So, the fallout from WM begins with Cena coming out with his belt. All of the pictures are still up around the top of the arena. I can’t tell if the noise for Cena is positive or negative, but a good deal of it seems positive. He comes down to the ring with a big grin on his face.
He stops the music and I can hear the Boooooos. There are intermittent cheers, but a lot of negativity. He says, “The champ...” no reaction from the crowd, “is still here.”
He says going into WM he didn’t think he’d be holding the belt telling us that. He says for those in the free world just waking up from hibernation, HHH and he beat the hell out of each other. But that’s what it’s about - capturing this (the belt) defending this (the belt) night in and night out. It’s not about winning a popularity contest. This means you rise to the occasion and face each challenge head on. No matter what the circumstances.
He says he’ll admit in the midst of last night’s gala... “Cena sucks,” chants... There was a small, large group who wanted to see...
HHH’s new music interrupts Cena. HHH comes out in a suit without tie. He takes a sip of water and tosses the bottle off into the crowd as he heads for the stage looking totally pissed. Cena looks ready to fight if need be.
HHH gets in Cena’s face, Cena just stares back. Hhh nods and steps back. He holds out his hand to Cena. Cena looks apprehensive, puts the belt over his shoulder and goes to shake HHH’s hand. Trip pulls his hand away.
HHH says Cena’s a tough kid. The whole world saw HHH beat his ass last night, but Cena found a way to win - HHH is pissed off about it. He’s not mad at Cena, he’s pissed at himself because he made the same stupid mistake everyone who got in the ring with Cena has made - he underestimated Cena. “You tapped out,” chants. HHH says the crowd is right, he tapped out because he underestimated the champ, but it will never happen again.
HHH says Cena knows why he’s out there. HHH says the belt is his and he wants another shot at it.
Edge comes out with Lita but without music and cuts him off. Edge says the problem with HHH is he thinks he should have an unlimited number of rematches. Edge says HHH didn’t have a rematch clause so he needs to go to the back of the line. Someone who won last night against Foley in his own match - that someone is Edge. Edge says he’s perfect at WM.
HHH asks how many of those matches were main events? NONE. HHH says Edge needs to go out back and let the main event guys stay and talk.
Edge says he’s main event, but doesn’t need to dress up like Conan The Barbarian, besides he’s beaten Cena for the title before.
HHH says Edge did beat Cena but HHH took a nap and missed it all.
Edge says Edge could have taken a nap last night, but stayed up to watch HHH tap out.
Cena says He-Man and Conan can fight it out, and makes a comment about She-Ra. Cena says HHH and Edge should fight it out. He then makes a comment about Lita’s face healing as she has a couple of small bandages around her mouth. She starts screaming at him.
Edge says he’s not going one on one because he’s a human pin cushion tonight, but he and HHH could face Cena and his bling-bling in a handicap match.
Cena says he should kick Edge’s ass for saying bling-bling. HHH agrees that Edge should be beaten down for using bling-bling.
Cena says he’s not sure about this so Edge asks the crowd if they want to see the match - mixed reaction.
HHH jumps in and tries to get the crowd interested in the match - still mixed reaction.
Cena says it’s about this time he should tuck tail and save his ass, but they’ve got their match.

In the ring Lillian wearing a sparkly two piece black outfit introduces Big Show and Kane who come out to defend their tag titles. Show is glaring then breaks into his goofy grin. The Spirit Squad come out bouncing and two of them enter the ring, the rest follow. Neither Kane or Show look impressed.
Kane gets attacked from behind by Mikey. Kane nails him with an upper cut. Kane runs the ropes and gets a knee in the back from Mikey who tags in. Kane gets Kenny up in a military press and throws him at Mikey. Kane nails a side slam on Mikey. Kane climbs and nails a flying clothesline. Kane rushes Mikey in a corner and another member pulls him out of the way. Kane nails the ring post with his shoulder.
Mikey beats on Kane’s shoulder and tags in Mikey. Kenny kicks the crap out of Kane and tags in Mikey. Mikey gets a hammer lock on Kane, but Kane manages to fight out. Kenny tags in, but so does Show.
Show takes apart both SS members. Show has Kenny over his shoulder and turns knocking the ref to the mat. Another member comes off the top with a dropkick landing Show on the mat. At that point the rest of the Squad enters and beat on Show. They do their favorite each grab a limb, lift and drop on Show. Kenny then drops a leg on Show. Kenny covers Show for three.
(Well, it couldn’t last forever.)
- Winners: Mikey & Kenny of the Spirit Squad are new tag team champs

