Triple H Wins 2016 Royal Rumble Match, Becomes 14-Time WWE Champion

At the WWE Royal Rumble pay-per-view on Sunday night, Triple H managed to end the evening as a 14-time WWE World Heavyweight Champion.

"The Game," who entered the 2016 Royal Rumble match as a surprise entrant at #30, ended up eliminating both Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose to leave the Amway Center in Orlando, Florida as the new WWE World Heavyweight Champion.

Per the stipulation going into the match, Reigns was defending his WWE World Heavyweight Championship in the 30-man over-the-top-rope elimination match, and because Triple H was the last man standing, he is now currently one-half of the WrestleMania 32 main event as the active champion.
