A belated welcome back to one and all. Let's not waste any time and get on with the show. We begin this week with the Prince of Perversion in action.

Goldust vs Rob Conway
Goldust crouches while Conway does some posing. Goldust motions for Conway to kiss his ass, Conway charges in and takes advantage with a quick side headlock and shouldertackle for a two count. Conway goes back to the headlock, off the ropes Conway ducks a clothesline but gets hit by a butt shot. Goldust gets the better of a slap exchange and Conway cowers to the corner. Goldust follows up with a series of stomps and sets up for shattered dreams but the referee blocks his path enabling Conway to gauge the eyes, clothesline and lay into Goldust with mounted mat punches. Conway backelbows Goldust down off the ropes before dropping some elbows and keeping his arm flexed before dropping the last one for a couple of nearfalls. Conway ties Goldust up in a rear naked choke, Goldust fights free, Conway knees the gut and forearms. Goldust off the ropes comes back with a drop down shot to the throat and inverted atomic drop before knocking Conway down with a punch. Goldust mounts Conway in the corner for a nine punch and one bionic elbow assault. Goldust readies a slumped Conway for a running bulldog out of the corner but Conway sends Goldust into the opposite corner and hits a shot to the back before schoolboying him for a nearfall. Conway with a boot and forearm fires Goldust off the ropes, Goldust ducks a clothesline and hits something like a cross body attack and gets the pinfall. 1-2-3. Conway has really fallen since the legends beat him up at Raw Homecoming. Here is Your Winner: GOLDUST.

Matt Striker vs Mike Ciatso
This is the same guy that faced Tatanka on Velocity but for some reason they've decided to change his first name. Grisham tells us his name is Mike Ciatso as he isn't announced due to a Striker promo. Striker says in most instances he conducts his lessons in a classroom but from here on in the WWE ring will become his classroom. Striker calls Ciatso young man and tells him if he's thinking of hitting him in his handsome face.... a face which has been featured in GQ magazine and a face that many of the fans only wish they could have then he has a lesson to learn. Not only will Striker be encroaching and nefarious he will be vicious and aggressive and most of all he is smarter than him. It's Ciatso's turn to go to school because Matt Striker is his teacher. Striker instructs for the timekeeper to ring the bell and Striker begins with some chain wrestling, a slap to the face and a shove. Striker counters a single leg takedown with a rollup for two and delivers another slap to the face prompting Ciatso to fight back with a series of punches and a backelbow off the ropes. Ciatso gets in a clothesline and slam for a one count, Striker begs off suckering Ciatso in and Striker sends Ciatso's head into the second turnbuckle. After landing a kick to the shoulder Striker gets Ciatso up in the corner and hits a quick sequence of forearms and chops before facewashing him with his boot and hitting a running facewash. (Someone's been watching Samoa Joe). Striker ties up Ciatso's arm behind his back and hits a DDT for the win. This was much better than Tatanka's squash. Here is Your Winner: MATT STRIKER. Post match the commentators put over a vicious Striker by saying Ciatso is busted open but we don't get to see the evidence.