Video recap of what just happened in the ring to Kane and Big Show. The announcers are calling it the biggest upset in the WWE.
Maria is outback with the Spirit Squad. They are yelling and screaming. They celebrate by doing a cheer and announcing themselves. They look like idiots.
The announcers say they broke a PPV buy record. They then show bits from the Money In The Bank Match. Looks like it was quite a match.
RVD’s music hits and he comes out with his briefcase held overhead. The crowd loves him. He puts the briefcase across his arm and looks at it lovingly (I almost said something about looking at it like it was full of weed, but I won’t go there as they have this new drug testing going on). He grabs a mic and says he’s had a lot of names, but after last night he has a new one - Mr. Money In The Bank Rob Van Dam, and he likes it.
He says that last night he climbed that ladder and through the glass ceiling to get the briefcase to go after the title whenever he chooses. He’s keeps getting questioned as to when he’s going to cash it in. He’s not going to wait as long as Edge did. As he sees it the opportunity couldn’t have happened at a better time. He says timing is so important that it’s extreme. (Gee, does that mean he’s going to do it at One Night Stand as has been hinted at?)

WWE Slam Of The Week is the tag title match last night at WM and Carlito and Masters being mad at each other at the end.
Masters comes stomping out to the ring without doing his normal long and drawn out entrance.
Masters rushes in the ring and slams the nameless kid into a corner and tosses him across the ring. Masters then clotheslines the kid. After a military press he tosses the kid to the mat. Masters then locks on the masterlock and the kid has no chance.
- Winner: Chris Masters
Carlito’s music hits and he comes out to the ring ginning while Masters stands there panting from the quick match. Carlito looks down at the prone kid on the mat and nods. He then takes a bit of apple an stares at Masters. Masters glares at Carlito and shakes his head that he better not do anything stupid. Carlito spits the apple in the kid’s face as he lays on the mat.
Masters music hits and he starts wandering the ring. Carlito nails Masters from behind with a back cracker. Carlito then beats on Masters down on the mat. Masters lays on the mat with Carlito standing over him. Carlito throws his apple down on the mat and spits in Masters’ face sans apple. Carlito backs up the ramp grinning, Masters doesn’t look as happy.
- Commercial - They show video and stills from last night’s show, it’s a promo for PPV replays of WM.
HBK’s music hits and the crowd pops. HBK comes out in a beautifully cut suit, matching shirt and decent tie. Someone else had to have dress him as I haven’t seen him dressed that well... Ever. He actually looks spiffy rather than like he dressed in the dark!
He grabs a mic, but soaks up the chants first. He says last night his match with Vince was everything he said it would be. It was violent, brutal and got down right ugly. At any point after one sweet chin music he could have ended it any time. Nope, last night was not a wrestling match, it was making Vince’s life into his own personal hell.
He now feels a weight lifted off his shoulders. He no longer has to deal with Vince’s oiled up orange tinted body strutting down to the ring He no longer had to deal with public urination tests, marching bands of pointless Oscar speeches. Now he can finally move on. HBK say that since the popular thing is to want to beat up Cena. So why can’t HBK beat up Cena? Why can’t he beat up Cena for the title?
Shane’s music hits and he comes out to the stage.
HBK says to give a warm Chicago welcome to the newest member of the Vince McMahon Kiss My Ass Club.
Shane says that after less than 24 hours, after having been wheeled out on a stretcher - his father Vince McMahon.
Vince comes out with a neck brace and bandages on his head. Vince asks if HBK knows what he’s done. Vince says his devoted wife Linda and dear sweet daughter Steph witnessed what HBK did to him. By the way, Steph is 6 months pregnant. But nothing compares to what he did to Shane when he pushed Shane’s face up into Vince’s rectal cavity. Then he handcuffed Shane and made him watch while he took liberties with Vince in the ring. Vince says that HBK may not care but Shane is psychologically and emotionally scarred for life. But HBK wants to move on a get a title match. Vince says there’s no chance in hell of HBK getting a title match. Vince says he has two words for HBK.
HBK cuts him off and says he and Chicago have two words for Vince. The crowd screams, “Suck it!” Then the chant turns to, “DX” chants.
Vince’s two words are divine intervention. Vince says he was on his way to ripping HBK limb from limb until there was intervention from God. Then it was virtually a handicap match. Vince looks up and says that God is picking on him and being a bully.
HBK cuts him off and says he doesn’t want to cut off his delirious rant with the All Mighty. It might be the meds, or he might have finally gone completely insane. Vince starts heading for the ring and Shane stops him.
HBK calls Vince a ‘Mental Monty’ and tells him to hold on. He asks if Vince has a point.
Vince says he does. No one beats the McMahons. No one beats the McMahons. HBK might have won a battle, but the McMahons will win the war. Vince says that’s what this is, a war. The war for HBK is going to continue because he’s going to get better and Shane will get over his emotional scarring. In four weeks at Backlash there will be a tag match. It will be HBK and his partner - God, against Vince and the product of his semen - Shane.
HBK stands in the ring shaking his head, but with a slight grin on his face.
King says that Vince might have finally lost it by booking God in a tag team match.

