Video recap of Vince telling HHH to be guest ref. HHH goes out and does a horrible job as ref and attacks SQ. SQ attacks Cena as HBK as guest ref comes out to the ring. HBK rushes to the ring but refuses to count to three for Kenny. HBK attacks the SQ and counts Cena’s win.
Music and pyro.
JR is back at the announce table in suit, tie and his famous hat (gosh I missed him!).
HHH comes out in wrestling gear with water bottle in hand. He does his normal wrestling entrance. He takes a mic and says he’s not here to fight with Vince over what he deserves. He’s only there for the WWE Title. He’s heard the argument that he’s lost his chance. But he’s the exception to every rule.
He says in the arena he’s beaten everyone. He calls out Cena saying he wants the belt and he wants it now. He waits. HHH then tells Cena he doesn’t have all night and to get out there now.
Cena’s music hits and he comes out to mixed response. He has a mic and tells HHH to wait one second. Lots of ‘Boos’.
He tells HHH he’s going to explain it to him. HHH has had 10 championships. The Yankees have like 27, but they don’t get a pass straight to the World Series every year.
The belt isn’t about the past, it’s about now. HHH has done a lot in the past, but Cena has pinned him and mad him tap. But Cena knows that if he puts HHH to the back of the line he will have to listen to HHH every week.
Option A: listen to HHH every week, he will have to see him every week and probably get hit in the head with the sledge every week. Or he can take Option B: and just kick HHH’s ass right now. Cena decides to take Option B.
HHH says he likes that idea and that they need a ref to make it official.
Vince’s music starts and he comes down to the ring.
Vince says there’s no reason for a ref right now, ‘Boos’, because there won’t be a championship match. Every week HHH defies Vince and expects to get a title shot.
HHH says yes.
‘Asshole’ chants for Vince, but Vince says that’s not a nice name to call a sports entertainer.
HHH says he understands Vince wanted his boy Kenny to win the title because he’s so full of spirit. He knows Vince loves the SQ. The SQ probably get together every night and pump each other full of the spirit. Giving Kenny the belt to Kenny is a lateral move. From a poser to a cheerleader.
Cena says he’s got lots of poses. Cena then does so for the crowd.
HHH says the best is Cena flat on his back.
Cena tells him it hasn’t happened.
HHH says to Vince that he understands...
Vince tells him to shut up and his name is Mr. McMahon. He’s not friends with the people outback - he’s the boss. To show he’s a good guy he’s going to give HHH a championship match. But not tonight... Sometime in the future. He then tells HHH to leave as he has the night off.
HHH glares at Cena on his way by.
Vince tells Cena he doesn’t have the night off. Last Vince knew Cena and HBK were mixing it up with the SQ. So in one corner will be all 5 of the SQ, in the other corner will be Cena and HBK.
Cena starts to say Vince can ‘Kiss his ass’, but Vince screams to cut the mic.
Vince says there will be a title match right now. It’s a fatal four way for the IC Title.
RVD comes out to the ring. He and Cena glare at each other as the pass on the ramp. RVD takes a mic and says he has something to say that needs to be heard. The way everything went down with Joey is a piece of crap. He agrees with everything Joey had to say about sports entertainment. He has all the same views. ‘ECW’ chants. He says he loves hearing his three letters chanted, but tonight, for Joey he wants to hear three other letters. ‘ECW’ chants are louder. RVD then prompts the fans to chant ECW - he ran through his lines but the crowd was ahead of him.

Masters and Haas are in the ring with RVD. Shelton comes down to join them.
RVD and Chris match up as Haas and Shelton do the same. Chris then helps Shelton with Haas because RVD has been tossed from the ring. The two heels are beating on Haas. They double suplex Haas. Shelton goes to cover Haas but Chris breaks it up and tosses Shelton out. Chris covers and RVD breaks the count.
RVD climbs and nails a flying dropkick on Chris who rolls from the ring. Haas comes after RVD who gets a spinning heel kick that knocks him from the ring. RVD is standing in the ring looking around at the other three who are on the outside.

