Tons of TNA Notes: Christian vs. Jarrett, Sabin Hurt, Devon’s Bloody Promo, more

Monday’s replay of TNA Impact on Spike TV did a 0.7 rating. Spike TV officials are very pleased with the continued growth of TNA.

TNA taped a “press conference” yesterday afternoon for the Christian Cage vs. Jeff Jarrett Against All Odds PPV main event match that will air on this Saturday’s edition of Impact.

There was legitimate concern that Chris Sabin broke his ankle last night at the Impact tapings during his tag match with partner Sonjay Dutt taking on Petey Williams & A-1 to air on this Saturday’s edition of Impact. TNA officials are now saying that Sabin’s injury is just a bad sprain.

Dory Funk Jr. and Chris Kanyon were backstage at last night’s Impact tapings visiting with friends.

“The Fallen Angel” Christopher Daniels did not make an appearance at last night’s TNA Impact tapings, but was there to do some backstage vignettes.

Shane Douglas was not at last night’s Impact tapings so Terry Taylor replaced him to do backstage interviews. Tom Prichard and Glen “Disco Inferno” Gilberti were backstage working as agents with Jerry Lynn and Simon Diamond. Apparently they got the job on a “tryout” basis.

Team 3D member Devon was so busted up after one of the segments at last night’s taping, the TNA ring crew had to actually go out and change the ring canvas after the segment was taped. One worker backstage described it as an "absolutely sick amount of blood."
