Report: Disappointing Ticket Sales for Events Around WrestleMania

  • The backstage word is that ticket sales for many of the secondary events around WrestleMania 33 are not doing as well as expected. The main reason for this is likely due to the fact that with WrestleMania itself being held in a smaller venue than last year, there are a lot less fans traveling to the show from outside of the Orlando area. Another big factor is that there is already a ton of wrestling already in the Orlando area (NXT and other groups) which is unlike the areas of San Jose and Dallas.

  • Most WrestleMania 33 tickets are already sold but there are still a good amount of seats available in both the very cheapest and most expensive sections but very few in between. The least expensive seats are $160 all the way up in the nosebleeds and this is significantly higher than years past because WWE has raised overall ticket prices to try and approach the same total gate figure with less seats to sell.

  • The WWE Hall of Fame on 3/31 is set up to be air from a 10,000 venue Amway Arena and there are reportedly still some tickets available.
