League Of Nations, The Wyatt Family, ECW Originals & Team Reigns Kick Off RAW

A video package focussed on the League of Nations... Michael Cole introduced the show and was joined on commentary by JBL and Byron Saxton. The stage was set up with tables, ladders, and chairs for the go-home show. The broadcast team hyped the TLC main event.

In the ring, Sheamus, Rusev, Alberto Del Rio, and King Barrett stood as music played. Sheamus spoke about how happy he is. The fans told him he looks stupid. He asked how he can be stupid when he's the WWE World Heavyweight Champion.

Sheamus boasted over ending Reigns' title run in five minutes and 15 seconds. Sheamus spoke about how they represent the greatest countries in the world. He ran through the countries and the fans chanted USA before he could get to his own. Sheamus said they couldn't find anyone in America that was good enough to lace their boots. He said it's 2015 and America doesn't cut it anymore. Sheamus boasted that they are the best of the best of the best.

The lights went out and when they came back on The Wyatt Family were standing in the ring. There was a light "yes" chant. Bray Wyatt said they haven't been properly introduced. He said his name and said the men with him are his brothers. He said he doesn't care about nations because this is his world and he allows them to breathe in it. Wyatt said they weren't there to talk, they were there for the chaos.

Rather than let the heels destroy one another, The Dudleys and Tommy Dreamer decided this would be a great time to make their entrance. Ugh. Bubba Ray Dudley said they see Bray's chaos and raise him to the EXTREME!!! There was a mild pop. Wyatt cut him off and said they were outmanned and should not get in his way.

D-Von Dudley said Wyatt is wrong. He said that when you're extreme, you don't die (ain't that the truth), you multiply. "Oh my goodness, it's Rhyno!" Cole exclaimed. Yes, really. The ECW foursome headed toward the ring. They stopped in their tracks when they heard Roman Reigns' music. Reigns, Dean Ambrose, and The Uso Brothers made their entrance through the crowd. Cole said hell was about to break loose... [C]

Sheamus, Alberto Del Rio, Rusev, and King Barrett vs. Bray Wyatt, Luke Harper, Erick Rowan, and Braun Strowman vs. The Dudley Boyz, Tommy Dreamer, and Rhyno vs. Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose, and The Usos

There was an obligatory tower of doom spot with Strowman underneath, and with Dreamer taking a leg to the head. Dreamer came back and eliminated the Wyatt Family by pinning Rowan in 5:00.

After the break, they had a Reigns and Rhyno moment and Cole spoke about how they both use the spear. The Dudleys got the better of League of Nations with Rusev taking 3D. They set up Sheamus for the Whassup spot, but Del Rio broke it up. Sheamus caught Bubba with the Brogue Kick and eliminated Team ECW in 11:30.

The match came down to League of Nations vs. Team Reigns. Cole noted that it's Ambrose's birthday. Ambrose got the better of Rusev and performed his top rope elbow for a two count heading into the break.

League of Nations isolated one of the Uso Brothers coming out of the break. Uso made the hot tag to Reigns, who worked over Del Rio to a mix of cheers and boos. Reigns dominated the heels and Ambrose performed a suicide dive onto Rusev on the floor. One of the Uso Brothers dove over the top and onto Barrett. Sheamus held onto Reigns' leg on the ring apron and Del Rio caught him with a kick to take offensive control.

Del Rio applied the Cross Arm Breaker, but one of the Uso Brothers performed a top rope splash to break it up. Sheamus tagged in and mocked Reigns' pre-spear. Sheamus went for his finisher, but Reigns speared and pinned him. Cole put it over big that Reigns "just pinned the champion."

Winners: Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose & The Usos

Backstage Segments

The broadcast team hyped that there won't be pinfalls in the main event on Sunday because of the rules of the TLC match... Ric Flair and Charlotte were shown talking backstage... [C] A commercial featuring Triple H and Stephanie McMahon taking pitches from the wrestlers about Smackdown moving to USA Network aired... Cole recapped the previous segment.

Renee Young Interviews Sheamus

[Q4] Backstage, Renee Young asked Sheamus if the outcome of that match is a sign of things to come. Sheamus said a great man once said there is no chance in hell. He said he's not going to beat Reigns, he's going to smash his face, rip his hair out, smash his face, and grind him down, and he may just do it in five minutes and 15 seconds. Young asked if there's a lesson to be learned from tonight. Sheamus said he's going to teach Reigns the lesson in the ring later tonight in front of the entire world.

