It was confirmed on Wednesday that longtime TNA color-commentator Taz has officially parted ways with the promotion, and now TNA President Dixie Carter has surfaced to share her two cents on the subject.
Carter, who serves as the top executive behind-the-scenes in TNA, took to social media to address -- and confirm -- the rumors that Taz is no longer affiliated with the pro wrestling promotion thst is carried by the Destination America cable channel.
"You are such a talent, an amazing family man and a legend inside the ring, Taz," wrote Carter. "[I] wish you all the very best, always!"
On Wednesday, when the news first surfaced online, the veteran TNA announcer posted the following statement on his own official social media account:
"[I'd] like to thank TNA Wrestling for the opportunity to apply my craft for [the] past several years," wrote Taz on his official Twitter account shortly after the news became official. "Best wishes to [TNA] in the future."