WWE Rewind is stills from Mickey and Trish’s match last night.
The announcers talk about what’s happened so far tonight. Video recap of Spirit Squad beating Show and Kane. Then video of Carlito attacking Masters.
Trish’s music hits and she comes out limping, looking pissed for a tag match wearing a two piece black outfit. She doesn’t have her normal spunk. Torrie Wilson comes out to be her partner with Chloe in hand wearing a sparkly two piece blue outfit. Candice comes out wearing a sparkly hot pink two piece outfit with a long coat over it. Trish’s giggle hits, as in the beginning of her music. Then it turns into Mickey’s music. Mickey comes out in a two piece black outfit and her blond Trish wig. She raises the belt as Trish always does and comes down to the ring moving and acting like Trish. Trish looks mighty confused at what Mickey’s doing. Candice laughs like crazy about it.
Trish and Candice lock up. Trish gets an armlock and then headlock on Candice. Trish then nails a headlock takeover planting Candice on the mat. Candice fights her way out while Mickey latches her belt over the top rope in her corner distracting Trish. Candice tries to clothesline Trish, but Trish does a backbend to dodge it. Trish kicks Candice in the gut. Trish then holds the front of Candice’s hair and kicks her in the gut again. Trish does a handstand and executes her head scissors. Candice goes flying and lands on her rump.
Torrie tags in and pushes Candice to the mat. Candice crawls to her corner and tags in Mickey who has been fawning over her belt this whole time. Torrie gets kicked by Mickey. Mickey then rushes over and kicks Trish in the knee knocking her from the apron. Torrie kicks Mickey in the gut and then throws a bunch of forearms.
Mickey ducks a clothesline and then nails a chick kick on Torrie and covers for the win. Mickey rolls from the ring pointing at Trish and laughing like a psycho. Trish grabs Mickey’s belt and gently holds it out between the ropes to Mickey. Mickey rips it from Trish’s hands while screaming that the belt is hers and not Trish’s, that she earned it.

Video recap of the Hall Of Fame ceremony. They start of with Hogan inducting Mean Gene. Gene then comes out and says he should be buried face down so his critics can kiss his ass. Then is the induction of Eddie. Austin then inducts Bret Hart. Bret looks good and says he’s there to celebrate his career and not mourn it. His speech seemed very heartfelt - impressive.
Chavito’s music hits and he comes out on the stage with a mic. ‘Eddie’ chants hit immediately. He says his name is Chavo Guerrero and he has never been more proud than he was last night at WM. He wants to thank every person who has kept his uncle’s name alive, because he is alive, right here (heart). ‘Eddie’ chants.
What makes last night even more unbelievable is that his friend, no his family member won the title last night. If he has any regrets it’s that he didn’t get a chance to go after a title. ‘Chavo’ chants ring out as loud as the Eddie chants had before. Well, tonight is his WM as he’s going after the IC title and will dedicate it to Eddie.
The morning of November 13th he will never forget and he promises not to let his family down.
(This bit was so full of energy and heart it brought tears to my eyes. It seems as if Chavito is back and better than ever.)

