WWE Denied Restraining Order Against Brock Lesnar, Tim White to Return

- In the continuing saga of Tim White's staged suicide continues, we learn that Tim's WWE character - in real life and his WWE persona - are alive and well. Tim is expected to be brought back on WWE television in a recurring angle. Vince McMahon has been overhead in telling people about the angle, calling it "dark humor".

- Judge Christopher F. Droney of the United States District Court of Connecticut denied WWE's temporary restraining order against former WWE champion Brock Lesnar last Tuesday, the 13th. WWE was trying to stop Lesnar from competing for NJPW during his court case with the company.

Droney has ordered a hearing be held on January 3rd in Hartford, CT where both sides can present their arguments regarding WWE's request for a temporary injunction against Lesnar.

This is a tough break for Lesnar because the court day falls within 24 hours of Lesnar's scheduled IWGP championship defense at New Japan's biggest show of the year, their 1/4 Tokyo Dome event.

Each side has until next Tuesday (the 27th) to file their arguments with the court, including a list of witnesses, legal precedents, and exhibits that will back their side. The court is allowing each side to have two hours to argue their side in the hearing, although it will take requests for further time under consideration.
