Raw Viewership Down Slightly Against Stiff Competition

-- Monday's Raw generated an approximate average of 2.89 million viewers for its three hour show, down slightly from the week before which drew 3.04 million viewers.

-- While this may seem like a disappointment considering the heavy promotion of both Undertaker and Shawn Michaels appearing on the show, the viewership is not a bad number considering Raw went head-to-head against the Alabama vs. Clemson college football game. That game had over 24 million viewers, the strongest competition Raw has faced in quite a while with the exception of the Clinton vs. Trump debate.

-- Raw should see stronger numbers starting next week with Royal Rumble coming up at the end of the month and WrestleMania to follow and also due to the fact that there will be no competition from football until next fall.

-- Hourly numbers:

* Hour One - 3.01 million
* Hour Two - 3.02 million
* Hour Three - 2.69 million
