I reported earlier that Matt Morgan was arrested this past weekend on charges for impersonating a law enforcement officer. According to Morgan, that is not the true story. Morgan said that he was cut off in traffic by a lady while driving in the Louisville, Kentucky area, when he pulled next to her and told her that she was lucky that he was not a police officer.
Later on during the day, Morgan was heading to the gym when he ran a red light as a police officer got behind him. During the traffic stop, the officer ran his license plates and the car matched the description of the call they received about someone impersonating an officer. Morgan was brought in but later released; however, a local TV station reported that the former WWE star was arrested.
Morgan was backstage at this past Sunday’s TNA Final Resolution PPV as there has been a lot of discussion about bringing him into the company.
