Rey Mysterio is expected to take some time off soon. He is in line for knee surgery, which is right on time as he’s been in pain with a knee injury all during his title push. WWE has affirmed that the title change at Judgment Day is happening because Rey needs some rest off the road. Most wrestlers wanted to spin the situation in a way to make it seem that Rey failed as a champion. WWE has been adamant that Rey has pulled off the title win like a true champion. Not to mention not letting the glory go all to his head, which WWE is truly impressed with more than anything else. Rey is known as one of the most easy-going guys in the business. He is a persistent worker doing what ever he is told, showing up on time every time and never getting political.
