Don’t be surprised if you see Rey Mysterio walk away from WrestleMania 22 as the World Heavyweight Champion. WWE had planned for months to give the title to Randy Orton, although some insiders are reporting that those plans could have changed.
Word making rounds backstage is that the Mick Foley vs. Edge ladder match is going to feature lots of weapons, blood, and high spots. Expect Foley to be in true form tonight.
Carlito & Chris Masters are expected to win the tag team titles tonight from Kane and the Big Show.
As we have been reporting, both Bret Hart and Hulk Hogan have flown out of Chicago so do not expect to see them tonight at the PPV.
WWE will be paying for hotel room and taxes for the SmackDown guys through tonight and the RAW talent through Tuesday. The SmackDown guys will have to pay their own room tomorrow because there is no show, however, that is considered nothing out of the ordinary.
