Triple H's music played and he walked onto the stage with Stephanie McMahon. Michael Cole, JBL, and Byron Saxton checked in on commentary and narrated still shots of the Undertaker vs. Brock Lesnar match from Hell in a Cell, including the Wyatt Family taking Taker away.

In the ring, Hunter and Stephanie gushed over Hell in a Cell and noted that Alberto Del Rio beat John Cena to become the new U.S. Champion. Hunter spoke about how HIAC featured the emergence of the next generation of superstars. Huh? Stephanie introduced Seth Rollins as the best example of this.

Hunter and Stephanie raved about Rollins defeating everyone that they put in front of him. Hunter said he ousted Kane as the director of operations and made WWE better in the process. They both told him they are proud of him. Rollins hugged them both and then said he's speechless for the first time ever.

Rollins told the crowd to give it up for The Authority. Stephanie said that Rollins is the greatest superstar of his generation and is headed for the WWE Hall of Fame. She said they put them in a tough spot because he's beaten everyone there is to beat. Hunter said the next challenger has to earn the right to step in the ring with Rollins.

Triple H announced that they will take the winners from HIAC and put them against one another and then they will meet in a four-way with the winner becoming the No. 1 contender. Rollins started to say that's best for business, but he was interrupted.

Roman Reigns made his entrance through the crowd and joined the trio inside the ring. Reigns said the whole scene was making him sick. He mocked the idea of Rollins being WWE Hall of Fame bound. Reigns said that after tonight he will be the number one contender. "And I'm taking that championship," he said. "Believe that." Stephanie McMahon added, "Well, then, let the games begin"

WWE World Title Number One Contender Qualifying Match
- Roman Reigns vs. Kofi Kingston

Before the match, New Day cut a promo on their way to the ring about how the biggest difference between them and Reigns is that they are champions and he is not. Reigns performed a neck breaker on Kingston, who rolled to ringside.

Kingston got his offensive run as the broadcast team spoke about Reigns being weary from the Hell in a Cell match. Reigns fought back with punches and a headbutt. Kingston came back and performed a double ax-handle off the top rope. JBL questioned whether Kingston ended up facing Reigns on the right night.

Reigns came back and threw ten clotheslines in the corner as the crowd counted along. Reigns threw Kingston across the ring, then ran into a kick. Reigns rolled up Kingston, then picked him up at two and slammed him down for a two count. Big E tried to get involved, but Reigns knocked him off the apron. Kingston went for Trouble in Paradise, but Reigns ducked it and then speared him and pinned him.

Roman Reigns beat Kofi Kingston in 12:45 to advance to the four-way match.

Backstage, The Miz had a group of anonymous people gathered to watch him play the new WWE video game as Steve Austin... Cole hyped exclusive content will be unveiled on WWE's social media platforms... The broadcast team narrated still shots of Alberto Del Rio beating John Cena to win the U.S. Championship with Zeb Colter in his corner. Cole hyped Del Rio vs. Neville, Big E vs. Dolph Ziggler, and Cesaro vs. Kevin Owens as the other qualifying matches.

- Cesaro vs. Kevin Owens

Owens got a pre-tape talking about winning both titles. Owens jumped out to the early advantage with punches and then played to the crowd by saying, "That's why I'm the best." Owens taunted Cole before Cesaro came back with a suplex.

Cesaro had a nice offensive run coming out the break. Owens came back with a backslide for a two count. Cesaro came back with his springboard spinning uppercut. They were caught up in the ropes or a second. Owens caught a distracted Cesaro with a kick and then delivered the Pop-Up Powerbomb for the win...

Kevin Owens defeated Cesaro to advance to the four-way match.

Backstage, Paige finished a phone conversation and then boasted to Charlotte and Becky Lynch about how much her phone has been blowing up since she was on the Conan talk show. Charlotte shook Paige's hand and thanked her for coming out after her match, then told her there will be consequences if she finds out she attacked Natalya. Paige swore she did not. Paige proclaimed PCB as being back together for a match against Team Bella and swore it was a new beginning.

Charlotte, Becky Lynch & Paige vs. Nikki Bella, Brie Bella & Alicia Fox

Cole read the tweet that some suspected was a sign that Nikki was taking time away. Late in the match, Nikki performed the Rack Attack on Lynch and pinned her.

Nikki Bella, Brie Bella, and Alicia Fox beat Charlotte, Becky Lynch, and Paige in 5:25.

After The Match: Paige Attacks

After the match, Paige attacked Charlotte as she was tending to Lynch. Paige gave Charlotte the RamPaige and the followed up by doing the same to Lynch. Paige applied the PTO on Charlotte.

The broadcast team discussed the situation at ringside and then shifted to hyping the release of the WWE video game on Tuesday. We got to see what it would be like if Lesnar and Taker battled in Hell in a Cell. They also hyped clips from the real match that occurred the night before.

Cole and company narrated still shots of the Undertaker vs. Brock Lesnar match from HIAC, and The Wyatt Family hauling Taker away afterward. JBL said it was one of the most terrible things he's ever seen in the business and said it was total disrespect. Cole said Wyatt would appear and explain later on Raw...

Backstage, Renee Young interviewed Alberto Del Rio and Zeb Colter. Zeb spoke about the John Lennon song "Imagine" and told her to imagine if the United States and Mexico became one. He said they are delighted to call themselves Mex-Americans. Del Rio spoke briefly about once again becoming champion while looking upward... Neville made his entrance.

