WWE Launches Music Group, MNM Not Booked for WM22

WWE has announced the opening of WWE Music Group, a company designed to link WWE performers with popular music acts. Neil Lawi has been named General Manager of the WWE Music Group. Lawi, based in New York City, will report to WWE V.P. of Television Production Kevin Dunn. Lawi will work closely with Jim Johnston, who has been Music Director for the WWE for more than 20 years, and who will continue to create and produce original music for the WWE, including Superstar and entrance themes. According to Lawi, one of his first priorities is to reach out to major and key independent labels and music publishers to broaden the variety of music available to WWE.

A lot of people within WWE were really surprised by the fact that MNM was not booked for WrestleMania. This confirms the notion that this year’s ‘Mania is more about tenure and being over than anything else.