Backstage: Stardust & Titus O'Neil

On the Stardust set, Stardust wore old school 3D glasses and included some Star Wars talk and worked Jack Swagger into it. Titus O'Neil was once again on the set. Titus told Stardust "you need to get you some." He clarified by saying Stardust needs to get a good book and a strong bottle of wine so he won't be talking about dark forces. Stardust said he won't rest until the WWE Universe is eclipsed in an ocean of darkness. Titus told him to have it his way and said he would see him out there.

Non-Title Match
Dolph Ziggler vs. Kevin Owens

Dolph Ziggler made his entrance for a match against Kevin Owens. Tyler Breeze and Summer Rae made their entrance. Cole said the match was coming up after the break... [C]

Breeze and Summer sat in their VIP Section. Cole said something about how Breeze might be up for a Slammy Award for best gimmick for use of the selfie stick. Ugh. Dean Ambrose was shown eating popcorn while watching the match backstage.

[Q5] With Ziggler staggering with his fists up, Owens asked if he wanted to put his dukes up and then punched him. "Show me something!" Owens yelled at him. Ziggler landed a punch, but Owens quickly regained control. Owens continued to dominate the offense, but he couldn't put Ziggler away. Ziggler rolled to ringside after a two count and the announcers questioned how he was still going. The audio cut out so they had to censor something right before the break. [C]

Owens was still in control coming out of the break, and Dean Ambrose was still eating popcorn with a soda in hand backstage. Ziggler came back briefly and sold a shoulder injury. Owens caught him leaping for a move and dumped him to the floor. Owens followed and Ziggler caught him with a DDT on the floor.

Ziggler dodged a cannonball and then came back with a Fameasser for a two count at 17:35. Ziggler continued to sell the shoulder. At 19:00, Owens shoved Ziggler off the ropes and put him away with the Pop Up Powerbomb.

[Q6] After the match, Dean Ambrose walked to ringside with his soda and popcorn. Owens asked him what he wanted and complained that his music was supposed to be playing. Ambrose threw the soda pop and popcorn at him and then left the ring.

Winner: Kevin Owens

Backstage: Bray Wyatt Promo

The Wyatt Family sounder played and Bray Wyatt delivered a backstage promo about how there are now four blind mice. Strowman said he has a dream that he becomes Tommy Dreamer's nightmare. Wyatt said Strowman will show Dreamer what it truly means to be extreme.

Strowman said run... Cole hyped Dreamer vs. Strowman for later in the show... Team BAD made their entrance for a tag match.

Backstage: The Miz, Neville & Donnie Deutsch

Backstage, The Miz approached Neville in his locker room and the camera just happened to be there! Miz made his pitch about taking Neville from being an "elf on the shelf" and making him the next Daniel Bryan. Miz introduced Donnie Deutsch, whose new shows debuts after Raw. Deutsch wants Neville on the show, but he wasn't so keen on having Miz. After Deutsch left, Miz gave Neville his card. Neville threw it aside once Miz left.

Sasha Banks and Naomi vs. Brie Bella and Alicia Fox

Brie and Alicia received no reaction during their entrance. Cole referred to Brie and Alicia as "The Bellas" multiple times. Tamina pulled Alicia down when the referee wasn't looking.

[Q7] Alicia sold before kicking one of the heels into the other and then tagged in Brie. All four women ended up in the ring. Alicia and Sasha were both dumped to ringside. Sasha held Brie's leg from the floor while Tamina distracted the referee, and then Naomi performed the Rearview on Brie and pinned her.

Winner: Sasha Banks

The New Day & Team B.A.D Dance, New Day Promo

After the match, New Day made their entrance and the Team BAD women looked a strange combination of nervous and afraid. New Day had unicorn hats on. However, the women decided they liked their hats. New Day gave them their own unicorn hats and then they all danced together.

The Usos were on commentary. New Day was still in the ring. Big E said they are not selfish. Xavier Woods said they made a large donation to League of Nations. They spoke about giving name ideas to Kanye West and Kim Kardashian. One of the names was Booty West.