WWE World Title Number One Contender Qualifying Match

Colter drove his motorized scooter to ringside and had a blended U.S. and Mexico flag. Neville went on the offensive and was running the ropes for a move when Del Rio ducked to ringside and conferred with Zeb. [C]

Footage aired from during the break of Del Rio catching Neville with the Backstabber. Neville came back and performed a nice dive onto Del Rio on the floor. Back inside the ring, Del Rio caught Neville with a running enziguiri for a two count.

Del Rio set up for his finisher, but Neville countered into a pin for a two count. Del Rio got up first and turned Neville inside out with a clothesline. Del Rio had Neville leaning on the ropes and went for his running leg drop, but Neville moved and Del Rio went to the floor. Neville went up top and Del Rio tripped him up and caught him in the tree of woe. Del Rio performed a double stomp and then pinned Neville. After the match, Del Rio reluctantly shook Colter's hand...

Alberto Del Rio beat Neville in 12:05 to advance to the four-way match.

Ryback & The Dudley Boyz vs. Rusev, Sheamus & King Barrett

The teams traded punches once all six men were in the ring. Later, Barrett took a wicked uranage from Bubba. The babyfaces stood call and chanted "Feed Me More" together before clotheslining their opponents. Barrett took the Whassup spot from all three babyfaces. Bubba called for the tables. Bubba clotheslined Sheamus and Rusev, then Barrett rolled up Bubba and pinned him...

Rusev, Sheamus, and King Barrett beat Ryback and The Dudleys.

Bray Wyatt sat in his rocking chair in mid-ring. He said Taker walked among the darkness and the light. He said Taker had no equal and grown men trembled at the sound of his name. Wyatt said the apocalypse showed its face.

Wyatt said last night was war and he wants to make something clear tonight. He said they will dance again one day once he is properly revitalized. He said Undertaker has become his resurrection. Wyatt said fans can't understand, but once you've tasted that type of power it consumes you. Wyatt said he is feasting on the soul of Taker and he wants and needs more.

Wyatt said Taker's soul is being ripped the shreds right now. He asked the fans in the arena to bow their heads, and the fans at home to place their hands on their television sets. He asked them all to share a moment of silence for the man who lost his soul to him. "Rest in peace, Phenom," Wyatt concluded.

Kane's pyro shot off and he limped to the ring. Wyatt remained seated and held up his hand. The Wyatt video flashed. When the picture returned, Wyatt was seated in the corner and he had the rest of the Wyatt Family standing on the ring apron. Kane took out Luke Harper and Erick Rowan, then threw punches at Braun Strowman.

Kane was able to get Strowman to ringside and then he faced off with Wyatt. Kane got him by the throat, but released it to grab Harper and Rowan. Strowman struck Kane from behind. Harper and Rowan double chokeslammed him. The fans chanted for Undertaker as the Wyatts roughed up Kane. The Wyatts picked up Kane and carried him out just as they did Taker the night before.

A shot aired of the Wyatts dragging Kane into a smoking area backstage while they sang "He's Got The Whole World In His Hands"

WWE World Title Number One Contender Qualifying Match
Big E. vs. Dolph Ziggler

Breeze and Summer were at ringside in a VIP section next to the broadcast team complete with a velvet rope.

Big E controlled the majority of the offense coming out of the break. Ziggler went for the Fameasser, but E powerbombed him for a two count. Eventually, Ziggler hit the move and got a two count of his own. Big E came back with a running splash for two. In the end, Ziggler avoided a charging E in the corner, then put him down with the Zigzag...

Dolph Ziggler beat Big E in 13:55 to advance to the four-way match.

The broadcast team hyped Reigns vs. Owens vs. Del Rio vs. Ziggler as the four-way main event...

Backstage, Dean Ambrose gave Roman Reigns a peptalk. He spoke about how close Reigns was to winning the title at WrestleMania and then how close he was to winning the Money in the Bank contract. Ambrose said forget the past. He said Reigns has to go out there and take it. Reigns said he has this and they bumped fists.

Another breast cancer charity video aired... Titus O'Neil stood in the ring with a group of breast cancer survivors, Triple H, Stephanie McMahon, and other WWE wrestlers. Titus said they become one team with one goal, which is to rise above cancer. He said the breast cancer survivors are heroes. He got the crowd to chant rise above cancer. Then he actually did the ridiculous Millions of Dollars Dance with the breast cancer survivors.

Backstage, The Miz was playing the game and won. Steve Austin showed up and intimidated Miz before getting him to pimp the release of the game tomorrow.

WWE World Title Number One Contender Match
- Roman Reigns vs. Kevin Owens vs. Alberto Del Rio vs. Dolph Ziggler

Ring entrances for the main event took place. Seth Rollins sat in on commentary. Cole hyped that Miz will be on ESPN SportsCenter with Jonathan Coachman tomorrow night. Ziggler tagged Reigns with a superkick at ringside heading into the break.

After the break we see Owens and Del Rio working together on Ziggler. They eventually go at each other.

Following a bunch of false-finishes with many of the guys finishing moves being executed for close pin fall attempts, the fans in San Diego get into the bout and let it be known with "This is awesome!" chants.

We get another series of each guy trying their finisher until finally Reigns hits the Drive By on Del Rio and then blocks a Pop Up Powebomb attempt from Owens, hitting a Superman punch on him and a spear for the 1-2-3. Reigns is the new number one contender to the WWE title.

After the match, Rollins rants on commentary as Reigns walks over to him. The two stare each other down until Reigns pats Rollins on the back and walks off with a smirk on his face as Rollins looks worried.