Chavito is in the ring and Shelton Benjamin comes down to face him. Shelton is wearing sunglasses and a gold chain trying to look cool, but looking like a goober.
Shelton glares at Chavito and they lock up. A bit of chain wrestling and Chavito nails a suplex for two. They lock up again. Shelton throws forearms and backs Chavito into a corner. The ref tries for a clean break, but Shelton bitch slap Chavito. Chavito comes back with upper cut and backs Shelton into a corner. Chavito stomps Shelton in a corner. Shelton tries to slingshot Chavito out of the ring. Chavito goes over the top rope, but hold on and gets his footing on the apron. Chavito throws a punch and then goes for a shoulder to Shelton’s gut, but Shelton gets a knee into Chavito’s face. Chavito tries to hold on but falls to the floor with an audible thud. Shelton follows him out and drops him face first onto the apron. Shelton rolls Chavito in and gets a two count.
Shelton locks on a side headlock. Chavito uses the crowd to get to his feet and tries to fight out with elbows, but gets a knee to the gut. Chavito nails a standing drop kick followed by punches and a back body drop. Chavito nails another drop kick for two. Chavito kicks Shelton in the gut, but gets a poke to the eye. Chavito gets whipped into a corner, but moves so Shelton splashes the padding.
Chavito ducks a clothesline and nails a tilt-a-whirl dropkick. Rather than covering Chavito gives props to Eddie. Chavito the nails the three amigos. Chavito climbs but Shelton moves barely missing the 5 star frog splash. Shelton then nails his T-bone suplex for three.
Chavito slowly gets to his feet to ‘Chavo’ chants. He looks up and apologizes to Eddie. Chavito slowly walks up the ramp looking like he’s about to cry.

- Commercial - again a commercial for future viewings of WM this week.
This week in wrestling history is 1989. Flair and Steamboat in a 2 out of 3 falls match. Flair gets the first fall, Steamboat the second. Steamboat pins Flair, but it looks like Flair had his foot in the ropes.
During the commercial Chavito says he let his fans down, his family down and Eddie down. Chavito is in tears and says maybe he shouldn’t be a wrestler any longer. He then says he quits and walks off. (Guess I’m eating my words!)
Flair’s music hits and he comes out in a beautifully cut suit - as usual. He gets in the ring and takes a mic. He says he’s had some unbelievable moment in Chicago - like that’s a shocker. But he’s also had some unbelievable moment in his career in Chicago.
He says he gave 120% last night, but didn’t win. That doesn’t mean he doesn’t have a 17th run in him and he’s still going for it.
Some guy in a nice suit and a white panama type hat cuts Flair off and comes down to the ring. He tells Flair his time is over, time for a change. America needs a new hero and his name is...
Flair cuts him off and say he doesn’t know who he is but...
Armando Alejando Estrada cuts him off again by stating his name. He says he watched Flair growing up in Cuba on his broken down TV, with rabbit ears, held together with aluminum foil. But now he is a business man and enjoys nice clothes, nice women and the cash. He again says Flair’s time is over. He says he wants to introduce the man who is going to change of RAW, in WWE...
Flair cuts him off and asks of he cut him off again and calls him an island jumping Cuban. Flair takes off his jacket and tells Estrada to introduce this guy
Estrada says he will do better and brings Humonga(?) out. A huge guy with lots of hair, tattoos and a sarong comes out and attacks Flair. He gets Flair down sitting in a corner and slams his bum into Flair’s face. Estrada tells Humonga to get Flair up. Humonga takes of his sarong, wraps it around Flair’s neck and pulls him to his feet. Humonga gets Flair up in the rack and slams him to the mat. They then leave the ring and Flair who is not moving.

The manager of the White Sox is in the front row.

Edge and Lita come down to the ring. HHH’s (old) music hits and he comes out not looking like Conan tonight.

Cena then walks to look at HHH and show he’s ready for him. HHH stands up, but Edge attacks from behind knocking Cena to the mat. HHH sits back down.
Cena goes for an FU, but Edge wiggles out. Edge face plants Cena and covers for two. Cena fights back with punches. Both are down and HHH slowly edge down to the mat. Cena turns around and sees him, so he backs off. HHH tries to talk Cena down. Edge goes for the spear but Cena moves and Edge nails HHH. Edge just shrugs and turns back to Cena.
