WWE management has issued a new requirement to their creative team. The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that a new "rule" for the WWE creative team is to mention "major cultural events" in the opening promos on RAW every week.
The Super Bowl, The Grammys and the Emmys were all recently cited as examples that needed to be integrated into the script for the opening segment of RAW.
This isn't the only new instruction the creative team has received lately. Last week, it was reported that they were working on making their television product "more edgy" for WrestleMania season.
