Speculation has arisen that Kurt Angle could have injured himself at this week’s SmackDown tapings in London, England. Angle was seen leaving Wembley Arena holding his arm and shoulder. While he may have been doing this to sell it to the fans, the referee threw up the “X” sign after camera stopped rolling, the “X” sign is usually a sign that a wrestler has suffered a legitimate injury. It is possible that the injury occurred when Mark Henry (who has been known to injure people in the ring) connected with a running splash through a table on Angle.
Remember that Angle is working through serious neck problems, as he is in severe pain most days after he had his neck fused together back in 2003. Some backstage say that Angle shouldn’t even be working and should be out for several months, however, refuses to slow down and chooses to work through the pain.
