What You Didn’t See Last Night on WWE RAW; More Notes

The following report was called in via telephone by Richard & Ryan Gray to Ryan Clark who wrote the actual content. Please credit WrestlingNewsWorld.com when using this report.
There were no Heat or Velocity matches taped due to it being a supershow.

After RAW went off the air:

Shawn Michaels laid in the ring and was attended to as he was busted open. Vince and Shane McMahon went backstage. The refs carried Chris Masters to the back. The announcers went to the back as well. More attendees came out to help HBK. Marty Jannetty watched from outside the ring. HBK was finally helped up, the crowd cheered and he made his way to the back. Several fans had already cleared the building before the show ended. No return date was announced but overall an excellent crowd.

Few side notes:

I will say that I was very surprised at the amount of heat on Kurt Angle. Although he is supposed to be over as a face, he was greeted with immense “you suck” chants throughout the night.

John Cena took a shot at the crowd during a commercial break after an initial good reaction turned into booing from the older male audience in attendance.

Oddly enough there were no in-ring promos during SmackDown and only one backstage segment that I can remember. I’m sure WWE will have to add more in before the show airs this Friday on UPN.
