Alexa Bliss On How NXT Stars Found Out About Being Drafted To Main WWE Roster

WWE Superstar and SmackDown Live roster member Alexa Bliss recently spoke with Evening Express out of the U.K. to promote tonight's WWE No Mercy pay-per-view, prior to the announcement that her title match against Becky Lynch was cancelled due to Lynch dealing with an injury.

During the interview, Bliss spoke about the surprise factor in being drafted to the main roster as part of the SmackDown Live crew during the most recent WWE Draft / brand extension.

"I was really shocked as you have no idea who is being drafted," said Bliss. "We were all sitting at the Performance Center waiting to see whose picture would go up on the show."

Bliss continued, describing how she reacted when she in fact saw her own picture up as the latest NXT roster member drafted to the main roster.

"As soon as my picture went up I dropped and began crying. It was such an emotional experience and I was overwhelmed," Bliss recalled. "I had been in NXT for more than three years and it felt like all that hard work had paid off. Now I want to push myself to the limits to see what I can do."