Chris suplexes RVD and tries to cover but Shelton breaks it up. Haas rushes in and tries to cover RVD. Haas then covers Chris but Shelton breaks it up. RVD nails rolling thunder on Chris but gets choked by Shelton. Shelton throws forearms into RVD’s face and follows with a back suplex for two.
Haas comes in and goes after Shelton. Haas nails a cross body on Shelton and a dropkick on RVD. Haas nails a suplex on RVD for two. Haas kicks RVD in the back a couple times for two and Chris breaks it up. Haas tosses Chris from the ring and kicks Haas in the back of the head. Shelton covers and RVD breaks it up. RVD nails a sunset flip on Shelton for two. RVD then rolls Shelton up quickly for two.
Haas ducks a boot from Shelton but runs into a samoan drop. Outside Chris clotheslines Shelton. Chris enters the ring and puts the masterlock on Haas. RVD comes flying from nowhere and takes out Chris. RVD rolls up Chris for the three.

Luke Perry and one of ZZ Top are in the crowd tonight.
JR and King talk about Kane and ‘See No Evil’. King makes sure JR doesn’t say the date. They show video and the actors and director are talking about how scary, mean and Jacob-like Kane is.
Todd is outback talking about how Show and Kane will face each other tonight. Three of the actors from the movie are there.
One woman says Kane was horrible to work with and only smiled when killing people. The other woman agrees and says Kane is very scary.
Todd asks if Kane would freak out on the set about the release date. The male actor said they didn’t know the release date then. They didn’t know it would be coming out May 19th. He keeps repeating the date over and over saying how great it is for an early summer release. Finally he says the date one too many times and Kane appears behind him. The girls start screaming and run. Kane wraps his hands around the actor’s throat and chokes him.

Slam Of The Week is - Carlito and Striker when Striker gives Carlito and ‘F’ and Carlito spits apple in Striker’s face and attacks him.
Carlito comes down to the ring and jokes with Lillian when he gets in the ring. A school bell rings and Matt Striker comes out wearing an argyle sweater vest with his trunks.
Striker attacks from behind but gets drop kicked by Carlito. Carlito telegraphs and gets a neckbreaker. Striker throws a bunch of punches and follows it up with a neck stretch/hold. Carlito gets to his feet by elbows and they exchange blows. Carlito gets whipped into a corner but gets his elbow up. Carlito nails a couple of clotheslines and a springboard back elbow.
Suddenly Eugene is there attacking Striker. Eugene has Striker on the mat in a corner throwing wild punches. Carlito pulls Eugene off and asks what the hell he’s doing. Eugene goes right back after Striker. Striker nails a jaw buster on Eugene and Carlito slams Striker face first into the mat. Carlito seems like he’s being nice to Eugene but then nails him with a back cracker.

Edge comes out with Lita. Edge has a trash can in hand, Lita a baseball bat in her hand. Lita is wearing cargo pants, a black bikini top and a short sleeved black shirt open over it.
Edge takes a mic and tells the crowd to shut their mouths. He says Foley is like all California air heads. Always have smiles on their faces. The bad guys never win and the good guys never loose. Well, he beat Foley at WM and the sequel will be the same, and rated ‘R’.
Foley comes out in red and black plaid flannel with a baseball bat wrapped in barbed wire. He tells Edge that what he said was right, they did have the greatest hardcore match in WM history. So the winner of this match could call himself the greatest hardcore champ of all time. But they couldn’t use greatest hardcore anything with out ECW.
Foley says that last week Edge told Foley he could have any match he wants. It will be ECW triple threat hardcore match. He calls out the ‘Innovator of Violence’. Tommy Dreamer comes out with a kendo stick in hand.
They come down to the ring together and Edge leaves the ring. They are in the ring, Dreamer with kendo stick, Foley with his barbed wire bat. They are watching Edge intently, both wanting to attack him. Looks like they are going to work over Edge together. Edge is trying to get in the ring but acts afraid as Dreamer and Foley are ready for him. Foley then, out of nowhere, blasts Dreamer in the back of the head with the bat. Edge enters the ring now without a worry. Foley gives Edge the bat and Edge nails Dreamer in the head with it. Dreamer is bleeding profusely from the head. Foley takes it back and drives the bat into Dreamer’s head, even more blood is flowing. Foley then holds the bat to Dreamer’s crotch while Edge leg drops it. Lita and Edge pick up Dreamer by his arms as Foley pulls out Mr. Socko. Foley locks on the mandible claw to a quite bloody Dreamer while screaming ‘ECW’. Edge spears Dreamer as Foley keeps hold of the claw.
They both cover Dreamer for the three. Foley takes off the blood covered sock and casually tosses it in Dreamer’s direction. Foley shakes Edge’s hand and then kisses Lita’s hand. (Well, there were rumors of Foley going heel and pushing ECW - he did both in one match!)