New Day spoke about having to defend their tag titles in a Triple Threat ladder match. They did a skit and then capped it off by singing New Day Rocks. Winners: The Lucha Dragons

Renee Young Interviews Roman Reigns

Backstage, Roman Reigns loves thievery, as he was all smiles before Renee Young interviewed him. Reigns said that if Sheamus wants to teach him something about being a champion or a man then he will pass. He spoke about blistering the skin of Sheamus from chair shots. He said he is going to teach Sheamus to know what it's like to be a former world champion (Oh, he knows). Anyway, Reigns said if Sheamus wants to teach him a lesson they will see who goes to school and who doesn't.

Miz TV With Charlotte & Ric Flair

The broadcast team spoke at ringside and narrated footage of Charlotte vs. Becky Lynch from last week, and hyped Charlotte and Ric Flair on Miz TV for after the break... [C]

[Q9] The Miz hosted Miz TV. He said he wanted to surprise his guests with an appearance by Paige, but he said that will not be happening due to circumstances beyond his control. Miz introduced Charlotte and Ric Flair. The broadcast team hyped Charlotte vs. Paige for the Divas Championship at TLC.

Charlotte scolded Miz for not introducing a legend properly and said he might as well be Tyra Banks and quit his own show. Charlotte reintroduced her father by running through his accolades. They also showed off their Rolexes. Ric announced that he will be in Charlotte's corner on Sunday at TLC.

Miz brought up Charlotte's new attitude and said people have called her self-serving and egotistical. She asked why Miz was attacking her. She questioned whether it's because she is doing what her father taught her or because she's not a man. She told Miz that she feels sorry for his wife. Miz said his wife is an actor and an interviewer extraordinaire.

Miz said it wasn't about him or his wife. Miz asked what Charlotte has to say in return to Paige. Ric shook his head no. Charlotte said that if she has anything to say she will say it on Sunday. Miz said her father taught her well. Miz said Paige said some of the most horrible things he has ever heard. He said this is Charlotte's forum to respond, but she wants to turn it down. He questioned why she wouldn't answer his question.

Flair said this isn't Miz's chance to grill Charlotte to get a ratings bump for Miz TV (lord knows Raw could use them). Miz continued to push. Charlotte said the only thing lower on the food chain than Miz is the backstabbing, two-faced Paige. Charlotte said she will destroy Paige for everything she has said about her and her family. She said Paige will be lucky if she ever steps foot in the ring again after Sunday.

Miz said he's happy Charlotte said that. "Because guess who is actually here?" Paige walked out to a decent reaction and said she is here and she's all Charlotte's. Flair said it's a ploy to upset Charlotte. Ric said they are Flairs and they are champions. Ric held the ropes open for Charlotte, who left the ring. Paige slapped Ric and then did a mock strut. "Get her," Flair said. Charlotte attacked Paige, who quickly rolled to ringside. Paige's music played.

Ryback vs. Rusev

[Q10] Lana and Rusev kissed in a pre-tape. She spoke about their true love and forgiveness. Lana said she knows Ryback didn't mean to hurt her and she forgives him. Rusev was in control of the match heading into the break. [C]

Late in the match, Ryback ran away from Rusev at ringside. Lana got in the way and took a spill. Ryback checked on her, and Rusev attacked him from behind and ran him into the ring post. Rusev applied the Accolade on the floor. They rang the bell and never announced a finish. Rusev eventually released the hold and shared a kiss with Lana.

Winner: No Contest

Jack Swagger vs. Stardust

Titus O'Neil was on commentary. The match was joined in progress. Swagger applied the ankle lock just seconds into the televised portion of the match. Stardust reached the ropes.

Alberto Del Rio's music played. Del Rio walked to the ring and Zeb Colter drove his scooter behind him. Later, Swagger applied the ankle lock for the submission win.

Winner: Jack Swagger

After The Match: The Chaos Continues

Immediately following the match, Del Rio attacked Swagger with a chair. Titus was shown yelling "watch out" to Del Rio, as Stardust was behind him. Del Rio struck Stardust with the chair. Del Rio went to ringside toward Swagger, who stood up with a chair of his own.

Swagger and Del Rio swung chairs at the same time, and Del Rio had the chair knocked out of his hand. Del Rio backed up and tripped over Colter's scooter. Del Rio got up and ran away. Swagger confronted Colter and asked him what's gotten into him. Colter drove away on his vicious killing machine.