Lance Cade vs Val Venis
Cade has started to re-team with Trevor Murdoch on House Shows. I don't think they should re-team anymore as I think Cade is coming into his own and starting to develop as his personality reminds me of an early heel Shawn Michaels which is ironic considering he trained him. Grisham thinks Cade looks like Big Bird. Val comes out alone. Viscera isn't in the house this week meaning Val goes back to towelling a hottie pre-match. Lockup, Cade with an armdrag, Cade goes out to confront the hottie Val towelled and says how about a kiss for a real wrestler but the hottie refuses. Val with a side headlock and shouldertackle steps over into a hiptoss from Cade who says that was for the hottie. Val kicks Cade down, Val armdrags and chops Cade before sending Cade's head into the corner. Cade off the ropes into an elbow. Val follows up with an elbowdrop and kneedrop for a two count before trapping Cade in an armbar. Cade sends Val off the ropes, Val ducks underneath but Cade levels him with a clothesline that folds up Val. Cade drops an elbow before driving Val backfirst to the corner and punishing him with punches, a boot a choke with his hands and boot and more punches. Cade with a short arm clothesline for a nearfall traps Val's head in a vice. Val punches free but runs straight into a sleeper. Cade keeps Val away from the ropes but can't prevent Val escaping via a back suplex. Both men are down. Cade is up at a four count from the referee but Val counters punches with some of his own. Val chops Cade, Cade reverses off the ropes, Val nails a flying shouldertackle, a clothesline, backelbow and another chop. Cade reverses off the ropes again, Val telegraphs a backbodydrop attempt with a boot to the head and hits a half nelson slam. Val feels it gives the sign and heads up top ready for the Money Shot. Cade gets up while Val's perched up top and Val can't believe it so he leaps off with a cross body but Cade rolls through and puts his feet on the ropes for the 1-2-3. Here is Your Winner: LANCE CADE. Good little match. All Cade needs now is a finishing move and I think he has a future. I read something that Chris Jericho said about doing little things in matches like interacting with the crowd or doing something different to try and get over and I feel Cade is doing that. Post match Val is in disbelief as Cade gets out of dodge and points to his head on his way back up the ramp.

Snitsky vs Chavo Guerrero
Chavo applauds the customary Eddie chants that are heard at the start. Chavo rolls under a couple of Snitsky lunges and gets in a few shots to the back. Chavo rolls outside, Snitsky gives chase back in and is met by Chavo's kicks and punches. Snitsky absorbs them and shoves Chavo down and onto the apron. Snitsky advances, Chavo sends him away driving his head into the gut but Snitsky catches a springboard cross body attempt and presses Chavo over his head. Snitsky shows off too long though as Chavo goes for a sunset flip but Snitsky grabs Chavo by the throat, hoists him up and drives him backfirst to the corner. Snitsky punches Chavo down and shoves him urging him to get up. Snitsky rams Chavo's head into the corner shoves him down and stomps. Snitsky rips at Chavo's face throws him down and plays to the booing crowd. Snitsky with a slam drops an elbow for a nearfall stomps Chavo and goads him to get up again. Chavo gets up and tries punching back, Snitsky clubs the back and mocks Chavo/Eddie's wiggling of the arms before trapping Chavo in a bearhug. Chavo responds to light Eddie cheers and fights his way free but runs into another bearhug which is just killing the crowd. Chavo stirs to more Eddie chants but can't punch his way out so he gauges the eyes and dropkicks the knee then the head for a two count. Chavo off the ropes hits a tilt-a-whirl headscissors but can't whip Snitsky off the ropes. Snitsky punches Chavo down comes off the ropes and runs into a Chavo dropkick. Chavo goes up top for the frog splash but Snitsky gets up and press slams Chavo off to the mat. Snitsky goes for a pumphandle slam but Chavo slips behind rolls under a big boot attempt and a shouldertackle puts both men down. Snitsky gets up and clotheslines Chavo back down. Snitsky sets Chavo up for a powerbomb but Chavo turns it into a DDT mid move and covers for the 1-2-3. Mercifully this one is over. I'm begging you WWE get rid of Snitsky he is god damn awful and has boring matches. Here is Your Winner: CHAVO GUERRERO. Post match Chavo salutes Eddie.

Upon seeing the lineup to this week's show I initially balked but the middle two matches were good. Okay the main event was rubbish but overall I'm taking the positives out of the show. In my opinion Velocity is still the better show but Heat still has its moments.

Saturday Night's Main Event quick picks: (STONE COLD, BOOGEYMAN, SHAWN MICHAELS, SMACKDOWN MAIN EVENT TRIO)

End of show. I'll be back next weekend with Heat and Velocity. Take care, have a good week, enjoy Saturday Night's Main Event and I'll catch you later. Shaun.