Video recap of the beating of Dreamer. The announcers talk about not understanding what Foley just did to Dreamer and hope they get an answer from Foley next week about it.
Mickie James comes out to the ring bouncing in a tiny top and miniskirt. Maria then comes out with Trish by her side. Maria is wearing gold boy shorts and a black tank top with a very jeweled bra showing out the top - most of the bra was showing.
Mickie is in the ring laughing hysterically. Trish leaves the ring. Mickie is still laughing. Trish gets on the apron distracting Mickie. Maria rolls Mickie up for two. Mickie slams Maria face first to the mat and the pulls her hair. Mickie drops an elbow and drives her knee into Maria’s back.
Mickie keeps punching and kicking Maria. Mickie then nails that horrible DDT on Maria. Mickie covers for three.
Mickie holds the belt close and taunts Trish. She invites Trish into the ring. Mickie takes a cheap shot on Maria and Trish rushes the ring. Trish gets a few shots on Mickie one handed before Mickie nails Trish’s bad shoulder. Mickie is beating on Trish when some chick in black pants, a tiny black tank and big silver belt jumps the barrier and rushes into the ring. She slams into Mickie from the side with an arm across Mickie’s upper chest. Very quickly one security guard is on top of this blonde girl, another security guy is outside the ring. The one in the ring has a hard time pulling her off Mickie and getting her to let go of Mickie’s hair. She takes a chunk of Mickie’s hair with her as she’s pulled from the ring. Mickie rolls from the ring and walks around where security has the blonde on the floor.
Security is yelling to arrest her and trying to get control of her, but she’s quite wiggly. While she’s down on the floor she’s screaming Mickie’s name.
Mickie backs up the ramp screaming, “Why are you here?” and “Nobody invited you!” and “You always ruin everything!” over and over. At first I thought it was an actual fan the way they jumped her so fast in the ring. Then I realized they would have gotten her faster than that after the recent attacks on HBK and Cena. They all acted as if it was a fan - except Mickie - and did a good job of it. But if it had been a fan the would have shot to something else, not zoomed in on her face and there would have been more than a couple guys taking her down. Also the ref was looking around in a funny way just before it happened. It looks and feels like a shoot - just have to wait to find out who she is.

Estrada is in the ring. He has two jobbers in the ring with him. He asks if they have names, wives, health insurance? He then tells them they will need health insurance to fac Umaga. Umaga comes down to the ring.
Umaga attacks the tall kid with a hard clothesline in a corner. The smaller kid attacks from behind. He gets a back hand to the head and then tossed from the ring. Umaga goes back to work on the taller kid. He picks him up by his throat and tosses him over his head. He ties the tall kid up-side-down in a corner and nails a headbutt.
Umaga leaves the ring and slams the smaller kid into the barrier. The ref is counting Umaga out but Umaga gives him a butt slam to the head against the barrier. Umaga then gets in the ring and butt slams the kid who’s in the ring. He pulls the tall kid into the center of the ring.
Estrada holds up a cigar and then breaks it in half. Umaga nails the Samoan spike on the taller kid and covers for the win.

Kane comes down to the ring. King makes sure JR doesn’t say the release date. JR says it’s between the 18th and 20th of May. Big Show comes down to face him. Show is grinning and laughing, working the crowd.
Show tries to talk Kane down. He wants to shake hands. Kane reached out to tag his hand. Kane gets his arms around Show’s chest. Show reverses and takes Kane down. Back on their feet Kane locks on a side head lock. Show gets out and nails a drop toe hold. (Show is doing actual wrestling moves.)
Show goes for a test of strength, Kane joins in. Kane is forced down into a back bend, but works his way back up. Show gets Kane across his shoulders and slams him to the mat. Show hits a back heel trip on Kane, but Kane gets a quick cover.
Kane gets a hammerlock on Show. Show reverses the hold. Kane then reverses it. Show drop toe holds Kane to the mat and gets a headlock on Kane. Kane reverses into a hammerlock. Show slams Kane into the corner to get him to let go. Show whips Kane, but Kane comes out and drop toe holds Show face first into the second turn buckle.
The lights go down and red, Kane’s voice start again over the speakers. Kane stops dead in his tracks. When the lights come up Kane rolls from the ring and grabs a chair. Kane nails Show over the head with the chair and then beats Show with the chair while he’s on the mat.
(This had actually been quite an interesting ‘wrestling’ match. To see these huge guys use actual moves and holds on each other was very cool. There was little reaction from the crowd - that I could hear - they seemed to be shocked that these big guys were actually wrestling and not just beating the hell out of each other.)

