exchange punches, Hardy with forearms delivers one off the ropes then hits a running clothesline and a modified neckbreaker drop for a nearfall. Hardy with an Irish whip and clothesline in the corner. Hardy goes for a running bulldog but Sylvan counters into a side slam 1-2-no. Sylvan with an Irish whip charges into Hardy's feet. Hardy goes for a legdrop off the second rope, Sylvan moves, Hardy lands on his feet, Sylvan gets up turns round and is met by a boot to the gut followed by the Twist of Fate. 1-2-3.
