WWE Velocity & Heat Reports-26th March 2006

Special Editions hosted in Studio
We are one week away from the showcase of the year..... WrestleMania as Velocity and Heat come to you as special editions once again. Steve Romero & Josh Mathews are on hand to cover Velocity while Todd Grisham flies solo on Heat covering for The Coach who is sick. Both shows are based around their respective brands Main Event at WrestleMania so here's some brief notes from the shows. We begin with Velocity.
Highlights aired from WrestleMania 21 from the following matches: Randy Orton vs Undertaker, Rey Mysterio vs Eddie Guerrero & Kurt Angle vs Shawn Michaels.
Recent events from SmackDown! are recapped and highlighted including Kurt Angle & Rey Mysterio vs Mark Henry & Rey Mysterio from three weeks ago then Rey Mysterio vs Finlay and Kurt Angle vs Mark Henry from this past Friday.
Steve and Josh run down the WrestleMania card to end Velocity.
Heat is all about Triple H and John Cena. Triple H tells us the next three months booking for him in January before we see the closing stages of the Royal Rumble match.
We see Triple H win the Road to WrestleMania Tournament (you know the one RVD should have won to face Edge for the Title at WrestleMania. Now that would be a BIG TIME match wouldn't it Mr Peter Gabriel?)
Triple H verbally buries John Cena on the mic before we see John Cena vs Big Show in a WrestleMania Rewind match then we get the generic blah that is the Triple H contract signing segment also starring the Sledgehammer.
A six man tag match is next following the fallout of the contract signing which pitted Triple H, Carlito & Chris Masters vs John Cena, Big Show & Kane.
Raw vs SmackDown! from Saturday Night's Main Event is recapped before we finish with the Triple H/McMahons/John Cena/Shawn Michaels ending from Raw this past Monday. I'm interested in seeing the crowd reactions for Cena vs McMahon tomorrow on Raw.
That's a wrap for this week. Too many Supershows are happening now for my liking as it means less Velocity and Heat. The shows will return to their normal formats next week so join me then as we count down the hours to WrestleMania. Take care, enjoy your week and I'll catch you later. Shaun.
