I was in Tulsa Saturday night and thought you might like the results of the house show.
1. The show opened up with Sharmell running to the ring saying she was afraid of
the Boogeyman. She introduces Booker T and he said it all stops tonight. Lights go
out... "I'm the Boogeyman... and I'm comin' to getcha!" However, Boogey sneaks out
from under the ring and scares both Booker and Sharmell. After a few entertaining
minutes, Booker walks away and Boogey wins by countout.
2. Up next, Matt Hardy and the Road Warrior. The match lasted about two minutes
with Road Warrior winning after distracting the ref. (big Matt Hardy pop!)
3. MNM defend the tag belts againt Kendrick and London... great fast paced match...
Melina distraction gives MNM the SnapShot for the victory.
4. Mr. Kennedy conducts a great interview with Oklahoma's own Dr. Death Steve
Williams. Kennedy talks about Williams living in the old days, and Dr. Death
finally takes out the already injured Kennedy.
5. Orlando Jordan takes the ring and speaks down to Kristal Marshall... Lashley
runs out for the save and squashes Jordan in about a minute.
6. Undertaker vs Mark Henry in a Tulsa street fight... but they didn't evenleave
the security barriers... Taker wins it with a chair shot and then a choke slam.
7. JBL gives the greatest promo all night, saying he would rather be a fence post
in Texas than a king of Oklahoma. (funny, I thought he was from NYC ???) Out comes
the Rabid Wolverine! Benoit takes it to JBL... a great bout for around 10
minutes... JBL grabs the US Belt and blasts Benoit with it causing a DQ. Benoit is
the winner, and still hooks the Cross face on! (Big pop!)
8. Rey Mysterio vs Finlay... I would rather have saw Mysterio go up against another
high flyer, but this was alright... After a beat down by Finlay, Rey wins with the
619.
9. Kurt Angle vs Randy Orton... great build up to Wrestlemania next week... back
and forth for around 20 minutes or so... Angle makes Orton tap for the win... still
the Champ!
Biggest pop- Undertaker by far!
Biggest heat- JBL by a longshot.