The Rosebush With Adam Rose

Adam Rose hosted the latest edition of The Rosebush. He said speculation is running amuck as to why Miz is trying to mentor Neville. Rose said Miz is trying to use his clout to get Neville booked in a rematch of Dumbo. The next target was Tommy Dreamer and said his tan made him look like an oompa loompa. They used all sorts of photoshopping silliness throughout the segment.

Backstage: Alberto Del Rio Is Upset With Zeb Colter

Backstage, Del Rio yelled at Colter for getting in his way and making fans laugh at him. Del Rio said Zeb needs to stay away from him because he doesn't need him. Colter told him to calm down. Colter said Del Rio wouldn't be U.S. Champion if it wasn't for him because he saw John Cena was ripe for the picking. Del Rio told him to shut up or he would use a chair on him, just as he's going to use one on Jack Swagger on Sunday. Zeb drove away. Del Rio threw his chair and knocked over some metal poles... [C]

Tommy Dreamer vs. Braun Strowman

As announced earlier in the show, it's now time for Tommy Dreamer to go one-on-one against Braun Strowman. The Dudley Boyz and Rhyno were in the corner of Dreamer during the match, while Bray Wyatt, Luke Harper and Erick Rowan were in the corner of Strowman.

The match didn't last long, just a bit over two minutes of what basically amounted to a typical squash match. Strowman dominated Dreamer and finished him off with his submission hold.

Winner: Braun Strowman

Main Event Segment: Roman Reigns & Sheamus

Sheamus was shown walking backstage. The broadcast team spoke about Sheamus and Roman Reigns doing whatever they are going to do. On that note, we head to another commercial break.

Reigns entered the ring, which had tables, ladders, and chairs in and around it. Reigns said he was there for his lesson. "Where you at, man?" Reigns said to Sheamus. "So Sheamus calls me out and I'm the only guy who shows up." Reigns looked at the ladder that was set up in the middle of the ring and said it reminds him of his first match with The Shield.

Reigns said the match was a TLC match, but they earned their spots. He said they started at the bottom of the ladder (no, they did not) and they climbed the ladder. He stepped up the ladder as he spoke and once he got near the top he said he won the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.

Reigns acknowledged that he was taken out with two Brogue Kicks and lost the title. He said he will take it back on Sunday. Reigns said he's not leaving until Sheamus gets in the ring and they tear down the arena "with every single toy that you see in front of me."

[Overrun] Sheamus made his entrance and spoke from the stage about what a storyteller and dreamer Reigns is. Sheamus said Reigns will end TLC on his hands and knees wondering what went wrong just like at Survivor Series. Reigns asked if this is how he's going to teach him a lesson. Sheamus said he is the champion and he calls the shots. Reigns said Sheamus is Irish and he thought they loved to fight. Sheamus said everyone knows that's true.

Sheamus said he'll fight Reigns, but not tonight. Sheamus said Reigns will get his chance at TLC. "I thought Irishmen had potatoes, it just looks like you're smuggling some tater tots," Reigns said before laughing at his own joke. Oh, dear lord. Sheamus teased entering the ring. He stopped at ringside.

Sheamus said he is going to build a castle out of tables, ladders, and chairs at TLC and he's going to build it right over Reigns. Roman called him "son" again when he told him to come in the ring and show him how to do it. Sheamus said he's not a food because he knows Reigns will just hit him with a chair once he enters the ring. Reigns cast the chair aside and called him tater tot. Some of the fans chanted tater tot.

Rinse and repeat with the table. Rinse and repeat with the ladder, only this time Reigns tossed one toward Sheamus. Reigns called him "son" again while mocking him for flinching and being afraid of the flying ladder. Sheamus finally entered the ring and Reigns immediately got the better of him. They fought at ringside.

They fought into the crowd and Reigns ran him into a couple of plastic trash containers, then slammed the plastic containers onto Sheamus. They fought up to the stage area where the TLC "toys" (ugh) were located. Once on the stage, Reigns tried to powerbomb Sheamus off it, but Sheamus blocked it. Sheamus ran Reigns into a table in front of the screen, then slammed a chair over his back.

They fought back to ringside where Reigns connected with a Superman Punch. Reigns let out his big war cry and went for the spear, but Sheamus moved and Reigns went over the announce table. Reigns got up and leapt off the table and speared Sheamus through a table that was leaning against the ring. The broadcast team delivered final hype for the title match at TLC to bring the show to a merciful finish.