Outback the SQ is talking about tonight’s match. Kenny says if anyone pins HBK it will be him. One of the others says they will take care of Cena.

This Week In Wrestling History - Hogan and Mr. T talk about the first Saturday Night Main Event. It was hosted by Vince and Ventura. Hogan faced Orton Jr. Hogan had Mr. T in his corner. They go on to talk about how there were over 30 SNME and how successful they were.
JR tells us the next SNME is coming up soon.
Spirit Squad come down to the ring and do a little cheer. - ‘Cena and Shawn has to take us on from the Pond and all you fans are going to cheer for (they each state their names) The tag team champs are here!’
HBK comes down to the ring to huge pop. He’s all bouncy and goofy - as usual. He stays outside the ring while the SQ all hang on the ropes and yell at him. Cena’s music hits to much less appreciation from the crowd, but he still puts his all into it.
HBK and Cena enter the ring together and the SQ vacate the ring quickly. SQ climb on the apron in their corner. Kenny and HBK start. They tie up and HBK gets backed into a corner. They exchange bitch slaps - Kenny starts it. HBK then nails a couple of chops.
Cena tags in, as does another SQ member. ‘Cena’ chants. They tie up and the SQ member throws arms all over Cena. He doesn’t do anything to Cena just looks like a perv trying to get someplace on a first date - badly. He quickly covers Cena for less than two.
He doesn’t seem to be doing much and Cena gets fed up. Cena nails a back body drop and then punches to all the entering SQ members. HBK helps clear the SQ from the ring. Cena pulls Kenny in over the top rope. Cena and HBK toss Kenny out over the top into the rest of the SQ.

Cena tags in and takes Johnny down with a couple clotheslines and then slams him to the mat. Cena nails the 5 knuckle shuffle to huge cheers. Cena gets Johnny up for the FU, but another SQ rushes in. Cena kicks him and drops Johnny. Johnny kicks Cena from behind for two.
Cena has been thrown for a loop. Another SQ tags in and nails Cena with a bunch of right hands dropping him from the ring. The SQ attacks Cena outside and use the trampoline to take Cena down.
Back in the ring is another SQ tag. He stomps Cena to the mat and covers for two. Cena gets dropped by a back elbow for two. A necklock on Cena keeps him on the mat. Cena fights to his feet with punches but misses a move and lands on the mat.
Mikey tags in and covers for two. A sleeper applied on Cena. Cena pulls toward HBK, but is pulled to the heel corner. Cena gets out of the hold but gets a knee to the head for two. Another headlock is applied on Cena. HBK is screaming his support. Cena throws a couple of punches but gets a cheap shot from Kenny on the apron. HBK rushes in and distracts the ref. The whole SQ attacks Cena.
A double suplex and Cena is again down for two. Mikey climbs and flies but Cena moves. Cena is able to make the tag. HBK attacks anything in green and white. He takes them all apart. HBK nails a flying forearm. Cena is slammed into the steps outside. HBK keeps throwing punches at all SQ members.
Kenny enters with a tag belt and nails HBK in the head with it. Kenny covers HBK for three. Kenny then attacks the ref dropping him to the mat. Kenny removes the refs belt and rolls HBK onto his stomach. Kenny uses the belt to whip HBK. HBK is writhing all over the mat while Kenny keeps whipping him.
Suddenly the tone of the crowd changes. HHH is coming down the ramp looking totally pissed. Cena enters the ring at this point and takes out all available SQ members. The ring is clear of SQ when HHH enters. Cena turns right around into a pedigree. HHH nails 3 or 4 DX chops at Cena before leaving the ring.
